What a disaster. Panic button failure tripped my alarm three nights in a row resulting in late night phone calls. Initial response was tech will respond in 4 weeks. After pushing back i was told techs only come to my area on Wednesdays. After pushing back again because when the alarm failed, it left my business unprotected. They finally agreed to come the next day. The tech showed up with out any parts, He was able to remove the failed part and leave the alarm working. But my cashiers had no panic button. Return was rescheduled for 4 weeks out without calling me. I had another failure at a second site 2 weeks later. I called and again pressed for quick response. After 2 hours on the phone it was agreed a tech would come out again the next day. I asked to be sure the tech had parts and batteries. The tech showed up the next day with no parts and no batteries. He wanted to come back later again. I said I had been waiting weeks and needed it today. I tried to escalate again and left messages for a supervisor and local office who never called back. The tech finally called his supervisor to get permission to buy a battery from a local hardware store. I ended up talking multiple times to customer support and to their scheduling department. They do not support real time escalations and I left two requests to have a supervisor call me back during this time. No call ever came. It did turn out that the two panic buttons did fail due to dead batteries. I find it hard to believe it took 3 weeks and two trips out with techs that did not come with parts or batteries to fix my sites. By far this is the worst support experience I have ever had from a company period. Unfortunately, there is not much competition in my area, So I am not sure If I can change companies.

Wow... I have been a customer with ADT for over 14 years but I have NEVER had worse experience than dealing with ADT. Good luck ever trying to speak to someone on the phone to help you with anything. We recently had an ADT service to change our batteries since some on the sensors had started to fail. The service given was so complete because the guy was so knowledgeable about the system. He even told us that sensors, when bugs crawl over them will see them as intruders and send the alarm. Now we know why weve had false alarms in the past. No more ghosts setting off the alarm.

ADTs services are top notch and dont break the bank. Anytime that I have needed anything they have been responsive & helpful. Im very pleased with ADT!

When my wife and I finally stopped our landline service, we also decided to cancel our ADT alarm monitoring. Our 31-year old Legacy System wasnt compatible with the new technology. I have to Strongly commend ADT Senior Customer Service Manager Jean Frederique, who very adroitly kept my wife and I as a 31-year ADT customer, instead of losing us as some other ADT reps were perfectly willing to do. So, instead of canceling our ADT contract, we ended up with a completely new system at no cost. Our new system was installed by Garrett, who is an outstanding ADT technician! He not only knows the systems like the back of his hand, he is able to communicate that knowledge in a very easy-to-understand manner. Garrett also listened to our preferences, adjusted his work plan to accomodate them, and never once employed the hard sell tactic some companies seem to favor. Our new system is much better than the old one, is very User-Friendly, and significantly enhances our home security.Jean and Garrett should definitely be considered for ADT Superior Customer Service Awards for their outstanding performance!

I have been an ADT customer for over 5 years, and I have always been happy with them. Recently I have started working directly with Stacy Frazier (we’re moving) and she is simply amazing.I have so many moving pieces happening right now, that’s it’s easy to forget what’s been done vs. what’s next.... but Stacy has followed up with me, and in a completely none invasive “oh my screen is loading- can I interest you in some security cameras too while you wait?” kind of way.She educated me on what I already had, and what, if anything, we could do to make it better. Stacy is understanding, easy to talk to, she looks out for your best interests, and works to come up with a system that meets your needs and budget. It can be so frustrating to call a big corporation to receive help or get service, but Stacy helps to facilitate and advocate for you as well. It was such a breath of fresh air to be connected with her, and be able to accomplish the set up without any problems. We really felt taken care of and appreciated her time and efforts so much.

Can I give them a 0? I had three new items installed and it is unclear if any of them are working properly. Further, ADT cant send someone out to fix them for three weeks! Was given a total run around by three different customer service representatives. I am looking at the competition after being with ADT for over 20 years.

Had a great experience working with Stacy Frasier, David Evans, Joshua Mollenkopf, and Kevin Thach. We have a big house that is very well built and the team was able to design a system that worked for the idiosyncrasies of our home. The install crew busted their butts all day at our place and everything works like a charm. I could not imagine a better experience from soup to nuts, great working with the team.

We have had ADT security services since 2013 and have been completely satisfied. Very reliable security if and when we ever need it.

Just last friday, i was told that the tech person would come to my home from 4pm to 6pm. Waited and waited, received a call at 6.30pm and said he couldnt make it. Now I am on the phone with them but after i explained the situation to them, they put me on hold for 10 mins and then re-routed it to the main line.

Just had someone come to my door to sell me ADT. Not only does it already show in our window we have a security system already but who does unsolicited door to door sales during COVID? To top it off, he kept his mask under his chin and never put it on. We thought of getting ADT but didn’t and this just proves we made the right decision.

