I have asthma so I didn’t have my mask on when I enter the store i had just stepped in The lady in the pink began to yell at me that I need to put my mask on when I asked her with some Sriracha (not sure how to spell that) I was really confused because there was a guy right in front of me they didn’t have his mask on and they were ringing him out not saying nothing I asked him why he didn’t have to put a mask on they just kept yelling that I needed to put a mask on. I then tried trying to play for the hot sauce so I can leave. They wouldn’t accept my card. Finally I had cash so they couldn’t do nothing but ring me up. Definitely a racial issue since I was the only one that was a different race. Wouldn’t recommend the store at all. The bakery next-door was the complete opposite I would recommend the bakery

I enjoy a Korean store such as the Boo Han Market. I can find all the ingredients I need for the Korean recipes I enjoy.

My moms from Japan and weve been shopping at Boo Han since the early 2000s. I still shop here often but my mom usually stays home.I like the instant curry, kimchi, and different rice crackers. The store carries a lot of great food in the frozen section - my favorite is the edame.The people who work here are nice. I really enjoy shopping at Boo Han Market!

Definitely an experience and while its small and a little less stocked than expected its still good for Asian food goods

Boo Han Market center Has been one of the main shopping centers Stores in the community for several years. They always have a great selection very good prices and never disappoint with their great customer service.

This is our to go spot for groceries. It can be busy at times but thanks to the fact that they added more self checkout machines makes the line go pretty fast. Best time I would say we see less people is after 9pm and later.

Every person who works at this store behaves like customers are nuisance, always impolite, rude, starting from top management, male employees, female employees, EVERYONE! When I was at their store last weekend, the shelf was out of the item I was at the store for, walked to the other side of the store to find the store employee. When I found him and explained the item I was looking for, he gave me a mean look, yanked the ad off my hand, didnt acknowledge what he was going to do, just started walked off towards the shelf, and handed me the product with such a rude manner. I also dont like the fact that their packages of meat are always excessively too large. I live by myself and dont need to make 3-4 pounds of bulgogi. And if I asked for them to re-package a smaller size portion of meat, they tell me that they dont do that. Therefore, I am rating your store with 1 star and wont be going back. Boo Han, you guys are no longer the only Korean store in Tacoma.

The lady there is pretty nice but there is a short man and he needs to be fired or something. He doesn’t know how to treat customers, he scanned something wrong so we told him and he has some kind of anger issues or something he wouldn’t fix it. And then we were gonna pay the ¢.60 with coins and he wouldn’t let us without even explaining why and were like okay then and took out a card to use and he was asking why we weren’t hurrying up. We felt such disrespect we just snatched the receipt out of his hand and he was like “what?” he has anger issues, no respect, and doesn’t know how to treat other customers, he needs to be fired. And also, we bought some pumpkin yagua and it was moldy so we called to tell them and they weren’t even apologetic about it.

Boo Han is Tacomas first big Korean food market. It has weathered the bigger Paldo World and later Hmart. Yet Boo Han is still here. It remains quintisinually a korean mart while the bigger stores are closer to supermarkets like Safeway. The original family still own and personally run the store. I personally like their small meals and condiments sold in the back of the store. Come early or you will likely find those items sold out 😦.

They selling things very reasonable prices then others n hopefully they need to remodeling inside of floors.

Love it!!! I dont know much about the food or culture but any questions you have are very welcomed. Which is great seeing how I want to learn. The people take time to explain and even suggest new items to try. The prices are awesome on produce and some of the freshest I have found. They have more then just a grocery shop inside they also have a bakery, video store, food court, household goods, clothing shope, beauty supplies and a eastern pharmacy. If you are looking to branch out in cooking skill this is the place to go, you wont be disappointed. Lots of healthy yummy foods to discover await you inside.

Great place to get your Asian groceries, best prices too

I was just there and it was my first time shopping. The guy who works there, he said he was half-hawaiian and half-caucasian, told me I looked pretty and asked if I wanted a side boyfriend, and proceeded to ask for my number and to take a snapshot of my breasts. I took off fast.

After living in Korea for two years I fell in love with the food. I didnt think I would find much when I got back I the states, but Boo Han Market has an excellent selection of products from Korea. I love this place! My family and I shop here all the time now.

My old faithful go to Korean market since 2002! It might not be cool like Hmart or have a food court like Paldo World. I like the store because I know where everything is and veggies are super fresh. I still go other markets for stuff or brand Boo Han doesnt carry. Oh, people are super friendly and been there for long time which tells me good management!

This is the original Korean market! If you have a friend that lives (or lived) in Lakewood they have been here. Its still feels very much like home and the people are really nice. I love this place

Dont call looking to talk to someone in English if youre looking for Asian ingredients and need to find out if they carry it. I realize this is an Asian market but does not mean the people that answer the phone should not be able to speak speak English, the primary language of this country.

It is the oldest Korean Mart in Seattle and is generally cheaper compared to other Korean Mart. Vegetables in particular are cheap and fresh, so its a little far from home, but its definitely a place to go once a week.

Cashiers with short hair wearing glasses are very unkind!There are a few things that this person experienced. Once in the morning, I visited and cashed back while checking out. He muttered to listen on purpose. At that time, I was so absurd that I couldnt respond and just came out, but if I only pay for that person, I would be unpleasant.Once in front of my line, the customer and the friend were calculated, but they didnt go there for a long time, and they had a chat (?). Even though there are customers in the back, I don’t care.Once again, I paid for the bill and put the stuff in the bag, but I asked for a little bit of stuffing because I was so careless with a thumping sound (and that too many times).If the neighborhood is narrow, its narrow, and if its big, its a big neighborhood.I dont think thats the only thing I have experienced. Please train that employee properly. He is a person who has a very bad habit of not thinking of others and just saying unpleasant words out of his mouth.

When I called to ask for the price of Chinese cabbage radish, Mr. I! Really!He said this... After that, you told me how much cabbage and how much... I dont think you should do that even if its hard... I came from a distance and grocery shopping and it hurt.
