We are in the process of building a house nearby and our builder, Bobby Slover, suggested we talk with Sean at TQH Lumber for the selection of our custom windows and doors. Sean was awesome to work with and we have been impressed with the store. More to come as out build processes.

I try to support this place because its been here since I was a kid and lowes wasnt but when I went in looking for a chainsaw, no one helped me and I wandered around looking for one, didnt find one and I felt like I was being watched, like they thought I was a shop lifter so I got frustrated and left, i got a $450 chainsaw at lowes instead. The sales guy was really helpful in finding fuel and bar oil too . I dont know if Ill be back to Tahlequah lumber again .

Tahlequahs original lumber yard Tahlequah Lumber is a fun place to shop. Friendly folks will take the time to help you with whatever you need. They have a great selection but can also order anything you want. Shop inside for the tools and gadgets or drive through the lumber yard and pick and chose the lumber pieces you like. Tahlequah Lumber is a great alternative to the big box stores.

I had been looking all over town for C02 cartridges for a bb gun and finally the last place I expected to have them in stock... Tahlequah Lumber.

Always have what I ask for.

Going to rent sewer machine and arrived at store at 4pm and though it’s a 4 hour rental you have to have back by 6pm! Otherwise even if you return at 7am next morning it’s a 24 hour 50$ charge!!So for 4 hour rental make sure you arrive to pick up by 2pm!!

Talked to Billy on the phone. The nicest man. Went out of his way to go look and see if they had what I needed. And then brought it up to the front desk. The kind of service we used to have in stores. Good job Billy.

Took my sthil chainsaw in for repair! Took to long to order parts then ordered the wrong part, had to wait for correct part to be ordered. It took over a month to get my saw back. When I got it back it would not start! It took forever for them to order a carburetor, maybe it will run now?

Lowes online inventory showed hundreds of boards. Only a few warped boards on the rack.Went to Tahlequah Lumber. Pay inside. Drive into the lumber yard. Helpful yard crew loads the lumber in the truck. Plus, I saved money with lower lumber prices.Win.. win..

Alright lumber yard. Sign says hardware also, thats a huge stretch of the word. Tool section is pretty anemic also. 7 or 8 out of 10 times I go there for something other than lumber, I walk out empty handed because they dont have it. They can order stuff in, but if Im going to a hardware store its pretty good odds I need it today, right now, not in three days. The people are nice, though some are somewhat limited in their knowledge, and always apologetic when they dont carry something so I guess thats something. Go there for lumber and you probably wont be disappointed. If you go for anything else.....may the odds be ever in your favor.
