We found an awesome couch! We also got a couple of nice book shelves.. First time buyers here. We loved browsing and found it easy to view all of the available product. It was great to test out the different couches, we changed our mind from one we viewed online to one we liked better after given them both a try. Wayne was the very helpful salesman who answered our questions and helped us fin what we needed when we were ready.

The Syracuse location is closing and moving to the new Layton location. The sales staff are based on commission so expect lots of help. prices on most items are reasonable, occasionally youll find some that are way out of line, however theyve always been willing to listen and match prices to other locations.

My wife and I recently had to replace our cook top and range hood. We went and worked with Kirk in appliances. He assisted us in locating the correct size and price for our needs. We were able to get the cook top the next day. The range hood was more tricky. We didnt find anything we liked on the floor or on the site and he was able to locate a model that fit our needs perfectly. We were unable to get a price that day, but he followed up with us the next day and we were able to get the hood ordered. The cashier and customer service staff seemed friendly enough when I worked with them. We will continue to return to this location.

The salesman, Jon, said the 5 Star Delivery included the assembly of the 3-seat swing deck chair. When the delivery crew (Doug and Zach) arrived, they knew nothing about having to assemble the deck 3-seat swing chair. I explained what the salesman (Jon) stated that the 5-Star Delivery included the assembly and both Doug and Zach were extremely professional about assembling the chair. No complaints on their part, just wanting to be very helpful and fulfill the promise of the salesman (Jon). I love my new mattress but Im still waiting for the delivery of the low profile box springs. The salesman assured me it would be NO problem and VERY easy to trade for a low profile box springs when the standard box springs was found to be too high for me. Its been over a month now and Im still waiting. Ive called the salesman twice now and he assures me its coming any day now, but meanwhile, Im still waiting. Im in the market for some new living room furniture and new flooring, and am now rethinking my plan to go to RC Willey.

He took me to the appliance I wanted, wrote up the order, took my money and sent me on my way. Was a VERY pleasant experience.The price was as competitive as anywhere, and the service was amazing. We were very impressed with the services that we received. The salesman, Isreal, was very accommodating and took us to all of the chairs/recliners that they had that I would have been remotely interested in purchasing. He completely understood me! He didn’t seem rushed to get to his next sale. He took his time and was very concerned with our decision and happiness with our choice. He, even after we decided what we wanted, made sure to show us a few more chairs, just to make sure we were completely satisfied. Helpful store associates who coordinated their time between multiple clients, available as needed and requested. The store was busy but, social distancing was easily achieved, masks were required and furnished to those who needed them. There is an excitement amongst the staff about the new location.

The staff was courteous patient and very friendly. The attendant helped me look at a variety of appliances for our new home and put together a package deal that was affordable and attractive. He even offered to deliver in his truck to my home if I couldn’t fit it in my vehicle. Pretty awesome service.

Went the the Syracuse location during their final days of being open. Everything was sanitized and they handed out masks and gave very detailed instructions of how the day would go and what to expect. Every employee was very helpful and answered all of my questions. They even loaded everything for me and went above and beyond and offered creamies and waters while we were waiting in our car to pick up. Sad that this location is closing but excited for the new Layton location!

I enjoy shopping at RC Willey. The sales people are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices and sales are great. Displays are appealing and draw my interest. The down side are the cashiers. Most of them are not friendly and dont smile. They make you feel like it is an inconvenience that they have to help you. Please give these people a pep talk and a reason to keep their jobs!!!!

We needed to purchase a couch. We looked on different furniture store sites and found that most stores had similar prices for comparable quality. We chose RC Willeys because of their no-interest program for qualifying purchases. We set up an appointment with a sales representative. It was set at a time that was convenient to us. We text him a couple of VIN numbers of couches we saw on the website. When we arrived at the store he was ready to direct us to the couches we were interested in. It was a fast quick transaction. We were then able to roam through another department at our leisure.

They took extreme care to make sure to not hit our wallsor furniture . The installation of our new refrigerator and the removal of the old one was very efficiently done. I actually really like RC Willey. I like their set up. They have great stuff and they have really good deals. However, I wont be using them anymore and nor can I recommend them because they dont support automatic payments. Life is busy and its too easy to forget to make a payment or think youve made a payment, but really didnt. Its almost 2020 people, start supporting automatic payments.

Great experience with one on one shopping with sales associate Joy. She was fantastic to work with and never pressured us to make decisions quicker. All of our items were ready first thing the following morning and all the loading crew members helped load our trailer so we could take it all in one trip. Will definitely shop there again!

