Great customer service overall and gets the job done!!! I took my car to get an alignment because my steering wheel was pulling to the left and as they was working on my car they notice it wasn’t my alignment it was a strip bolt in my control arm that needed to be replace. They replace the bolt free of charge! Car is now back riding smooth! Highly recommend!

If I could give this review a zero I would. Theyre crooks and they will give you faulty parts not to mention charge you for things that are not actually broken. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED.

Went in for an oil change and to replace my headlight, he never changed my headligh, but charged me for it. Had a good experience untill now. Probably wont be coming back. Very disappointed.

My cousin went to get his oil changed here and they tried to tell him he needed this and that done with his car that totaled up to 2,000 but he went to get a second opinion and they told him nothing was wrong with his car. This place is full of thieves! Just crooks! All I can say. WOW 🤮

If I could give zero stars I would. This place may be cheap but you get what you pay for. I’ve been here twice and both times they’ve mesed up my tire rotation. The second time they tried telling me no that’s normal. UM NO SIR it’s NOT. The young guy with the curly hair needs more training. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.

Needed a tire rotation and resealing of some of my tires. No one else could get me in on the same day, but they got me right in and had my car finished within a couple hours. Additionally I wasnt sure which were the three tires that needed resealing and they made me a great deal to just get them all done.

Not from around here so called Midas have had good work with them in the past told them I had a bracket break on my muffler to see if they could get it in today to fix and they did. great service quick and looks good thank you guys

Midas always does a great job. I always go to them for oil changes and they even switched out my headlight. Good prices and very straight forward.

Came in because I was having brake issues with my car and was told what the problem was and that it would be fixed for a certain price only to pay them and them tell me the problem is not fixed and there is another issue with the brakes. I should have been notified of any other additional issues relating to my brake service during the service or before the service on my brakes had begun. Meaning the crew did not properly diagnose my cars problem before providing me information on the service to be needed to have my car properly fixed. I will be contacting upper management and the BBB regarding this concern until it has been reconciled.

The consumer service was very poor. The man had a very blunt attitude and slightly rude responses. I asked for an estimate and he claimed that he didnt know and could not find an idea of a total.

Decent quality for the price but they left wax all over one of the tires that was replaced and marred one of the painted rims. Still better than NTB down the street!

I cant rate midas for fixing my car. I stopped in to get a price for an oil change. I was told because of covid-19 that I would have to leave my car.. Come back in three to four hours for a oil change and then I was also told that it is a three to four week wait to receive service.

These guys have always taken care of me I bring my truck here and my daughters car they take time to check my car and ensure everything is in working order. Their work is 1st rate and good customer service. They never tell me I have to get something done like the other places I had been. My daughter sees how good they are and like me will be a customer for life.

Guy named JC said my tranmission fluis was full, I had a bad feeling I took it to another pleace immediately after and it was 4 quarts low

This is my 7th year going here. Ive always been taken care of, and never been lead to fix something that didnt need repair. The owner Bob is a fair man thats always treated me, and my vehicles well.

Great customer service amazing people and super fast

Went there for a simple oil change, when they handed me my keys back my check engine light was on and an a message about a blown taillight bulb, none of these were on when I drove my BMW in to them for oil change. 🤔. Plus to add to this there was not any blown lights or need to check the engine, they triggered my cars history file from the onboard computer to play message, maybe in hopes of me asking for service to fix something I didnt need or that had already been fixed. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Went in for wiper blades and during the courtesy check the technician found a nail in the left front tire with only 19 pounds of pressure. I was headed to the expressway they really saved me from a blowout or tow. Thank you very much. Midas Rocks!!!

Went in to get my starter put in took the guy 10 minutes charged me $94. I go back to my car and my car still doesn’t start on the first try so I asked the manager to see if he could diagnose that would take only 5 minutes and tried to charge me another $94. Mechanic even told me he tried to tell the manager that it wasn’t the starter that was the issue and he didn’t care and told the mechanic to just put it in anyway. Horrible service from the manager. He doesn’t care he just wants to charge whatever he can. At least the mechanic was honest about it,

I found a new place to have my car care.put new tires I had give them and they did it for 80 dollars. Car runs smooth now. Coming back soon for more care for the great prices.great staff too.

Wasnt the greatest

Although the staff was very kind, they took me in for an oil change and did not have any more oil filters left. I was waiting for an hour for them to get one to be able to do the change. After the oil change, I was given a report stating incorrect information regarding my vehicle. They said my alignment was good (I know for a fact it’s off from an old crash) and they also said my wiper blades weren’t torn when both front and back were torn..

Very helpful and honest. Took my car in for a tire balance as it had a shake. They reviewed the car and told me it was the suspension (only 8K on the new car) and I should take it to the dealership. They could have sold me on the tire balance but were honest enough not to. You dont get that often.

Very friendly staff that check you in and take your money. However, the mechanics do jot do good work. I brought my car here and they did more damage to my car and could not fix it after I spent over $700 on the repairs. I then took my car to a mechanic in Genoa and they fixed it for free. I would not recommend Midas at all, but Genoa Motors Auto Repair is WONDERFUL!! Go there instead.

