Patrick, Heidi and everyone at JAR are always amazing and honest. Never had an issue with their shop and they always offer very fair and affordable pricing. Probably the most honest and reasonably priced auto repair shop in GA.

JAR is simply an excellent Service Center. I am new to the town and looking for a good Service facility for my most loved Subaru WRX. This facility is not just close to my house and also the real deal. Based on all the reviews I took my car to this facility and here I am writing another most deserved review. I am a Certified Mechanical Engineer myself and has good knowledge about Automobiles. For sure these guys are very knowledgeable and have quality technicians & friendly. Esp. Patrick, the service manager is an excellent man. He patiently listened to all the issues I have mentioned with the car and took care of them very well. I felt really great driving my car home. Like someone mentioned already they get it right from the very first time and keep giving their customers best service always. Their prices are definitely reasonable. All their recommendations are aimed at giving the best customer service without making the customer spend money unnecessarily. I really liked it and would love to recommend this facility to all my friends & family. Hell yeah five Stars..

This was my first time using this business. I received a flyer in the mail that day and went right then for an oil change! The young man who checked me in was so nice! All charges and the details of what they would check were made very clear. While waiting I listened to how he spoke to the other customers. He was very professional! He also spent time answering any questions and explaining the service they would need. My car was done in a reasonable amount of time and I was given recommendations for a couple of smaller things. I appreciate that this was told to me with NO pressure! When my car was brought around front to me all codes were cleared including “check tire pressure” that had been on! Lol. I am thankful to have found this place! It’s difficult to find a good shop where you feel like you’re not being ripped off! Thanks JAR… I’ll be back with my other vehicles!

JAR is a great! Our car started misbehaving so we brought it to JAR. Thus began a COVID-times story. The part we needed was not readily available for our not so old Mazda. The computer chip shortage strikes! Charlie and the team stepped up and tried every avenue to source the part from their network. They received damaged and incorrect parts over and over but never gave up. Charlie was always friendly and helpful and communicated all along the way. They did everything they could to get our car running reliably until a replacement part could be found but alas modern engine electronics make for fickle problems. Finally Mazda showed a part in stock! They ordered the part, installed it and voila`!! A working vehicle!Thank you to Charlie and the whole team for your tenacity, persistence, professionalism, skill and genuine care and concern about us and our vehicle. You guys rock!!

I have been bringing my vehicles here for over 2 years now. Lextechs started over selling to my wife on items her Lexus did not need. Patrick and JAR on the other hand tell you straight. Reasonably priced. Work is quick. They could be slammed completely and Patrick will still do everything in his power to help. We moved much further away and I still cannot stop using JAR. Customer service is too good.

This was by far the best automotive repair shop experience I’ve ever had in my life! The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I decided to take my Lexus to JAR after going back and forth to Mtb for weeks due to a botched up job with my power steering. The other shop messed up the air flow and JAR was able to correct the problem in a couple of hours! I will never take my cars to another shop…….never!

Had to replace my clutch on my 2002 Acura, obviously once they pulled the transmission out they found some more items that could be fixed pretty easily and gave me the option to do the repairs or skip them. They were able to do the clutch and a few of the accessory repairs all in one day. Pricing was fair too (a clutch job is not cheap). Also, everyone I interacted with was very helpful, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend.

What a great experience!My 18 year old step sons car wouldnt start. We tried to jump it without success. We called AAA and the driver said he was sure it was the starter. We had the car towed to JAR where they were able to diagnose the problem quickly. It turned out to be a bad cable which they replaced right away. Instead of a long, costly repair we were in and out in no time. I am so impressed with their honest, professional service.

JAR is an Excellent dealership alternative!!!Professional, knowledgeable, courteous and fair priced.I had a transmission flush and oil change performed on my Lexus this morning . I saved over $250 from what the dealership wanted and I had the car back in less than 2 hours.. 2 different dealers wanted me to leave the vehicle overnight for same service. The guys at JAR also updated me on a couple other minor repairs that may be in my future but did not recommend anything that I didnt feel was necessary. Josh and Shad are trustworthy guys... I am glad I found a new shop I can trust moving forward.

