Not good. Drove 30 min. Just to get there. Got a basket full of stuff and the power went out, not unusual for here. The employees wanted everything back to the shelves and acted like they expected me to do it. Then rushed me out of the store. Disappointed. They sell a million dollars a month. You would think that they would have a generator. Not happy wasted 2 hrs of my time. And gas money.
Never been to such a neat and clean Walmart. And the cashiers were very friendly and nice.
The store being in Susanville was a big surprise on how clean it was. Found our stuff, got it and got out.
I like Walmart its convenient, has fast service, and friendly customer service.

Main place we shop now days have had employees be rude for no reason and sit and talk to someone after they are dome checking them out and ignore us. Usually well stocked on stuff but never buy from milk section its really gross.
Not too big but just right. Very clean inside and staff is really helpful. They open at like 7, I think they close around 10. It is so easy to navigate through this store, Im used to the one in redding California or Sacramento. So this was too easy to find exactly what I. Needed and go!!
Went to return a blender we bought 3 days ago. Very Rude clerk saying that we couldnt return it because it didnt have the instructions .I asked why do you need instructions for a burned up blender that doesnt turn on ? She kept saying no instructions no return and went on break . We finished our shopping and went back to try and return the blender again ( with receipt) and asked for a Manager .A manager finally came ( after making us wait while helping other customers behind us )and finally made the return after talking down to us about not having the instructions . Very poor customer service, but you get what you pay for ....

After spending $100 at the self service checkout I went to the Customer Service Desk* and politely asked the Customer Service Representative** for change for a one dollar bill. ***I use these terms loosely. No offense intended to the true professionals.*** She curtly told me that they dont do that. After I asked if the cashiers at the registers could she said Youll just have to get your change at the Bank like weeee doooo WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!! I was not, nor have I ever considered, panhandling! Im a well dressed senior who rides the bus. There is no Bank on the bus route! My little dollar bill was not counterfeit! Perhaps the great and powerful Susanville Walmart doesnt want make change for their customers, but the snide Bank remark took the exchange from rude to insulting. I will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN and recommend that everyone else who wishes to be treated fairly shop somewhere, ANYWHERE ELSE! Most retail businesses have Customer Care training for their employees. Apparently Walmart does not. Amazing!
Walmart is a great place to shop, however Walmart was much better when they supplied American made products which helped secure the countries workforce in local communities.
No one in the garden center to ri g up customer. Things not stocked. Items in walkways. Couldnt use the self check out because purchasing a item that needed a thief tag removed and only two checker open. The employees that were working were pleasant.
A lot of smoke in the area. But shopping was great.

This an original style Walmart, food selection is sketchy... meaning very limited fruits and vegetables.But they have not spared any expense or space for alcohol. Had to go to Safeway next door for most our needs.

The best Walmart workers are at this store. My daughter and her husband and my two grandsons drove me to Susanville to pick up my medications from the pharmacy, an almost two hour drive. The pharmacy understood my problem with the heat and the medication need of refrigeration. And helped me out with an ice pack that keep my prescription cool for the long ride back. All the other Walmart employees that my grandson and I asked for help with finding items we wanted always were very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. Our shopping experience was the best. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I love shopping with Susanville, California Walmart.

This place is irritating, I paid half cash and half on my card, so when I brought my shorts back to return them, they said they could only put it on my card or a gift card. I dont see why, I paid half cash, no reason why the couldnt give me cash back. When the whole receipt totaled about $120. $60 cash, $60 card. Why couldnt they give me the $10 in cash, from my return?? Not to mention that when they did put it on my card, it wasnt available until hours later.

I live out of town and have now currently been on hold for 15 minutes just to ask about a photo order for my parents. This is by far the worst store I have ever dealt with. Wheres management? Where are the associates? Why am I being hung up on 4 times?! My order online stated it arrived may 12th and its now the 18th with not one phone call. Hire smarter people who actually want to do their job.

It is a great store for all ages. Great price s for food products and cloths. Also for tools and oil and other products in your Walmart store. All your staff is great and answer questions best that they can to help the public to fine all products they ask for.

This is one of poorest Walmarts Ive been in.
I no longer enjoy shopping there. I had foot surgery and no riding carts are never available or theyre not charged completelyNo one is ever around to help find an item you are looking for. The store is always understocked and always a mess especially in the shoe department.
I stop frequently when Im traveling, this store is the best. The greeters are happy the store is well organized and clean.
The staff are very friendly but this WalMart is out of EVERYTHING. I went in for some quick errands and walked out empty handed after 20 mins of walking around the store.Their grocery section is tiny because of the Safeway next door. Just go there.

Only two real checkers. 3 out of 7 self checkouts not working. A good 15-20 minute wait in line. But it is the only game around, so they can do what they want.
Its a little crowded this time of year, like every Walmart. But hey, where else could you go to see so many people in public wearing pajamas? Its a great place for people watching, and buying beanies. And, they still have toilet paper!

This Walmart is dismal. Too small, skimpy selection(s), the inventory search on Walmart.com often says they have something in stock when they don’t, and some things will remain out of stock for weeks or even months at a time (even before the pandemic). I only go here when I really need something/on short notice, otherwise I order online or go to one of the Supercenters in Reno. One star for trying I guess, and another star for the several employees who don’t act like they hate their lives.

Blonde hair customer service representative working in returned items had a HUGE attitude! IN THE FUTURE STAND 6FT AWAY OVER THERE while pointing at the carts. I looked and saw no sign over there and then she remarked Thats why I said in the future...Omg, remove that stick from you know where!

WalMart...a WalMart....however...the one in Reno, N.V. has more products! Twice if not triple times as much to choose from....
Staff are usually pretty standoffish and at times outright aggressive towards customers. When obviously over 21 parents are buying alcohol with children, of all ages going up to 20 years old, with them, the checkers consistently attemp to abrasively ID the children which can upset them or cause scenes. Very weird policy that under 21s cant even touch the unopened alcohol to put in the cart, but at Safeway checkers that are barely 18 can scan, bag, and place alcohol in carts. Place is also usually dirty and carts sometimes are covered in mud and leaves when theyre supposed to have been cleaned and sanitized before entering the store.
Usually have what I need, but didnt this time. Knee high support nylon stockings.
Its very tiny, for Walmart. There selection is small, and usually there is a lot of empty shelves/ things out of stock. This Walmart is not great.
Never said I hated it. I think susanville Walmart is pretty cool. Small enough you dont get too tired finding or browsing. Staff are consistently focused on their jobs always, never seen anything rude or odd ever with the employees! Ever! Its always clean, and like I said steady professional environment, I really appreciate that alot being from the area also. Surprises me now that Im doing this review all of the positive and descent things that come to my mind. I have not one thing i can think of negative. Good job Susanville Walmart Emoloyees. 4 stars because stuff gets moved around often and ive spent alot of time trying to find my usual items past few years. Sure theres good reason.

I was really enjoying this Walmart, until the renovation. In the past this Walmart had an excellent fresh fish market. Tanks full of exotic fish. They were delicious! But, with the new update they took the fresh fish away. Bring back the fish market! However I did meet my wife in the hunting section here. Which is why I am giving them 2 stars and not 1.
