Best ice cream around! My husband and I came here on a Thursday night for a little after dinner treat and was blown away! They scooped the scoops just right and have a great flavor selection! I personally got caramel mouse tracks and ultimate peanut butter in a chocolate dipped chocolate Cone. My husband got Michigan Mud & Ultimate Peanut Butter in a cup. We were very satisfied!

Went here today the new girl did amazing, Ice cream was perfectly scooped ! We will be back!Love yall!G&S

Amazing ice cream! Good prices. I really love their chocolate dipped chocolate waffle cones. They even put a malt ball in the bottom of the cone. Classic!Pair that with 2 scoops of the mint chocolate chip and you will never want ice cream from anywhere else again.Amazing staff has always been friendly and pleasant to order from. Highly recommend to all people I know looking for frozen treats in Sycamore.

Weve lived in Sycamore for 2.5 weeks and have already been to this cute ice cream shop 4 times. The ice cream is delicious and our dairy free child loves the two vegan options. The coffee float is very yummy too!

Tucked between Shawns and the Frontier building in Sycamore is a hidden gem - Princess Alex Ice Cream Shop.Theres no indoor seating (you can sit outside, or inside of Shawns), but thats fine - its all on the go. Grab a cone on the way downtown, grab a cone to eat in the car, its all good, and a huge variety of cones, bowls, sundaes, malts, shakes, you name it. Stop in for a treat!Prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. The only negative is parking, but you can easily make an afternoon out of Sycamore and park in the public lots.

Loved my time here at Princess Alex Ice-cream shop! This location has a couple outdoor tables and is basically attached to Shawn’s.Personally I’m a hug fan of vanilla ice cream 🍦 and this place certainly doesn’t disappoint. ProTip: add coconut 🥥 flakes to your waffle cone.One of my kids ended up going with the chocolate chip cookie dough (with sprinkles) option and ended up loving it! Very much looking forward to coming back.

We love Princess Alex! Their Blue Moon flavor is so unique and delicious. Everyone that works there is always so helpful. They let you try any flavor, and they all even let you combine two half scoops, if you cant make up your mind.

I was out with my son and we felt like ice cream. We happened to spot this place next to Shawns coffee house in sycamore so we decided to give it a try. I had one of their homemade icream sandwiches. It was the best I have had yet!

A new hidden gem in Sycamore, IL...only 3 months old.This is a small, family run ice cream shop sourced from a local dairy in Belvidere, IL.There were only about 12 flavors (and expanding), but the quality and taste are excellent.I had the peanut butter moose tracks and crunchy caramel pretzel...creamy, with big chunks of fudge, peanut butter, and pretzels.The service was very friendly and they give you generous portions!Some limited seating available in front of the store.Theres a large free public parking lot east, across the street or cheap metered parking street side (1 cent =12 min, 5 cents =1 hr). Lots of cool shops and boutiques in the area, and also Victorian homes. A great place to walk.Open Mon-Sun: 12p-9p

Lots of options for ice cream in the area, but Princess Alex is my sons favorite spot. The ice cream is great, but he loves getting a sample or two. Everyone who works there makes it an experience for him, too. Good stuff.

Best ice cream in town. You dont need to go anywhere else. You get what you pay for and this is top quality. I have made ice cream at home and in culinary school, and I would come back here for that cherry ice cream ANY day. Dangerous for an ice cream lover to live by.