Great shop and staff. Even after moving to north Georgia I travel to this shop to have work done on my car. They have saved me a lot of money over the years and have clarified lies/tricks other shops have tried to trap me in. The quality of the work is top notch. The staff is great, they have gone above and beyond in making sure I was taken care of.

July 5 2021. I went to this workshop because it is in front of where I live.I went now in the morning - 7:45 am - to this workshop to change the oil of my 2006 Toyota matrix.I asked them if they spoke Spanish, and they said no. I told them oil change, and they said not today. I think it bothered them that I didnt speak English. They did not attend to me.

Wheel alignment was performed on my car which greatly reduced the shaking at high speeds. Service was fast (compared to NTB, friendly and professional). Price was reasonable at 90 dollars for the alignment.

I love my 02 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and take it to JAR for all repairs. Everyone is very professional and they take time to teach you about whatever service youre interested in. They dont try to upsell you and Ive never been pressured into getting work done that I didnt actually need. You pay for quality work, timeliness, and good customer service and its very worth it.

Everyone at JAR is helpful and courteous. I was able to make a same day appointment and they finished everything in one day. They called to discuss any recommended services based on inspection and offer clear advice on what repairs are most urgent. This was my first time at this shop. I went to this place for wheel alignment on Aug 14,2020 because my car went to the left almost all the time. They charged $94.93,which was reasonable if they did their job but nothing changed. my car still went to the left. When I called them and complained of this, a man there said that alignment was hard for them because there was a rusty part and it might not be alignment itself but something else. Then he said that a tie rod should be replaced for the next wheel alignment costing me $976.Its ok if my car operates properly now after their alignment but they didnt align the wheel. They should have told me if they couldnt align the wheel and charged me only for diagnosis.So I went to another shop for wheel alignment on Aug 24. A technician there said that he couldnt align the wheel because of the rusted tie rod and stopped trying to align the wheel further. He just charged me $30 because he didnt align the wheel. This is fair enough and I thank him for his honesty. Stay away from Japanese Auto Repair.You better not believe these all positive comments for this shop.Update:Japanese auto repair didnt even ask me to sit in the car before alignment,which is dishonest and very unprofessional while the other shop did. All I did at Japanese auto repair was to wait outside for nothing on a hot summer day.

This was a great experience. I usually do my own maintenance, but I wanted to leave the bigger, timing belt job to the pros. Well these guys are the pros I needed. On top of that the prices were fair. They called me all during the process and we actually ended up fixing a couple of leaks while everything was apart that would have been expensive and difficult to get to later. The van is running great now and theres been no issues with their repair whatsoever. They even helped me get the right parts for a repair I wanted to do myself. I will be taking my vehicles to them on a regular basis from now on. For the big stuff, anyway 😉.

I came in thinking that my car had an issue with CV axles and they did a full check on my car and noticed that the tires are the issue. JAR provided me with an incredible experience. The professionalism, cordiality, quality alone of the staff sold me. I came to them because I was in need of some midly extensive repairs and didnt desire to be at a dealership... From the beginning they kept in communication about my vehicle, confirmed my idea of what was the trouble and looked out for me when I feared the most. They even demolished the time predicted to fix my car. Patrick helped as much as he could in the areas he was able to, which put the icing on the cake for how great their service truly is. The greatest part is that my brakes work strikingly similar to new, so Im a happy man. I love JAR!! They are profession, work was done to my satisfaction. The waiting room is great with coffee, water, wifi; all things I needed as I brought my laptop to get work done. The staff is awesome!! I will be using them for my auto needs as they beat the dealership process and the level of service is the same as the dealership. They even have a courtesy shuttle to take drop you off and pick you back up if you cant wait.
