Lets start off by saying that I have heard that the staff is nice and polite but I would NEVER step foot in this place again strictly because of the owner Bob. In my eyes he should not have been able to purchase a business from people that spent a long time building up the name cause he is destroying it. He is the rudest individual that I have come across and extremely unaccommodating. I look forward to the next owners cause he won’t last.

Such a greate experience. A wonderful to get certified they have a pool on sight. I had such a good time I went back for more classes.

These guys are great. They love their jobs and care about the new diver experience. Josh, Tom,and Joe are fantastic. Im not an easy customer and they made me feel at ease and now I have the confidence to do anything. They all stayed after the class to go over important things that show they just want you to become a part of the diving experience. I will go back to seascapes for future dives and know that I will have a long lasting relationship with the team at SEASCAPES, on Robbins lane in Syosset.scott

My experience with the shop was overall very good. My 13 year old daughter just got certified there. The facility has a pool to do the pool work. This is very convenient. The staff doing the instruction, including Alex and Eric were very nice. The course work is performed online as it is with all shops.The open water dive certification was done at Glen Cove at East Beach. The dive masters were Bob and Dave. Very nice guys. Dont forget to tip them. Some dive shops have their open wat er cert dive in Pennsylvania.Regarding Bob, I could understand how he rubbed the prior reviewer the wrong way. He is a gruff guy but once you get past that he has a sense of humor and will work with you on the timing of what you wish to accomplish. You can get certified in a week if necessary. So for the convenience of the cert dive, the competence of the staff and convenience of having a pool on site I would recommend the facility.Rick Rutman
