My appliance delivery was delayed multiple times causing me a lot of issues with moving into my new house and my son starting school on time. Went to customer service and spoke to John. John was patient and understanding, he called homedepot.com and was able to have my appliance rescheduled for delivery. My appliances came on time and my son can go to his new school. We need more people like John in this day and age. Thank you so much!!

This review only pertains to rug doctor carpet cleaning rental. there are instructions posted right on the machine. They state that the machine goes back and forth. This is wrong...it only goes backwards, making rug cleaning very difficult. Next, I was charged an extra $4.95 for damage protection, which is supposed to be optional. No one mentioned this to me, but I was charged for it. The entire experience was the worst ever. I have rented rug cleaning machines from different places over the years, but never had such a bad experience and will never rent there again.

I made a reservation on Friday to rent a generator on Sunday and put down a $350 deposit to reserve it. I am just now getting a notification from them telling me that they rented it out. How do you email a customer 3 hours before they are supposed to pick up a rental and tell them its out of stock. What was the point of my reservation and taking my $350 deposit. They couldnt even offer a backup plan for the inconvenience. Terrible service

Came in and purchased a Honda lawnmower. The associates were all helpful and friendly. Made my purchase very quick and even got help getting the box into my vehicle.

J7st had a disappointing experience. I was at another Home Depot and saw that this store had 4 Airconditioner units in stock. I order one to pickup. Got there they did not have them. 2 store that said they had them and did not. I am out $822 3 ton5 business day till i get my money.

A nice quiet Thursday afternoon is one of the best times to come here. Its in the old Kmart building so it seems smaller than other Home Depots. It still had plenty of stock and sales associates to help wherever I turned.

Very poor service on this particular Home Depot. Bought 2 Anderson Stormed doors. Paid almost $300.00 each door. Pistons not working for the door. Requested for help to replace piston. Customer service really poor. Advised me to call Anderson directly. Why will I buy from Home Depot I could buy directly from Anderson. Ignore Syosett Home Depot.

Tried to return a dead shrub within a year of purchase but was not allowed exchange of same plant/sku w receipt and instead given store credit. A few minutes later I came back to same lady with same shrub/sku but she said again no exchange and then I checked store policy “Returns for purchases with valid proof of purchase will be exchanged, refunded in cash, credited to your account or refunded via The Home Depot store credit (“Store Credit”) as determined by The Home Depot.” So an exchange was allowed! Workers don’t know their own policies! Sad...

I always settle for something there. Never get exactly what I want.

This is a Home Depot express store. It doesn’t have their complete line of products. Shelves are usually bare. Not stocked well. Better off going to the Jericho store.

Excellent service, the store is immaculate, greatly organized traffic, and first and foremost great salespeople—a very personal approach to shoppers by Angelo and Regina. We bought a Maytag drier from the salesperson. We clearly told him that it has to be Propane type but we got natural gas and now we need to do the conversion ourselves. Practically taking the entire unit apart to do this modification. The department, Angelo was very rude and not helpful at all. He practically told us to go to hell! I don’t know what kind of customer training he has received but his attitude and response shocked us consider that we are a very long time customer and this year alone we spent well over $150,000.

They’ve lost a vanity that was supposed to be delivered and cancelled multiple on line orders on me . There are days when I’ve tried to call the store and no one picks up. Fine for small items but go elsewhere for bigger pricier goods. Not worth the frustration and lack of customer support.

One of the worst Homedepot in Long Island NY. No one try to help you, and they hide their products in storage. I cannot find anything in the store, but you can find anything in their online store. Stay away from this Homedepot.

Great selection of household items, construction items. Competitively priced and excellent service. Stores are well organized, clean with wide aisles. Staff is knowledgeable. If you describe the problem, they will take to replacement parts, tell how to fix the problem too. If the parts are not sold at the store, they point out alternative sources nearby too.

