Probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at Honda! I had the pleasure to be helped my Gabe. I went in with just the intention of buying off my leased car. In general, it is good shopping experience. The service is good. They have such a thing call savy driver program have to be sale with the car. It has some nice features like real time locate where your car is and how well you drive but still it is not mandatory.

This dealership was very accommodating and understood my needs when looking for a new car. They helped me get the best fitting car and price as well as trade in offer as they could and made the process fairly smooth overall. When they had nothing in stock for me, they were able to get a car brought in just for me.

My husband and I are going through a tough time and had to trade in our car to get a cheaper car with lower payments. The oil and filter change was accomplished okay.The tire rotation was good. The the paperwork says all air pressures set to manufacturer specs but it did not appear that they were checked. They were all a little low at 30 psi each before and after rotation.The multi-point inspection could have been better. The cabin air filter cover was not reinstalled and was left laying in the space behind the glove box. Makes a person wonder if anything else was left undone.

Tina is amazing. Super easy to talk to and even my 5 year old was drawn to her, asking if we could go back to talk to her more after we left. I went to visit her looking to test drive a bunch of different cars because I had been youtube researching and confusing myself more and more. I told her what my dream car looked like and she went to work trying to find what I wanted in my price range. Even after I left the lot she sent me Video tours of similar vehicles that she found that met my needs. Although I ended up going with a different lot I enjoyed my time at south Tacoma Honda and strongly suggest you go see Tina because not seeing what you want on the lot during this shortage does not mean she can’t find if for you.

South Tacoma Honda continues to provide excellent service on my CRV. They sent me a video that showed their inspection of my vehicle before beginning service with an estimate of cost. I liked it and felt it was quick and easy to respond to. Every person that I dealt with was friendly and courteous.

We bought a new CRV last year and had a good experience, but todays service experience was quite the opposite. While the service was completed quickly and at the agreed upon price, the additional recommended services were outrageously priced. Honda wanted $67 for an engine air filter and $90 for a cabin air filter! I told the service agent that I had no interest in returning to a shop which charges so much for such simple jobs. I promptly went home and ordered the filters from Amazon for a total of $30. Itll take me just ten minutes to replace the two items.

I am very disappointed that Honda made such a HUGE error in diagnosing my Pilot’s problem. I was told pistons and spark plugs needed replacing and that it would cost $5,000. I reminded them that that work was done a couple years ago at that same dealer and I had the paperwork. They “rediagnosed” and found a couple spark plugs were bad and it was only $112. Did you even check my engine??? Why didn’t you check your computer for past work done?? Very sloppy and unprofessional service this week.

I have bought a lot of cars from a lot of salesmen and lots in my time. Very few rank with my experience at south Tacoma Honda and more importantly with our salesman, Michael Smith. I was looking at a specific vehicle on their lot, a 2020 Jeep Wrangler which was an abnormally of a good deal (apparently they have those often!) but I needed to make sure my huge dog liked it as much as I did. Michael was so incredibly accommodating to the request to have my dog try it out before we talked any numbers! Once it was dog approved we moved into negotiations…which can be sketchy with some lots and some sales people. Being someone who’s made my entire living in sales I hate the slick car salesman who makes a dozen runs back to his “manager” to get to the real price so I was so happy when Michael was so straight up, honest about what they needed and what they could do. He’s truly a rare find in car salesmen and they are so lucky to have him. He was friendly, honest, kind, helpful, a thousand times more than you would ever expect from someone in his role.While I don’t ever see myself buying a Honda (American made cars are for me) I would do business with Michael anywhere he goes. And if he stays at south Tacoma Honda I would buy there again in a heartbeat. I was provided immediate personal attention, my 2016 Civic was immediately taken in and diagnosed and Honda covered a leaking AC condenser under an extended Honda warranty for which I didn’t know was available. I chose to have a couple recommended vehicle maintenance items and was pleasantly surprised to find Honda, the dealer, had Realistic prices in regards to these services and more. After have Chevy, Ford, and even bMW, I would recommend Honda every day of the week and weekends over the competition. Thanks Dustin and thanks Honda.

If parts need to be ordered from Portland for really old Hondas, the knowledgeable Parts Department makes sure they arrive quickly… usually arriving the next day. If I could rate a zero I most definitely would. Unprofessional and dishonest to say the least. This Honda dealership will make promises they cannot keep and draw up contracts they will not abide by. I would avoid this dealership and save yourself the hassle. The salesman and finance manager will have you sign contracts for certain prices and interest rates and a few days later say you can’t have that interest rate. Even was told by the blonde female manager that an interest rate isn’t a real thing. Took our trade in and down payment very quickly just to turn around and say it can’t be done after we signed contracts and took the car home.

It has been a pleasure working with Joseph. He made the car buying process so easy and has so much knowledge on cars. He is easy going; I love his attitude and always good vibes with him. Thank you so much Joseph for everything you do.

When the Costco application came back advising that Reggie Lopes was in charge of Internet Sales, I told my wife that was reason alone to buy from South Tacoma Honda.We bought our 2012 Honda Pilot thru Reggie back in 2012....outstanding experience. Same story for our new 2021 CR-V......The entire team at South Tacoma Honda does an outstanding job.THE CR-V replaces a Lexus....my wife simply likes the Honda product more than Lexus.

I scheduled the appointment for servicing my Honda over the phone. I never got a confirmation phone call, text message, or email. When I called the dealership to confirm that the appointment was still on, it went to voicemail. I left two separate messages but never got a call back. Other car dealerships have way better communication. When we mentioned this to the dealership, they said they were just “too busy” to answer the phone. We saw several service agents sitting around without customers so I’m uncertain why they are too busy to pick up the phone or listen to their messages. The service itself was fine so I ended up giving 3 stars. Just your typical oil change. And they sent a video clip of the car via text. If they managed to do that, why couldn’t they confirm the appt via text??
