I really enjoy going here. My mom and I got matching jean jackets for 13 dollars a piece. They look great with dresses and boots.

Staff is always excellent. My kids love going to see Tate the store bunny. And getting my ski on the way out is always my treat

Every place else I checked wanted at least $13 for a 2pk of insect repellent. Rural King had a 2pk of Cutter for $8. Perfect!

We go here mainly for dog treats and toys, the selection and stock levels have been better, but as with everything these days its probably pandemic related.

The cleanest rural king i have ever been to. The staff were very friendly and offering help as I passed by them. My only complaint, is their food options lack compared to Collinsville rural king.

First time coming here. Great selection, really clean store and the customer service was excellent. Can definitely tell there is a good level of communication between managers and employees. Will be doing alot of shopping in here.

Super helpful and knowledgeable employees. They walked me to the area where the product I needed should of been. When we found they were out of stock, I got a welcomed education on generic glyphosate versus round-up. I made the money saving choice for generic. This store was one of the biggest rural kings Ive seen. It was brightly lit and the signage was large and clear.

This store is truly a staple of the area. The animal health section provides the only brand Ill give my dogs, and the staff are always polite and helpful. The repair shop sells Hustler and Stihl specifically, but service all makes and models of lawn care items both residential and commercial. The firearms section is both secure and well manned, which is good to see all things considered. Theyre locally/family owned, and remain one of the few rural kings that still are. I cant recommend them enough.

It was horrible! @ 9:46am Below 1 🌟 star rating. Cashier did not acknowledge us a customer 😒 . We had to ask for bags for our purchase. After reviewing my receipt found out she did not acknowledge the sale price of 30% off. We went back in got back in line. Thier other cashier skipped me, told the person behind me can I help them instead of asking me leaving me still in line to get service. The cashier keep talking negative no output of apology or concerns of ours. Questions of concerns why, because we are of color 🤔 or just poor training and customer service. Management resloved the issue I will go back and hope this will not happen again. Bad bad customer service. If it had not been for management resolving the issue I dont believe I will return to the property.

Customer service suck did not speak at the door. THE WORKERS WAS HAVING A CONVERSATION ACK LIKE I DID NOT EXSIST IGNORED ME .BUT SPOKE TO THE WORKER THAT CAME IN BEHINE ME.

I keep getting expired food by 6months to a year, also expired specialty sodas, thats disgusting Ive been eating this stuff.

They work on Hustler mowers for a very reasonable price, and they do pick up and deliver! I am extremely happy with them.

This location gun shop has the worst customer service, I waited 5 minutes of him standing right in front of me to ask me do I need help. Then he answered in one word sentences, then walked off. He greeted the white guy with no problem. DONT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!

Wide variety of farming, ranch, and general outdoor supplies. A tad higher prices, but maybe worth it to not have to fight the traffic at Wally world

This location is ok. They have got rid of some of the heavy duty tools and parts washer items.

Always good, that being said I cant locate a carhartt coat in any other colors then black or brown I really want a blue or high viz orange not so plane yu dig.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wife went into LOOK at baby chicks and came out with several chicks, a whole new baby chicken habitat and so much new chicken knowledge....now she thinks she can run a hatchery and the worst part is I don’t like to eat eggs!!

This particular store reminds me of food & stuff, it has food and it has other stuff. What more do you need ? The employees are friendly but not annoyingly friendly. They are knowledgeable and have some great stories to tell if you have two extra hours to kill in your day. Also its humongous so a great place to ditch someone i.e. your misbehaving children, a terrible husband, or just an annoying neighbor.

I have worked at this store and the owners are absolutely the best people to work for!!! They are sooo friendly and caring. They believe in customer service!!! The store is very clean and comfortable. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they will try to get it or point you in the right direction!!! They stand behind what they sell. We shop there very frequently!!! Sometimes my husband is there multiple times in a day!!!! True story!!!!

Rural king is the closest thing top an old fashioned hardware store I use to go to as a kid. Free, fresh popped popcorn. A very large variety of just about anything you might need. They are a little pricey, but they do give a veterans discount now.

