I needed new carpets ASAP for a property I hastily needed to sell. I contacted them on a Monday and the carpets were installed (beautifully) that Wednesday of the same week. Not sure if that is typical speed, but the were superb with their communication and did their best to help me out of a tight deadline situation. Beyond impressed and highly recommend.

Jeff and Nia were extremely helpful throughout this process. This was our third time purchasing flooring (and installation) from this location. The selections weve made are all great quality and much more cost effective than HD or Lws, which have easily saved us $1000s so allows us to afford to make further improvements/updates to our home as well. Weve also consistently received the same level of high quality service each time. Were very happy with each product. Below, are pictures of before (brown carpet) and after (color: Hidded Attraction-Deep Slate)We thank this team for once again, impressive results at an affordable cost. We are fans for over 20 years...and counting. 🤍🙌😇

Tacoma Carpet liquidators completely exceeded my expectations. Jeff was great and 100% knowledgeable of the products. The whole process was done in less then a week! From walking in to picking out carpet and padding. To them coming out and measuring and then coming out and installing the new carpet. They did such An amazing job. All the gentleman who entered our home were professional and courteous. I was under the impression it would take 2 days to complete whole house they surprised me and did it in one day! Thank you so much guys! We love our new carpet in our new home!

We recently inherited my late uncles home & were in the market for new carpet. Went here first because my family has used their services before and everything went over well. The first gentleman who came to measure our floors was cordial, but didn’t speak much English so I was unable to ask questions or really get any information from him. The quote we got was more than expect so we kept shopping around to compare rates. We ended up coming back because it was the fastest we could get something installed with a decent carpet option. The installer (Jody- not sure on the spelling) was PHENOMENAL. Extremely outgoing and friendly guy, totally kicked butt with installation. We have an interesting layout with some weird stairs and a chimney in the middle of the room and everything looks PERFECT! Highly recommend his services again, if you can request a specific installer- he’s your guy! The stairs are even easier to walk up and down which is a lifesaver for us!Overall ended up being satisfied with the business as a whole & will continue to go to them first for flooring needs.

Jeff at Carpet Liquidators did a great job working with me to get some nice carpet installed on a tight schedule. Brad and crew showed up on time, were easy to work with, and did a great install in a timely manner. All done before the big blue box store would even call me back. Would definitely shop there again.

Excellent experience overall. Jeff helped us with the strengths and weaknesses of different carpet and pad options, making it easy to narrow down our search. We got a great price on a carpet we really like and a better price on the pad and installation than offered at the near-by big box store. Finding times to schedule the measurement and later the installation was very easy even with both of us working, and the project was completed well within our target time frame. We would definitely return to this store.

The only reason I am giving any stars is because they could measure and install carpet within a week. All other big box stores were four weeks out. Rest of the job was poor. Carpet was seamed in the wrong spot, and you can visually see the seams in two rooms. Extremely poor install tram. First, the gentleman who came to measure forgot to measure the family room, which was the first room I showed him. As a result, they show up to install 4 days later and wouldn’t you know it, they don’t have enough carpet. Hmmmm. Now we have have them come back a second time. But wait! There’s more! Second time they come back, they leave seaming glue all over the baseboards in the upstairs hall, scuff marks all over walls that were painted new a few days prior, and no transition strips! Another nice little addition was Reece’s peanut butter cup wrappers and dried cheese all over our master bedroom carpet. I’m assuming one of the install team had cheese sandwiches and Reece’s for lunch. Cmon guys, not cool. I asked the install foreman about the transition strips, and he says “my helper forgot to bring them.” Really? Nice job throwing your partner under the bus. So they finally bring out transmission strips on the third trip to the house and the are the wrong color! Gold instead of silver. His excuse was “oh, well they didn’t have any silver ones so I brought gold.” Seriously? You guys have an excuse for everything. Piss Poor performance. Will not buy here again. Will not recommend.

Working with Carpet Liquidators of Tacoma was great. Our installer, Brad, and his team were on time, professional, quick and efficient. Carpet looks great! Highly recommend.

The work performed was superb! Had the entire upstairs and stairwell carpeted. Took about 3 days total for the work to be completed. One man job which is very impressive! Would have been completed in two days but the installer had other homes on his todo list and had to address them (cant blame him. His work and the company are so good that I can see why they are in high demand!) Great price for the quality carpet and padding we purchased. Planning on using them again when we carpet our finished basement. Professional and timely. Great shopping experience as well. The salesman was not pushy at all. Would highly recommend!