I had to rent a pickup truck to move some furniture and the entire process was easy and inexpensive!!🙂

This store is convenient for me and so glad when it opened here. I stop in at least 3 days a week just to browse or pick up something for a DIY project. Always get courteous help when needed. Mostly well stocked even though not one of the bigger Home Depots such as the one in Jericho. Which also makes this less crowded. My go to home improvement store.

Went in just looking for a flooring solution to a horrible carpet in a rental and left with an amazingly priced cover-up carpet. She even gave us a 40% discount for buying a remnant piece. Seems slightly smaller than the nearby Jericho location but usually far less crowded. That means better parking, a better chance of getting help if needed, and faster checkout. Staff is very friendly and unless the store is crowded, readily available. This is my go to location. Do yourself a favor and avoid the nearby Jericho location which, unless its before 7am or after 7pm, is mobbed and lacks parking. By comparison, Syosset is a pleasure.

This Home Depot has some great employees and can be very helpful but Ive also had a handful of experiences with employees who were less than helpful.

Categorically inept people. Placed 2 orders 4 days in advance. One order for fixtures in a bath and one order for various tile. They messed both orders up repeateadly. Surreal experience on all fronts. I can not understand how people with larger orders with numerous items deal with this. The people were nice. Nobody was rude but everyone except for one person were not qualified for the job or any job. Never again. Next time i need anything in advance i will spare my crew the headache and make better decisions than home depot. I highly doubt this is the only store like this.

I am a part time contractor dealt with Lowes and HD depending on area, I placed a large order for all bathroom supplies on line for pick up in store. Online had some very poor 2 person whirlpools as far as quality and no name brand poorly made product. Jason store manager came to the plate helped me get a truck and unload cut my downtime by 50%. After that had a issue with Vanity as well from shipping, 2 week delay not there fault, Charlie and Jason handled like a Pros. End of story kept my customer happy and another bathroom on top of it. With supplies at this time up 30% its nice to know that there Pros like JASON and CHARLIE out there. Thanks, I will keep coming back.

I brought a piece of it to match. Their computer couldnt match it since it was subtlety mottled... two employees spent a half hour trying to get the best match, and even rejected a quart and tried over!another time, the employee in the plumbing aisle was able to give me excellent advice and a fresh perspective on a problem

The Syosset location is the cleanest and most well stocked and organized home depot anywhere near the north shore of Long island. Also has the best parking lot. Big fan of home depot in general, and for Nassau County, Syosset is my favorite location hands down.

Curbside pickup is a joke. Dont bother with it.This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks Ive ordered online and tried to pickup curbside in the car. The first time they never even picked up the phone to acknowledge your presence. I tried calling multiple times minutes apart but no answer. Had to finally go inside to get my order. On this trip they answered and said they would bring it out however 20 minutes later no order. I called again and was told they couldnt find the merchandise even though I received an email earlier that morning that it was ready to pickup, so now they were again. pulling the two items from the shelves. Called again 15 minutes later and was told they would find the person in charge of this order. Another 15 minutes later someone brought out 1 of the 2 items and said they could no longer find the bag of miracle grow soil which is what I really needed. Unfortunately I couldnt get in the store because the line was down the block. It seems this store is overwhelmed with online curbside orders and without dedicated staff to handle it, they are using the same people who handle inside returns and pickup. Need better organization. I have ordered from other Depot and Lowes and had much better experiences.

Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Syosset and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will most likely be going back.

This Home Depot is really good. Went there to buy some bulbs 2 employees came over and asked if I need help. Both helped me and answered my questions.

Found what I needed, quick and easy. Employees directed me to the correct area to find what I needed.

Facilities were clean and well-organized for the most part, but half the employees I saw werent wearing their masks properly if at all. I asked where I could find wallplates, and one employee flat-out ignored me, and another employee directed me to a completely different aisle.

As far as Home Depots go it is okay. It has a fairly large tool rental section and plenty of parking. There is a large plant section too. The interior is pretty worn and needs work but there is a large selection and easy access to the highway.

