Dobbs fit me in same day. Everyone I came in contact with was courteous, particularly Mark and Eric! I will definitely be giving my future business to this Dobbs Tire location even though it isnt the closest location to my home.

This was the best experience in a ‘shop’ for awhile. The entire staff was clearly busy. Parking lot full, people waiting, people in line. Everyone I interacted with had great composure and customer service. I also did have to wait, things moved quickly and efficiently.I didn’t have an appointment and they had me taken care of same day for my flat tire. I am very happy with the service!

Fast and friendly service. People really care about you car and are thorough when checking it out. --- this was my 5 star review before we got home and noticed they scratched 2 of our brand new rims on our brand new car. Went back to resolve the issue and the manager was helpful at first but when told we would accept anything but replacement rims he got angry and gave us the corperate phone number but it was the wrong number. We will not be coming back to this location.

Dobbs helped me get repairs needed to my car that were safety issues. Asst Mgr Nathan was amazing In handling my issues.. While I waited, I watched him helping customers with appts, walk-ins and also answering the phone non stop and he handled it all with polite fullness and helpfulness! He is a true asset to the Dobbs organization. Also would like to thank Mark in the service department for explaining everything that needed to be addressed with my car and getting it serviced in a timely efficient manner. I truly appreciate the help and service of both of these men at Dobbs. Valuable employees that made my experience less stressful and I know I will be safe on the road. The service was excellant,but they went through my wifes storage between the seats and took some money.

This morning, I got my vehicle tested at the Swansea location and also purchased my vehicle sticker. When I entered the office to purchase the sticker I was told I would need to wear a mask. No hand sanitizer anywhere. The guy behind the counter did not sanitize anything. To sign my debit card receipt, he handed me a pen that he wrapped in a fast food napkin. His hands looked dirty. Another employee in the office did not have a mask on.Where is the freaking logic??

I’m sure they did a fine job on my new tire installation, even though the car seems to be vibrating when I’m driving so far today, but they left dirt and oil all over the outside of my car on the hood and the driver side door, not to mention a huge grease spot on the inside of the windshield from putting the oil change decal there. Seems a bit unprofessional for such a big chain. I did appreciate them getting me in on very short notice though.

Justin the service manager tries to sell unnecessary repairs instead of listening to the customer. Asked sales member if they service diesel particulate filters, was told they would ask Justin the service manager about it. Obviously Justin didn’t actually look into it and printed me a quote for a new fuel filter. I ask to speak to Justin directly at which point he rudely tells me that the problem is in the fuel system. I then explain again my problem showing him the error code and part in the system. He then rudely tells me that they don’t work on that and I’d have to go elsewhere. Justin is clearly trying to sell repairs to people who he thinks he can take advantage of.

Guys are great and helpful. We will go back again.

I was very pleased with my experience at Dobb’s today. I had a flat tire—had picked up a razor blade. I really thought the tire was beyond repair but was pleasantly surprised that they were able to repair it. They could have easily sold me a whole set of tires as I have an all-wheel drive car, and they already knew I was convinced the tire needed to be replaced. Instead I left there only paying for a $29.99 tire repair. This proves to me how honest they are and completely trustworthy. When they do recommend a tire purchase, I will be totally confident in that recommendation.

Extremely fast service, great prices and friendly staff.

For the past 15 years Dobbs has done all the servicing, tires and other work other than warranty work on our vehicles. Their cost is reasonable and they are always very accommodating and friendly. What I especially like about Dobbs is that they will do thorough inspections and make suggestions for other work, but they dont seem to try and sell other things that may not need to be done. They seem to have an attitude would I do this for the car my spouse drives?

I didnt have an appointment but they were still able to get my vehicle in quickly and get my oil changed and tires rotated and balanced for me in under 2 hours. Great service and the guys at the counter were fantastic as well

Tried to tell us there was 2000$ worth of repairs to do before they could do an alignment, took it to bertco automotive and they had no issue doing what we needed. They were straight forward and didnt BS us. $300 later and were back on the road. Dobbs is a joke and out to do nothing but make money. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE

Dobbs has been our “go to” company for a long time. We get great service, good prices and most importantly peace of mind the job is done right the first time. Doesn’t matter which location we use, the service is outstanding. It’s great to do business with a company that has the customer’s interest in mind.