I love RC Willey but am unimpressed with this location. The saleswoman we did business with, Jody, in the flooring department is less than pleasant to work with. We’re in the middle of a remodel so we purchased our flooring during a sale, and wanted it installed at a later date, which the saleswoman said would be fine. She then proceeded to hound me via phone call and text message, despite me telling her multiple times to contact my mother as it is her house we are renovating. She also asked if we were “still interested” in having our flooring done, when we had already paid for it? So that was unsettling, feeling like we could potentially be ripped off at any time. She also opened an RC Willey account in MY name, when once again, we put everything under my mothers name, who has had an account with RC Willey for over 20 years, so when we called to set up install it was a complete nightmare for them to find our account. We finally got everything set up with a different associate, because at this point we don’t want to even speak to our saleswoman, and a week later she calls us telling us we can’t get our flooring installed until late August, when we already had an appointment set for early July. When we called back and spoke to a different associate, they were able to confirm that our July installation was still happening. This woman has no idea what’s going on and honestly it seems like she just likes to hear herself talk. The contractor they sent was also rude and annoying. This is not the experience I expected to receive after dropping 1300$, I’ll definitely be making the drive out to the Riverdale location next time I need flooring.

RC Willey customer service was fantastic. We purchased a washing machine through them, because there wasn’t a delay in picking up the product. The same washing machine from Home Depot was 14 days away from being available for pick up. RC Willey had a pick up for the same day.Once we got the washing machine home and it didn’t work and we didn’t like the model. The return process was super easy! They even took my old washing machine off my hands for free. That was much easier than taking it to the dump. Thanks for you great service, RC Willey and Todd Bartholomew (knowledgeable and honest salesman!)

We were trying to purchase lamps during the Syracuse stores liquidation sale. My Dad is a retired employee so my Mom was try to use his employee discount, which caused all sorts of troubles, the cashier was trying to help but it required a supervisor to override the transaction. He was not interested in stopping what he was currently doing to help her! So after a lot of waiting and no resolution we used my account to purchase the lamps without the employee discount! Good thing my mom really wanted the lamps, or we would of just left without purchasing anything it wouldn’t have been worth the Hassle!

Products are always great. I purchased a Lazy Boy, Couch and Oven in the last two months. Only complaint the Call Center charged my card for delivery and installation, but the delivery personnel said they were not certified to install an Oven. I would have brought it in the house myself if no installation.Update: I was refunded the installation and my Oven was brought into my house. Thanks

I came to purchase a refrigerator and a range. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful. As we came back to the range to purchase it another salesman walked up and slapped a sold sign on it. The fridge I was purchasing had no water filter in it. When I questioned the salesman about that, he said that they are quite often stolen. I just didn’t feel that was very accommodating. Maybe offer to take the cost of the filter off the price of the fridge or order one for me?

Great service! We went into buy a bedroom set, found the one we loved, decided to pick up at store and every piece was shipped to the store next day! We still haven’t received our gift card for $50. Make sure you follow up with them for it as I am doing now. Other then the missed gift card everything went perfect and we are so so happy with our furniture!!! I shopped during the clearance sale. I know it was very busy and it was getting toward the end of the day, but I am a customer with money to spend just like anyone else. No one offered to help me. Many employees with name badges walked by, but no one stopped. I found the item I wanted to buy and tried it out for a while. Still no one stopped or checked in. Finally, I pulled the tag off the item and had to corral an employee to assist me with the purchase. He didnt want to answer a bunch of questions, he just wanted me to go to the cashier to pay. I like getting a good deal, but if this had been a full price sale, I would have walked away. Customer Service: Fail.

The salesman was great in finding the fridge we wanted. He needed a manger to get the fridge we wanted from another store. The salesman must have called 10 different people trying to get one and never could get a hold of one, making us and another customer wait for over 45 minutes to just type in a code to finish checking us out. On Saturday we purchased a sectional, a coffee table, a side table, and a chair, working with a salesperson we thought was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the furniture itself, as well as the services that came along with it such as the removal of old furniture when the new items were delivered.Today our furniture was delivered and I was informed that they, in fact, do not remove the old furniture upon delivery of the new items. I let them know that we were informed by the salesperson we were working with that this service was offered. They again stated that this wasnt true, but that they would call their manager.While they continued on with moving the furniture in, I called the Syracuse R.C. Willey to speak with someone about the issue. Customer service transferred me to the shipping department. I informed them of the situation and, after putting me on hold to speak with the salesperson, stated that the salesperson never told me that. I let the shipping employee know that my husband was also there at the time of the purchase and can vouch for what we were told. He again argued that we were not told that information. As it was apparent that the situation was going nowhere, I requested the phone number of the store manager. I was placed on hold and transferred back to the main line where I had to again tell customer service the story and request to speak with the store manager.I was finally connected with the store manager, who was very apologetic about the situation, but did not offer any assistance in fixing the problem.So, now we have two couches sitting in our living room and we are left to figure out what to do with the old one. I suggest that anyone who decides to purchase items from R.C. Willey not only double verify what is said, but also get it in writing. This is NOT how you treat customers if you want to get their continual business.