This past summer Jeff at the Tacoma location assisted me with getting new carpet and flooring through out my house. He was quick and efficient. Did not pressure into a specific product. Recommended products base off of my familys use. Originally was only going to get a laminate flooring, but ended up doing our carpeting as well. Entire store transaction took less than 1 hr and install happened in less than 2 weeks after we purchased everything. To date no issues and I would utilize them again.

This is the worst company I have ever worked with.We chose Carpet Liquidators based on positive reviews from a friend. The process of choosing a carpet was simple enough and the manager was very helpful to that point. They charged a $45 fee to come out and estimate the square footage in the area that we wanted carpet. This would have been a perfect time to tell us about our baseboards (more to come on that later). The installers came out and almost immediately noticed that the baseboards in our home are sized to a thicker carpet – so with our choice of a flatter carpet, there will be a gap between the carpet and the baseboards. The installer recommended and was adamant that we choose a new carpet. We asked about charges and he replied, “There is no charge for a carpet, just call the store manager and choose a new one.” The installers immediately left while we were trying to get into contact with the manager. After getting on the phone with the manager, he told us that there is a 30% restocking fee (that would amount to about $500 for us). When we told him that the installer had just told us that there would be no charge, the manager replied with, “Well, he’s just the installer. He doesn’t know.” He then went on to say that, “We expect our customers to know what type of carpet that they need.” Look, if I knew about carpet, why would I be paying your company to install it? Why didn’t your company notify us when we paid $45 for you to come out and estimate? He then recommended that WE call the installer back since didn’t want to pay a restocking fee (why didn’t the store call back THEIR installer?). The installer was already at a different job site and said that he would try to come back – he didn’t. We then had to call the store the next day (why didn’t they call? Oh right, because they already had our money and now they have no incentive to try to work with us) to reschedule. The next available slot was not for another 2 weeks. Having our carpet ripped out and living like that for 2 weeks was an absolute nightmare. And that’s how I’ll wrap up how working with Carpet Liquidators in Tacoma, WA is: a nightmare.

Excellent service. Had the exact carpet we wanted (best quality) at a lower price than Home Depot and another wholesaler, even after labor and furniture moving costs were added. The best part? We visited the warehouse on a Saturday and had new carpet completely installed in our entire home by the next Saturday! Home Depot couldnt fit us in for over 6 weeks. Anthony was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Also, their installers, Vlad and crew, were fast, professional and helpful and went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

*Update* the day after this review was posted, Shane (I believe the Manager) called me to discuss my issues and sent his installer to me in the morning. His guy arrived right when he promised and stayed about 20 mins fixing our staircase (carpet wasnt pulled all the way to the back of the step leaving a gap). He also went over each step to hammer down any nails poking up. Was annoyed they had to come out 3 times, but obviously Shane is who I should have contacted to begin with. Really appreciate the quick response!Salesperson, John, was very nice and informative. Not pushy. Helped and had carpet installed by following week. Install took about a week due to multiple issues with installers. During which time, John could not be reached. Gaps on stairs, carpet plastic thread standing up everywhere, sharp nails poking from floor. Installers returned 3 times...however, 3-4 months later, our stairs and a few doors do not have carpet pulled all the way to edge. Can fit fingers in between gaps. Heard from John once installers left the 3rd time but only to deliver the invoice. Not expecting perfection...even though I should with spending about 4 grand. Obviously, still bummed out about it.

Amazing service and patience! To be truthful I did not make a purchase when I went to Carpet Liquidators. I went there to see what size area rugs they had and to get an idea of cost. I was greeted by Jason, from the beginning I felt his willingness to help and be patient with someone who has 0 experience buying any rugs or floor. He did not hesitate to listen to and answer my questions. I will purchase from them in the future when I am ready. They are a little hard to find pushed back off the street. I would give them a negative review if I could. After going to this company to have my home installed with new carpet the install was the worst ever. They subcontract guys to come out and do the work the guys were never on time and did a bad job. They also Did not carpet the closets and once I called the company to have them come back out to finish, they were not the easiest to deal with. suggesting I contact the guys that “They” hired to get them to come back when I hired Carpet Liquidators not these subcontractor and. they were paid in full. The customer service was horrible and these contractors did a horrible job as the carpet began to unravel where they had tacked it together. None the less o had to hire another company to come out and fix this issue cause I just didn’t want to sit and argue to have my carpet done correct so if you want it done right the first time go somewhere else. Or just skip the middle man and hire off Craigslist yourself.