My estimate: Universal Catalytic converter and rear brakes shoes, drums plus wheel cylinder. ($1400) Over charged for the converter found on Amazon for 100 bucks.I get a business has to make money but 600 dollars was labor. Absolutely horrendous. Went in and had them replace rear pads and rotors. After completing the job (the first time) they put the brake pads on backwards on one of the brakes (inside pad was on the outside and vise versa). Brought the car back in to get this issue fixed. After this one of the clips on the brake pad was secure so the pad was smacking the rotor. Took the car to a different Midas to get fixed.

Taken my fleet vehicle here for a hole in the tire and they were quick, friendly and knew how to do the Fleet System. Oil change was quick and painless as well.

My truck is old and often needs parts replaced or fixed, and both times I went to Midas they were professional and helped in a timely manner.

My air conditioning was leaking and Midas took great care of it for me. I had it checked at a dealership who was not able to get to it for a while. Midas ordered the parts for me that day and got it taken care of quickly. Thank you!

Dont go this place. Diagnostic is poor. They made me change my battery and electric cables for $500 dollars and still did not fix the problem. When I went to different mechanic, all that needed was change in the fuse for $10 dollars. It was only a small electrical problem.

Reasonable prices

I have taken my car back 3x.First, thought I would get a simple oil change.2nd. My coolant light is on. They were supposed to check all thefluids.Then they tell me I hardly have any oil in it.I went for an oil change!!!!The they say everything is good. Then back a 3rd time. In less than an hour something is rattlig underneath my carTell me how many more times does it take to get it right?

Always come here for oil change everytime my car needs it...my last visit wasnt so good. Oil everywhere in my engine, dipstick was not closed all the way, came here with no problem and came out with engine lights on and the mechanic trashed my glove compartment for not putting back all together when they checked the cabin air filter. Not looking forward to go back in this shop!. They do a GARBAGE job here!

Ive been going to Bob Nobles Midas for about 15 years. Hes always taken good care of my cars, fully answered my questions and provided advice. The shop is clean and I like the new magazines.

Took my car for an oil change and asked for semi synthetic. Guy told me that semisynthetic oil DID NOT EXIST for my car, even after I pulled up the exact type of oil I was telling him about. Also tried to tell me that my oil filter probably had never been changed since the car had been made. Ended up spending more than twice as much as I wanted to for the oil change.

Yes they are a bit pricey on parts but they are honest about what needs to be done and will take you out to the shop to show you. Remember you get a lifetime warranty on breaks and thats part of the cost of a break job.

Went in to have my brakes inspected and possibly fixed (didnt have much money)..was given an estimate of $ 690 dlls to replace rotors and pads that was out of my budget at the time so I decided not to have the service done at the time,,,I was slapped with a $48 fee just to inspect my brakes,,,it took the mechanic 5 mins to check them how is a 48 dollar charge fair?I have been a customer for many years at this midas location I spoke to Bob the owner and he told me that its their new policy to charge 48 bucks for inspections,,,,will never go back....I left a 50 dollar bill and didnt even wait for my 2 bucks back,,enjoy the last of my hard earned money you will never get my business again....

I would give zero stars if I could.Brought my car in for an oil change, because I had a coupon. Apparently it was for the wrong type of oil change, no big deal, they said it would be a little more expensive. When my car is done, tried to charge me $120. Thats not a little more. After I tried to tell the woman at the desk she was ripping me off, she said thats typical for a synthetic oil change! Ive gotten my oil changed before, I know thats not typical. I recommend Barb City Automotive. Got my oil changed AND a new air filter for ~$75.

Service was friendly, had to bring the rig back a 2nd time to fix exhaust the repaired 3 months prior. Lifetime warranty on exhaust so there was no charge when i had to bring it back.

I really doubt about the 5-star ratings. I would give an ZERO if it is a choice. The last time I went to Midas they gave me an estimated bill of $790. I went to A1 Auto later and they charged me $60 and fixed the prob. My car works well now. Another time Midas charged my husband $122 to just check the A/C and didnt figure out the prob (they just charge u more as they check different parts), but A1 Auto figured out the prob and didnt charge him anything!! The AC works sooooo well now. As an international student in NIU I recommended A1 Auto to all my Chinese classmates. My professor of Consumer Economics also complained that Midas is TERRIBLE and not honest. People should see my commemt because they need to know the truth.

I had a grinding noise on the drivers side front of the car, brought it in and they said that I need ALL of the breaks redone for a total of $690 dollars! Thats insane, so I asked for a written quote and some of parts were marked up by as much as 60% compared to the PERFORMANCE parts at NAPA. DONT GO TO MIDAS they just want to overcharge you. I even asked if they could lower the cost or if there was anything they could cut out and they said it was all necessary. Ridiculous. Just to make it worse they charge $40 to diagnose the car.FOLLOW UP: I took my car to City Auto Repair in Dekalb and they fixed the problem for $20 dollars! They said that the break shield was rubbing against the rotor, so I fixed a problem for $20 that Midas wanted to charge me $690 for glad I got a second opinion.

The worst Ill never take my car there again I dropped my car off in the morning they said they had to order the parts said the parts will be there by 1 or 2 parts never showed up took my car to a real muffler shop

I got an oil change, and after my air conditioning didnt work. I had it on on my way to get the oil change and tried to turn it on the way back home. I went back, but they wouldnt fix it. It might be a crazy coincidence, but it seems that they somehow broke it.