We recently purchased a bedroom set for our daughter at the Syracuse store closing sale. My husband spent 90 minutes at the Customer Pickup waiting for our order. Car and truck pulled up and left before his departure. No employee asked to assist him. The bigger RC Willey becomes the more the service drops. Sad to see the old store be replaced.

My sister and I took our dad in a wheelchair to select furniture for his assisted living. I have been to RC Willey many times, but never wheeling someone in a wheelchair. I understand its an older store, and will be closing, but I wouldnt wait for the move to change some dangerous features.Entering the store with a wheelchair is challenging. The worst part is the steep ramp with a column at the bottom. You really should do something about that before a tragedy occurs.Our salesman was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Not pushy at all. The best salesman weve had at RC Willey.

We we’re greater by the very friendly and helpful lady just inside the doors who pointed us to the area to find what we we’re looking for. She also located Wendy Frampton for us who responded quickly as she always does. She helped us with the item we wanted including a discount and all the paperwork. We have worked with her many times and greatly appreciate her. The end table we purchased fit perfectly in the space we have have and looks awesome!

Another swing and a miss! I’d give them a zero if I could. I’ve had bad experiences each time I buy something from here. It has been years, so I thought I’d give them another chance.We ordered something, had it confirmed for the day we wanted it delivered. I called personally to confirm and spoke with someone two days before we scheduled delivery. We were promised a 2 hour window the night before and a phone call 30 minutes prior to delivery. We got neither. I also asked the lady helping me to update my account and phone number. She said she would. That didn’t happen either. We made special arrangements to have everything delivered that day, and they showed up without a two hour window and without a phone call. They did call after arriving, and also called the incorrect number while my wife was taking kids to school (which is of course when they came). They claimed a second attempt. 15 minutes later, just before my wife got back. Their customer service has been nice, very pleasant, but I might as well have been talking to a wall. They say we will just have to reschedule. I finally relented and told them to come the next day, but couldn’t during a certain time frame. So what did they do? Sent my delivery time smack in the middle of that time frame. I slow clap for them. So I had to find coverage at work so that I can be home when I said I couldn’t be home.Good business practice would be for them to admit their mistake and do what they can to make it right. They only half admitted any wrong, but worse, did nothing to help make it right. All we wanted was our furniture delivered. And at a time when we said we could be home. Too much to ask when you pay $59 extra for it?!? It’s like they think the whole world sits at home all day waiting for their deliveries and doesn’t have jobs. Yes, I get it. They deliver in geographical areas and then leave. But when I didn’t get the first two hour window, and they screwed up, they should at least have the decency to try and deliver the next day when I said we could be home. I even gave them several hours worth of delivery Windows. But they ignored that.I loved some office furniture they had there and thought I’d wait to buy it all until after seeing a positive experience. Glad I waited. I will never do business here again, unless they call me up and are willing to make this right. A VERY small start would be rebating my $59 delivery. Five star delivery? I don’t think so. Half a star, tops.I do acknowledge the fact that I’m the dumb one for giving them another try. Idiot!

Fred Duran was amazing at helping us pick out a new washer and dryer. He has a lot of knowledge and was very professional. We are so happy with that fact that the delivery fee includes you guys taking our old machines.. it made life easy. We will definitely be back. I have shopped here for years, for a reason. To start will you can always depend on them, they have great quality in everything they sell. They come out and install everything, without me having to worry about anything, and they take my old stuff away, one less worry for me. You can actually talk with them over the phone and explain what you need and what you are looking for and if it’s not on there floor at the moment, they’ll go through there catalog and give you some options to think about, and they’ll send the link so you can check it out, for yourself. All from talking with them on the phone (no hassles) there is just nothing bad to say about them. It’s my go to store, for so much, for years! I love them, Have fun shopping.

Todd Bartholomew is amazing! My washer died and the soonest available delivery date was 1 week away. He called me the next day (his day off) to let me know it was on the truck to be delivered. I received my new washer and dryer exactly 24 hrs after walking out of the store. He has definitely made me a repeat customer.

I like shopping for furniture, electronics and appliances because you can usually find the items youre looking for. This time around however, the items we wanted were on back order and we had to wait 10 days for them to arrive. This just didnt work. Were went elsewhere and found the same items. They were able to deliver and set up the next day and delivery was free. I wish R C Willey could do this.

The salesman and selection were great. There was a little problem with the removal process for our existing fridge but it was resolved. It costs us much more and we had to wait an extra 5 days. Other than that, I’m sure we’ll like the new fridge.
