I was in an accident late June and chose to have my van towed here after getting a list of recommended providers from my insurance and looking at online reviews.After a few days they called with a quote for the necessary repairs to which I asked what about the engine. I was told on the phone it’s a light that can be cleared and it’s fine. It’s impact detection. Fast forward 4 weeks. The only communication I received was a text delaying my pick up. Finally I spoke to someone since my rental was expired to discover parts are on order still and the engine won’t stay running.At this point $4000 in repairs are nearly done and I’m told in a recorded conversation with my insurance company that yes he told me that on the phone but in reality he hadn’t even looked in the van yet.I TRUSTED his answers to my questions when making repair decisions for my van. His carelessness in not taking my questions seriously resulted in another $1500 out of my pocket in repairs only to have to get a new car anyway. In the days I had my van back, it rattled like a 17 year old who installed his own subs for music. 2 bolts fell out. The lemonade that went flying during the accident wasn’t cleaned up but now had baked in over the course of the last 6 weeks.I wouldn’t trust a thing he tells you. Shame on me for never having been in an accident before and trusting who I thought was a professional. Instead he saw some body damage, quoted and fixed that so he could get paid and screwed over my family.

After the accident, we thought the Traverse would be totaled. Rick and his team did a PHENOMENAL job and we are over the moon happy, satisfied and excited to have the Traverse back in one piece. It looks as beautiful as the day we bought it on the dealership lot. DeKalb Sycamore Chevy and Collision Center are family now and we will buy again for many years to come. Best body shop I have ever dealt with. I probably passed 30 others while on my way there, for the third time.

The first time my vehicle was fixed by them was because a deer pummeled into the driver side of my van which left quite a bit of damage. When they finished and i got my van back it was like nothing ever touched my vehicle. Great customer service and very professional. I got my van back in exactly the time they said. Now this time i will assume im going to get the greatness i got the first time. Hopfully it will take less time considering its not as much damage as the first time. This time its only my bumper and a small portion of the fender on my passenger side also my washer fluid resiviour that busted when i got backed into.