We have always been so pleased with service at Swansea Dobbs. We had an alternator go out over the weekend. We thought of 3 places we could take it, one was the dealer. We decided on Dobbs because we felt they were capable of the repair, like their hours, and we just like dealing with them better. We dropped it off Sunday eve and it was done by 12:30 Monday afternoon. Car running great. Love them! Thank you!

Had to get a new steering pump and 2 struts. Spoke to store manager Michael Chrysler. He always is up front and very engaging. Got my Traverse back before the end of the day even though the mechanics had a lot of work to complete. Have been going to Dobbs in Swansea for a few years now and will continue to. This place is super amazing! They are always upfront with you and tell you exactly what you need to keep your car in tip top shape. They are very professional and courteous at all times. Justin is super knowledgeable about cars and just as humble as can be! Mike is the best salesman that I know, but he really works with you! They will tell you whats required and what can wait a little longer. Whether you are looking for a shop because your car is acting a fritz or your just needing routine maintenance, I highly recommend that you call these guys!! I bought a used car that broke down the day I bought it but these guys worked with me to get back driving! They went above and beyond and assisted me in ways that I still cant believe! The staff here are always so helpful and friendly. I’ve been to another Dobbs closer to my work, but didn’t like them nearly as well. The service staff tries to accommodate customers and it never feels like they are condescending or out to make a quick buck by pushing unnecessary service.

From start to finish my experience was outstanding!! It started by calling the day before to get a quote on tires. Neil was so helpful with informing me on what tires were on sale and what came with rebates. He took time explaining to me what would be best for my car and warranties that came with each brand. I immediately scheduled an appointment for the next day. Upon arriving for my appointment I again was met with Neil who was just as helpful as the day before. My car was completed in the time frame promised. He then went above and beyond by filling all the paperwork out for my rebate and even addressing the envelope to send it in! I was extremely pleased and will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you for the great service!!

I got a great buy 3 get 4th free deal on some great Cooper Discover AT3s. The store is under newer management and a huge improvement in customer service! Nilsson at the front desk does a great job and I am very satisfied with the work that was done with new tire installs and the alignment!

I took my car in because of a tire going low. I didn’t have an appointment. Michael said he would find a way to work it in. A few hours later my tire was fixed. He is extremely polite and professional. I was very impressed and happy to have my issue fixed.

Needed two new front tires and received excellent explanation of the tires (warranty) and explanation of what adjustments were made, plus when to bring my vehicle for tire check & alignment. I called Dobbs twice in reference to scheduling an appointment for an oil change on a smart car. I asked if they ever have done an oil change on a smart car. The answer was yes. When I got the price I was a little surprised because it seem low, since I know I needed synthetic oil and special filter. I called back the next day, talked to someone different. Same questions, Smart Car, Year, Synthetic Oil, got a different price that seemed more in line with what I got at other placed I called. I told the rep that I had a $ 10.00 off coupon from a Cardinal Game and I asked if I could use it. The final price after discount came to around 65.00 plus tax. I scheduled appointment and to my surprise or maybe not so surprised I got a call from my husband when he dropped the car off the price that I received over the phone was incorrect and the final price after discount was $ 95.00 plus Tax.I talked to, I guess the store manager and explained that I felt I asked all the right questions since I know a smart car is different than most cars. He tried to tell me that the person did not know about ordering a different filter and, and, and. I told him that I called two different times, asked all questions got two different prices and now the third different price. I was upset and told him he has incompetent people answering the phone since I asked all the right questions and called twice to make sure I got the correct service. Well he hung up on me and my husband took the car someplace else.Not my first disappointment at that facility, but I thought I give it another shoot. Needless to say this was the last time. After this, some of my friends told me they had similar experience at that facility.

Called for a tire repair they got me in within an hour found a screw in tire repaired it and I was gone within an hour very courteous staff they are always very helpful

I went in because my low-pressure light came on, the two guys who were working today were very nice. I definitely would recommend this Dobbs location! I was out of there within 10 minutes, which was a major plus after working all day.