Bad occurrence : Ordered a pallet of tiles for store pickup. When we arrived the associate said the delivery will not be able to be split up and the pallet will have to go together which was impossible. So we asked for it to be opened so we can have it loaded into two trunks. Two associates brought out the pallet and left it wrapped in the plastic and tied with plastic and Then they went inside. They didnt even help us at all. It took us about 25 minutes to put this all in our car because it was so heavy and additional time because we had to unwrap the entire thing and manage to cut the packaging without a pair of scissors. I guess the associates who work here assume everybody carries scissors with them and is able to lift 32 boxes of tiles into their car. They didn’t even offer to help me. Thank god my husband was inside or I would have just left this shipment there because it was way too heavy.Good occurrence : I ordered a tub from homedepot.com and the shipment was delayed numerous times. I finally received the tub today and it was broken and rusted. After dealing with numerous reps on the phone and being disconnected after 3 hours, I decided to go into the store. Don, the assistant manager, helped me sort thru this big mess with ease and was working with us for over 2 hours to get this situated and to help us with a few other things. He was very patient and very kind. At the beginning of this mess, I told myself I will no longer be coming to Home Depot. After dealing with Don, I will only be returning to this one. Thanks for your help Don!

Very easy to find what youre looking for. They have a feature where you can find what you need online, prior to going to the store, then it will tell you the aisle and area its located in inside the store. Very convenient. I dont go to Home Depot very often, but I needed a very specific bulb and I found in a second online and was given very clear directions to find it in my local store. Brilliant. Staff is also helpful, but with the online directions, I havent needed to ask for anything yet.

The home depot in Syosset next to Syosset Hospital I gave them a five 🌟 star their customer service is excellent 👌 from the time I enter the store, someone asked me if I needed assistance even When I left the store and in the parking lot there are associates out there asking me if I needed help to put my stuff in the car, I said that it was ok when the associates ask me, but the guy insisted when he saw I had some heavy stuff, so I said ok and he helped me, I offered him a tip and he did not take it. I wish I had asked him his name I do remember his face and his Spanish accent, Its really a refreshing feeling when you go to a place of business and you get that kind of service, that really made my day Thank you.

I am usually fine w Home Depot and its a great store, but at this one it took 4 calls to employees and 30 minutes to get wood cut-and there was almost no one at the store. Took way too much time and was just garbage service. They werent mean but seemingly lazy.

Bought from online then ship to this location. Big table.1. They didnt know how many packages were came with the order. They said they will call me when things are all ready but never happened. So I had to go back a couple times. When they brought the boxes out. Cartons were damaged.2. The item came with damage. Went back to ask return. They said they will arrange the carrier pick up and call me which never happened. I had to call homedepot online and waited more than an hour to arrange the carrier pick up.3. Went back to store again to ask whether it is ok to retun to this store, since they used my billing address as pick up location. Person at the counter (Sequiola was the name? on the apron) told me that because it is online order she is not taking returns back, and I have to call the online store to rearrange the process with very rude, disrespectful, and nasty attitude.This is very close location to me but would use Jericho or Huntington for future needs, generally ok but had some experiences with nasty workers here.... cant deal with those type.

Today I went there to buy sheets of Polly plastic there was no one to help me Im 76 years old I had to slide the sheets of polyplastic onto the floor had to try to roll them up was very difficult for me this is the first time this has ever happened last year I bought the same product and there were two gentlemen there that were very helpful to me I was very surprised today and disgusted that there was no one here that was able to help a senior citizen and Veteran Im seriously thinking a finding another place to shop when I went to pay young man at the cashier look at me like I had two heads when I ask for military discount I dont know what his problem was but I was upset with him too

The Home Depot is generally the same as all the others. The cashiers are very pleasant and helpful. The floor help are rude run away when they see you and Hide . When I asked for some help in the electrical department the male employee ignored me finally when I got his attention he said it wasnt his isle and look for myself it should be there or we dont have it! He didnt .even offer to help or get a person to help me. If youre looking for floor help in any of the Isles especially Plumbing Electric flooring and tile they are non-existent hiding or running away.
