Customer service sucked, not enough employees. Shoes are name brand, reasonable and quality. There is also a wide choice of sports and camping gear plus some Seahawk 12 clothing.

They are remodeling, so expect a bit of a maze to get to different areas of the store. Not very impressed with the product knowledge of the staff 😕

Its a small store. Employees seemed to be quite helpful. In & out with ease...

Went into try to buy some slides and I went to the shoe section the guy said they didnt even have any slides but then when I had to return something two days later I saw slides over by the registers so a little disappointed that they didnt point me in that direction when I initially was there a little high for me but they seem to have a lot of things on sale but it was still fairly moderately expensive. They did have quite a large selection of sporting goods and outdoor things from awnings to camping stuff exercise stuff just all kinds of stuff.

Decent sporting goods store with a good selection for its small size. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of parking.

Decent prices, they usually have some type of sale going. Was in and out for me. The employees were helpful.

When I was younger I used to go to big 5 sporting goods all the time to get shoes. Unfortunately nowadays it has calmed down by quite a bit and their selection has diminished severely.

I wish could give ZERO stars for the poor customer experience I had at this Sporting Goods store. Limited selection everything out of stock! I travel from location to location for a simple exercise bike. I called this location myself to see if they had it. They said yes and I told them I was on the way (they took my name and put it on hold). After travelling there (20miles) they closed in the middle of the day. This is probably one of the same businesses BEGGING to open now theyre close there own doors and knowing a customer is one the way (The right thing to do would have been to allow at least me to come in and make my purchase since they knew I was coming). So at the front door I called them again and said I was there remember me? They lady said she wasnt the one I talked to... I said, Someone took my name down, for a bike I had on hold, she was extremely dismissive about it and kept telling me the store hours... THE STORE HOURS OBVIOUSLY DONT MATTER. This company will NEVER get my MONEY. I always try and buy from small business first but now a day it hard to want to... They give you every reason you need not to. These are the same companies that complaining about Amazon, and Walmart too. CRYING about buying local small business but then shut their doors in customers faces with no explanation. Heres some ADVISE if you want to compete with the big companies, and survive these times were living in then you should provide GOOD customer service at the very least! THEY DONT WANT TO WORK!

The staff was very friendly AI picked up a pair of boots and they were hard to find the lady never give up she continued until she found them and give me what I needed I would highly recommend if youre looking for sneakers whatever gives them a try

I called and asked if they had any boston valves . And I was in luck they had one left. I asked if they could hold it for me until I got there. I got there and was bounced around to 3 or 4 associates each seeming to care less than The previous. Then they just kept appearing and saying let me go check them someone else would show up ask and act as if they didnt know what was going on. Im pretty sure they were just messing with me out of boredom is the only sense I could make of my interactions. This seems to be pretty typical for tacome big 5. My advice is to anyome is to avoid this place st all cost. Inwill pay more anywhere else just to avoid this big 5. They never even offered to say well lets see if we even have any on the shelves they are located over here. Just no we dont have it in back sorry. Go to docks tbey are 10× better@

Big 5 is a reliable discount sporting goods store. They have name brand gear at reduced prices. This store is always well stocked and has friendly, helpful staff. Big 5 is a great place to get athletic shoes. They have sales ads every week. Look for their $10 off coupon in the ValPak mailer each month.

The staff was attentive and helpful when I was trying to find the right shoe. I went through five shoes before finding one that fit well. While I was there, I got asked about whether I needed help four times. Prices were fairly good, and I did leave with two pairs of shoes. Overall, not the best shoe shopping experience, but certainly a good one.

I have to give 1 star to be able to leave a review. My family and I were in the store this evening to buy some shoes. We made our choices and waited to be helped. We waited for almost 10 minutes. I went up and asked a young man that was stocking if we could get some help with shoes. He acted like I was an inconveniencing him. He called on the overhead for customer service in shoes. We waited almost 10 more minutes no one came. We will never shop at this store again.

Me and my wife are business owners. We are also minorities so whenever we go to stores we watch for how people treat us. We purchased a item for our kid for Xmas. After our kid opened it we noticed that the manual was missing and some other items. We called big 5 and talked to the manager named Greg. He was super nice and told us bring it in and he would take care of it. We brought it in and he was SUPER professional and SUPER courteous to our needs.

Cashier didnt say hello just asked for my zip code. After I paid for the cleats she slide me the box. I had to ask for the receipt. It seemed as if she didnt want my business. Ill probably stick with Dicks Sporting Goods, at least they are cordial.

I come into this store for 1 thing everytime... Size 14W shoes. Hard to find or expensive everywhere... Except here. Shoes 14+ are usually on sale price (for me, usually under $30)... while the same shoes elsewhere could be $60-140. So I always leave happy.This particular location has a skilled multi-tasking Shoe department fellow on the weekends. He was very courteous and able to help me even though he had 5 other customers to help. He was able to keep all the conversations in his head on-track for every guest and would go to the back with 3 or 4 orders and come out with 6-7 pairs of shoes and able to drop each pair off to their respective customers. A real fine example of multitasking. I wish I could remember his name cuz hes awesome. Keep up the great work, fella.

Place is okay. lots of sports are covered here. Doesnt have everything. Shoe styles change a lot so dont fall in love with something it might not be there in 8 months. Learned the hard way. Limited quantity on certain items and sizes

I was looking for reasonably priced work boots and found just what I needed. Steeltoe boots for $49 is not a bad deal at all. I wish I would have bought them a 4 days earlier when, they were on sale for $29.