Steve is the only reason there are two stars and not one. I have taken numerous tires here to be mounted and balanced. The last couple times have been not the best. Had 4 new tires mounted and balanced for my truck, after pick up noticed they used clip on weights on my aluminum wheels. Thats not good on aluminum wheels so I took it back to have them re balanced with different weights and they did at no extra charge. While there the tech that worked on my truck had a horrible attitude and slammed the door open against the wall every time he walked in them threw my paperwork across counter and stormed out. All in front of customers. Once I returned to my truck found grease foot prints on carpet and on door seal. Steve was nice enough to clean it up an apologize for everything. You can notice where the weights were on my wheels and there are extra scratches and dents in the Wheel. I feel even after I had brought this up as a possible result of clip in weights a manager would have checked for damage. Thought wrong. Will never be back and wouldnt take a lawnmower tire there and have the risk of Tech bad attitude work on it.

Nilssen is the friendliest service rep! They gave us the total rundown of what was needed, why it was needed, and gave us the discounts all the way around. Same day service for brake and rotor replacement without even knowing what kind of car we were bringing in. Will definitely go back!

Last month, my vehicle was left in their possession overnight. When I picked my car up in the morning; it had been left outside all night, unlocked, with the driver’s side window rolled down.Last week I had an entirely new exhaust system installed. The vehicle was returned to me with a loose bracket.I am writing this review from the waiting room. We will see how long it takes to fix lady week’s fix.I have been coming to this Dobb’s location for 15 years. It wasn’t until just recently I began having issues.I can no longer recommend Dobbs. This location in particular.

Horrible service, was lied to about a part that I needed. I was told the muffler had a missing piece. I was told there was no way that it could be fixed without get the whole muffler system. Which would have cost me $442. I looked at the muffler before I took my car there. So, I thought it was strange. The Manager didn’t inform me that I would be charged for just looking at it to get an estimate. $30.95. Saw I asked to speak with the person who looked at my car. A Heather refused my request. I then asked for a copy of the diagram of the muffler system. And just like I knew there was no possible way from the diagram that any part could have been missing. It took my car to Meneke got a free estimate and a 30 minuet job was $80 no missing part. The flange just came loose. Easy fix reconnected pipe bolt it together. Excellent service and job well done. I would never go to Dobbs again.

I have taken my business to this location for years. I went in early when I got off work for help getting ONE luggnut off my cars wheel where the casing was stripped. They said sure they would help and wanted to charge me 80$ of labor for it... Went to Bertco down the street on South belt and they had it off in less than 30 seconds. So at Dobbs you pay 80$ for 30 seconds of labor. I found out today its all about the money for this Dobbs location over valued returning customer service...

Dropped off a tire before work to have it repaired. Within two hours I received a call that my tire was ready. Picked up on my way home. All was good.

I took my vehicle to Dobbs in Swansea, Illinois for an oil change and brake inspection. Initially the service was friendly. I left my car there and returned later to pick it up. Was told I needed brakes (which I expected) but also needed rotors. After taking the car to the dealer was told the rotors still looked brand new. Also, Dobbs had to use my anti theft socket for the lug nut to remove the tire and DID NOT return it. After noticing it was missing I called to ask about it and was told they throw them all in a bucket for customers that do not have one and I would have to come back to go through the bucket. I had to spend an additional $50 at the dealer to have them removed. The most dishonest shop I have ever come across.

I will not be back. I spoke to Nillson and while I thought everything was on the up and up. My price was different than when I called and he lied about printing up an a receipt with the reason why I was getting the tire. Of course he was gone and the other person there was like he shouldnt have said that. Well he did, but of course Dobbs doesnt honor their employees word that would be too much like the honorable thing to do. Car places always put a reason as to why you are bringing your car in when you have service done. They are a bunch of liars and only got this money from me because I was in a bind. Otherwise, I would have gone some other place. I am going to call tomorrow to see if I get another tire put on if they will take their product back. They wont get another dime from me. I plan to walk before I come back to this place. I dont like when an employee says something and then the next one doesnt even attempt to honor it and then gives you a sad, BS apology and expect you to accept it just because you dont have any leverage, power or ability to do anything about it. DOBBS located at 1206 North Belt West 62220 in Swansea has seen the last of me unless they honor their word.