Would of been 3 stars if they bothered responding to me email. Had vinyl plank flooring installed on April 6th and 8th. Had bronchitis at time . Installers showed up 5 hours late they did call. Left us with a mess. Fumes over the weekend because they started 5 hours late and they where tired. It was suppose to be done one day. They said they could maybe squeeze us in on the Monday early like it was a favor . Happy with r living room great job . Our sunroom different story. About 12 planks curling up on edge lines and ends. I guess thats why they get cash first. So you cant see the finished product. I wish they had better install team. Perhaps it didnt stick because they left the glue on the floor through the weekend. The store service ok why your There. Flooring good quality. We should of installed it ourselves . Your kirkland branch is excellent and so are the installers Had them do two different jobs in our Bellevue house. I wish I could send them pictures. I wish they would send a different crew and just stick down the edges on the dozen planks.Went from 1 to 4 after the 8installers came back and fixed floors

I am very conservative with handing out 5 Star reviews, but when they are earned like this one is, I want everyone to know about it.My wife and I just bought our first house. Its exciting! In this process of trying to get the house to where we want it I made the mistake of hiring a private contractor to do our lower level laminate planks. It was my first mistake because I spent double what I should have. After whining on Facebook, multiple people recommended Carpet Liquidators for the carpeting on our entire 2nd level. So I called them.I had the opportunity to deal with Mike V, who is the GM of all the stores. He put me in touch with Jason out of Tacoma. Jason immediately scheduled for my home to get measured. This is highly important because unlike other stores, the installer is the one who actually comes out to measure. In our case, Paul came out to measure and sent the measurements in to Jason. My wife and I then went in to choose our carpet and we met with John, who was incredibly knowledgeable and actually matched us with a carpet that he felt would be more than sufficient for our highly trafficked areas. A quote was then sent to us the next morning via email and all of the charges were listed. Everything was spelled out in black ink and there were no hidden or questionable fees.Fast forward a few days, I pulled up to our new home on my lunch break to check on Paul and his progress. He had already pulled up the old carpet and padding. He had them perfectly rolled up and laying in front of our garage for removal. He was not present as he was on his lunch break too. Our pink padding (amazingly luxurious) was already installed and I was able to see just how much of a perfectionist Paul was with his work. Everything was perfectly cut and prepped for carpet. The benefit of Paul having measured is that the carpet was already cut to the room size and rolled up/placed in each room. I left Paul a note thanking him for his hard work and asked him to keep the doors off the hinges as I would be painting them in a few days. I also asked him to leave any left over carpet so I could cover the stairs in my garage. I locked up and left.I stopped in the next morning before work and was amazed at how beautiful our carpet looked. Everything was perfectly installed and he even fixed a few steps on our stairs that were slightly loose that I forgot to address before install. He had vacuumed the floors so they had perfect lines. There were no tools left behind and there was no trash. He left the doors off the hinges as requested and he left a few small rolls of carpet perfectly stacked for me.I truly am impressed with Carpet Liquidators and ask you all to give them a chance. Based on our experience we will be recommending them to everyone we know that needs their services. I believe that people get sucked in to the insane deals posted all over the internet and websites that they feel everything should be free, yet done to their specifications. You get what you pay for. Carpet and padding is everything as its your house we are talking about. Its what we live on (literally). I feel we got a great deal and feel you will too. Just relax a little and allow the carpet specialists to do what they do best. If you are worried about something like baseboards being too low or too high, mention it to them so there are no surprise costs. How will they know your concerns if you dont speak up? If you dont know what to ask, tell them youre totally new and just want to ensure everything is done right and you need their opinion.-Signed a very happy customer for life

Their local 253 field supervisor also calls me 45 mins before store due to close to quickly make payment for the carpet if I want them to meet my pre-scheduled install by tomorrow, oh and by the way we measured incorrect and require additional sqft of carpet! How convenient !People beware that they use this technique to pressure you into overpaying be they work on commission. They have lost my trust and business. After shopping at all the other places ( Abbey, Home Depot, Lowes, Meyers, Great Floors ) they were all over priced or unreliable (abbey). We were at our last straw when we walked into CL, The sales guy Mike helped us out.He showed us what were were looking for with a no BS approach. The prices were very easy to understand when comparing one place to another. I measured my house at 1450 SF, using that as my SF price. When CL came out to measure they came in at 1500 SF. I was thrilled that they were not over measuring. Abbey measured in at 1600+ SF and took 9 days to get me the results, and she forgot a floor of my house . very incompetent. as for Home Depot, they plugged my numbers in their computer and came up with over 1700 SQ...As for they CL contracted installers, they showed up as arranged and cleaned/vacuumed the whole carpet before they left. They did a great Job... Save time and go Carpet Liquidators first.