I will never walk in this location again!!! As I walked into the firearm section, there were two employees and one customer in the area. One employee was helping a customer and the other employee was doing paperwork. No one acknowledge nor greeted me after waiting for over 10 minutes (African American). A few minutes later a white guy walked up and was greeted and acknowledge without having to say anything. I said excuse me and was still overlooked. This is unacceptable and something needs to be done about these types of situations.

Young blonde with glasses and lopped hair cut!!!I was there over the weekend just last week, visiting the store for the first time and I was very pleased with how everyone was treating me. Very helpful staff. I had heard a lot of things about the rabbits back in the Animal Health department and upon going back there to that area I was taken aback by a truly caring employee. She was polite, and seemed to really care about each employee she encountered before she made her way over to me and asked if I needed any help searching for anything I needed.I asked her if there would be anymore rabbits in soon, and she told me she wasnt sure but she offered to take down my information to give me a call when they got some in. I kindly declined and just said Id be back in some other day, and then I inquired about some of the dog food they had in the store. Again, taken aback by the knowledge she had about the different brands of dog food, we even had a small, very informative chat about the rabbits again.Truly impressed with this employee. Total sweet heart, even if she is a little soft spoken, she seemed confident and very polite! Really knew her stuff.As I thanked her for her amazing service she promptly wished me a good day and thanked me for my visit to the Swansea Rural King.I will definitely be back!!! Love this place! 5 stars!

Love the random items you find in the store. Plus the staff is very knowledgeable about their departments. Check them out before going to Lowes, Home Depot or Menards they might be much cheaper on the item you need.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but my cuz had 2 keys made for his motorcycle and the key guy mess both of them up. We then took keys to Dons hardware to try and fix the problem but the guy who did the keys at Rural King had already mess the keys up to were they couldnt be fix. Cuz had bought the blank keys from the dealership for 100$, so that was a lost. What I needed they took care of me.

Such a GREAT store! They have a wide variety of things. I was impressed with all the different exotic jerkys they carry. My daughter loves their complimentary popcorn & enjoys all the baby animals they have during the spring and summer months. Bunnies, turkeys, chicks & ducklings. It doesnt get much cuter than that 😄Their staff is ALWAYS smiling, extremely friendly & happy to help in any way possible. Although they are all equally great. My family favors dealing with Bill. He is truly an all around pleasure!

My mother, aunt, and I were followed around the store while buying fish bait by some racially profiling employee and also experienced rude service from the cashier. Felt really unwelcoming I will not be back. I am a disabled vet of the Marine Corps but more importantly I am a human being and we all deserve respect.

I went there to look at chain saws and the employees were super friendly. I received the assistance that I needed. The gentlemen running the yard equipment desk toward the back of the store was knowledgeable about the products that I was looking to maybe purchase.

There are a few department specialists here that are great resources. I purchased several items and all the supervision helped me with pick up, prices, and thorough knowledge of items.

Always a delight to shop this store. We often just kill time here because theres always something to see.

Good prices in their adds. Just be careful you go to the right one...one is a franchise and one is a company store. The ads are different for each (Swansea and Collinsville). Check before you go to make sure which ad is for which store!

Every time I go, I feel like Im a bother to the older female workers. Especially with my military discount. (I spend $300/mo here) There is a lady with a terrible dye job that I guess is manager. I went to buy flea collars. The collars they had were not marked and under a tag that said $19.99. (Figured that out in 15 min of walkie-talkie)I get them because I didnt want to spend a fortune. I get to checkout and the lady stated they ring up $54.99. She called back and the girl that opened the cage for me told her the price they are ($19.99). She brought the tags up that said $17.99 & $19.99. The bad dye job manager, myself, and the girl who sold them to me went back to look. She told her to get a price on these immediately, even if you put it directly on the item. She didnt even look at me, started walking away saying Im sorry maam, they are$54.99, b^$#@, where?!?! Im not looking for something for free, but Im looking for good customer service. I feel like they dont want my black a$$ in there so they treat me bad so I wont come back. Its one of the most terrible feelings in the world...
