Amazing service and the work done was exemplary.I came in with two posters, and I was treated as if both were gallery pieces. The owner was accommodating when I mentioned financial restrictions. Im only vaguely acquainted with fine-art framing, but the owner patiently helped my intimidated self along the way.Her eye is keen and exceptional; that cannot be stressed enough. I also appreciated that UV-blocking glass was the only option available. The photos Ive included with the review barely do the works justice.10/10, will take all art there in the future.

A bit late posting this review, but I had a great experience getting two pieces of art framed. I brought a piece I had previously framed in another state with me and was hoping to get the two new pieces framed to look cohesive when i arrange the three pieces together. Stacia contacted the business that framed the piece I was hoping to match and tracked down and ordered the exact frame they used and got the measurements for the three kind of mattings used and was able to replicate the exact framing I had done before. Definitely would recommend coming here if you need something done :)

Fantastic shop with a huge variety of framing options and very knowledgeable people running the show here. They helped my wife and I frame up some comic art and they turned out beautifully. They even helped me finish a framing project that was started by another framer. I will be back for more.

They did a fantastic job mounting a family heirloom for an anniversary gift. It was clear that they were very knowledgable on how to properly preserve pieces. The finished product far surpassed my expectations. They had piles of options and were helpful in generating advice to get what I was looking for. Worth every penny spent.

We had a sentimental piece of framed art given to us by very special friends many years ago that had come framed. Although we really never liked the look of the frame we left it alone as it hung in our home. By accident I knocked it off the wall and cracked the glass and that became the impetus for us to take a look for a framer in our area to either replace the glass or fully replace the frame. Ive had Tacoma Frame Makers make frames for 2 posters for me. Each of them was exquisitely crafted with an accent colored interior frame to match the poster, and a black frame around the outside. A picture hook is included to mount on the wall as a convenience. The consult was easy and friendly, where we discussed the type of framing I wanted as well as accent colors. Tacoma Frame Makers is conveniently located of 6th Ave. I am extremely pleased with the results, and I have many more posters and pictures I have planned for them to frame.

Excellent service and beautiful frames. I had a couple of concert posters framed about two years ago and they have held up wonderfully over two moves. Tacoma Frame Makers is a wonderful little shop on 6th Avenue. Its a small locally owned and operated frame shop with great vibes. The owner Stacia is very helpful and can create and design her way through any of your framing obstacles. TFM has always had everything I needed and if they didnt, they can order it. They even do custom installations. The quality of the work and framing is high and carefully crafted with love and intricacy.I randomly walked in one day after a few other places in town couldnt help me with an oversized mat board. Stacia was able to order me exactly what I needed. Being an independent artist, its nice to have local businesses that care about what you do and how you do it.I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend this store front if youre looking to have something framed or looking for something unique.