I really appreciate how easy ADT made my transition to my new home. They helped me save so much money with discounts as a Veteran and a USAA member. I feel very safe and comfortable with this security system. The process of getting my security system connected went very smooth. UPDATE 2/22/2021I am now a very happy customer after talking to the right people and finally getting some solutions to my ongoing ADT issues. Leaving as 4/5 now but if all goes well with no further issues would change to 5/5.I was able to speak with a local ADT representative who was willing to listen to my experience and help make things right with my ongoing doorbell issue. During this 2nd appt they replaced the doorbell entirely and so far I have not had any further issues or concerns related to the doorbell. It seems the first one installed was faulty.The technician that day also encouraged me to reach out to account management to exchange the shake sensor for a glass break one. During this call I learned I qualify for a military discount through USAA and was able to make an appt for the install of the glass break sensor.Unfortunately it seems it took having an upset customer before I was able to get results and reach someone with ADT knowledge. Now that I have, Im a much happier customer!-----UPDATE 2/15/2021I was able to reach the billing department and they corrected the $50 charge placed on my account by refunding me $25, to equate the original charge on the invoice I received from my 2/9/21 service appt. The agent also stated I should not be charged for a second service appt since it is related to the same unresolved problem but if a charge occurs I will have to call to get it refunded on my account.A customer service rep has also reached out due to my negative review/experience detailed below.‐----Original Review: 02/14/20210/10 do not recommend ADT TO ANYONE!At a recent service appointment an ADT technician visited and instructed me to replace the transformer which he felt to be the issue in supplying power to my ADT video doorbell. This was replaced and I was still getting low battery notifications and the camera not recording motion consistently.Furthermore, as part of my system I had shake sensors installed and a motion sensor was included. I was told by the installation technician that my cat would be no issue and not set either off. Within a few weeks I had a call at work because my cat has jumped on the sliding glass door while watching a bird outside and set the shake sensor off. The result of my experience, and to avoid a local fine for a false alarm police response, is that I bypass the shake and motion sensor at all times.I am beyond frustrated with this company. They would not even guarantee that they would not charge me an additional service call charge with my second doorbell appointment and instead said its up to the technician. In addition, the email notice I received from my appointment states a $25 trip fee, but I have a $50 charge on my account!

Worst customer service ever. They forgot equipment on initial install, misquoted prices even though we were using their own promotion flyer. They were supposed to come out now 3 times to finish the install today being the 3rd time. Each time theyve spoken with my wife, they couldnt reach the tech. So now again waiting for our 4th appointment next week. As a disabled Vet that works Graveyard shift I am extremely displeased with how theyve treated my wife, and how poorly theyve treated our family. There should be an option for NO STARS. Id say if next week if they dont show up, they can get their equipment, but they cant even show up to finish an install so..... What then? I know I know Ill receive a response saying please email us with this review at [email protected] blah blah blah email. How about you reach out to me Justin Ruiz instead, look my account info up. I was very impressed with the installation and training I received from Ken Ellison. He was very professional and was quite efficient in installing the alarms on the doors. I was pleased that the alarms are barely visible from the inside; Ken knew just where to position the alarms so they did not distract from the doors. The ADT system is simple to use and provides the security we need when away from our home.

I have had the worst experience with ADT. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their salesman will lie to you yelling you one thing and then customer service tells you another. I spoke with 4 different people and every one of them speaks like a robot. They wont answer your question otherwise than what their computer screen tells them to say. I will be canceling my home and business service with them asap. Absolute crooks!

What a great experience! Moving in to a new home with previous ADT service. Michael Sloniker was our technician. We were given an 8 to 10 am service window and Michael called us at 7:45 am to let us know he was available. Professional service from the moment he arrived. After a warm greeting, Michael laid out his plan for system review and got to work. Along the way he provided updates and had us walk through the steps on the website and our ADT app. We expressed some concerns about access points and Michael quickly put together an equipment recommendation and made it happen. They lied to me during the installation process and refuse to let us out of contract despite a technician reporting that the service does not work as described! Since then several technicians have been out and it’s still not working properly! Save your money and time by going anywhere else!!!! I signed with ADT through authorized dealer Safe Haven and felt suckered. But i recently added cameras and dealt with ADT directly instead of Safe Haven and it was a much better experience. I feel confident knowing I have a good team looking out for me. The consultation with Regina was very informative, helpful and professional. The installation tech The was upfront and courteous. After his assessment, he gave me options to see what I wanted and was able to meet my needs. It wasnt rushed and I didnt feel suckered. I also met two more members of management when they dropped by during the install. I ended up paying less than what i was quoted and can reach any of them directly if need be. An honest and good team!

I called ADT for a price, they gave me a $27.99 promotion price without telling me that the requirements are to have a Land Line. The installer was more than half way through installing when he handed me the contract to sign, it was for $59.99 I disputed it and he called his Manager, he told me he would bring it down to $48.99 and he told me that I can cancel within 3 days and that there would be a department called Heroes that would be calling me. They called me but said they were working on getting this resolved, my time lapsed to cancel, I have called Customer Service regularly and they refuse to work with me. They are extremely rude and though I called corporate, the person at Corporate told me that they submitted a ticket to Defender (ADT Authorized Contractor) and that I would be receiving a call back within 24-48 hours but I never received a call. I am now having to suck the early termination cost. Id rather do that than deal with such a company.

WOW, was I ever immpress with ADT call center as well as our local ADT office. I had changed out my router and needed assistance to get my ADT system (gateway) back online so I called in and was schedule for a technician several days out. To our surprise we received a call from ADT service center asking if we would like to have a technician here at my house within the next half hour...Of course we excepted. The Technician Derek Y was very courteous and a pleasant young man that helped fix my issue within minutes. What a pleasant surprise for everything to fall in place and be back online. In my opinion Derek is a definite asset to ADT! Thank you Derek.
