The store has a great selection of craft beers and I had rated it higher previously (one of the best in the area) but on multiple occasions, a staff member has made rude comments. The first time, an employee was showing me some great new beer that had just come in but told me I couldnt have one because it was for him. It was out on the shelf with all the other beers but it was not available for me to purchase. This happened 3 or 4 times with the same gentleman.Secondly, My friend and I went in to pick up a few things before the storm and while we were checking out, the employee ringing us up was extremely rude. At the end when he handed our licences back, my friend mentioned that he was being thorough and the employee responded with a nasty, are you being sarcastic? He then turned his back to us and didnt say another word.Lastly, I was browsing and I heard a conversation between 2 employees who had just come in and were taking about COVID. The one employee said he didnt feel well and had cold like symptoms and they were just out on the floor talking about it. It was a little concerning.Unfortunately, that was the last straw for me.

Vinnin used to be one of my favorite spots for finding the occasional hidden gem, hard to find bourbons. Like anywhere of course it was hit or miss, but if they had something, it was out on the shelf.Its been a while since I saw anything allocated on the shelves here at all, so the last time I went in, I asked if theyve been getting anything lately. Gary, a manager here, told me very matter-of-factly and smugly that they save allocated items for their best customers. Well, if I have to spend my entire liquor budget at a store for a chance at a nicer bottle, Ill take my chances and shop anywhere else where they treat any customer that walks in the door with respect and courtesy.This isnt an isolated incident from the looks of things, several reviews over the last few months seem to indicate that customer service is lacking and customers are treated rudely, particularly if theyre looking for something that is being set aside for the big spenders.

Amazing selection of craft beer.

I just met one of the rudest employees Ive encountered. I gave this place five stars a few years ago, it used to be one of my favorite spots. I asked a while ago if they had allocated bourbons and they told me what they have on the shelves is what theyve got.So my husband and I stopped in there today and I asked if they had anything allocated. The guy replied we give them to our best customers. If you have to ask that question then you dont know our process and you wont get one. I said we shop there often and he told us we have guys in here every day. Glad to know only some of your customers matter - you just lost two.There are other liquor stores that have much more fair ways of releasing rare bourbons like Depot Liquors in Beverly so Ill just be shopping there from now on.

This is a store I frequent. (no judgement here please) I have always enjoyed going there for the variety of products. They have a ton to choose from and I like trying different brands all at great prices. If you want inexpensive, they have many brands to choose from and when you want to upscale, they have you covered. Service is friendly and efficient all around. So at 3:30 pm I hit submit on an order to be delivered. Yes, I exceeded the $150 minimum for delivery and at 4:30 pm there was a knock on my door. (yes, like an hour later) I realize that it may not always be like that but since I had a bunch of stuff I knew I wanted, I thought I would try delivery. Nice guy who showed up, left it on my deck and waited until I came to the door. What more could you possibly ask. Thank you for great service. It is greatly appreciated. Stay safe.

I used to go here because of convenience for a weekend or a holday. I stopped because they are all so rude. No people skills whatsoever. I decided to go by the other day to get wine for a Mothers Day dinner and asked a question, which got blown off, and then the person mumbled some derogatory word under their breath. It doesnt take many skills to work in any business that deals with the public. Whoever the manager is should work on that with their employees. Pretty sad.

This is my go-to place to buy wine. Its consistently a few dollars less than other options, including online. Great selection from all over the world...with a few exceptions (example: theres not much from Burgundy or Beaujolais). Still, this place has the best wine selection + prices on the north shore.

The store isnt fancy, but they sure know their wine, beer, and spirits. Exceptional selection of a wide range of beers. Some really well priced spirits (including the best price for Chartreuse Ive ever seen). While the staff isnt very outgoing, they are very helpful if you get their attention and they are very willing to order things if they dont have them. One of the best liquor stores on the North Shore.
