Great service. They had just what i wanted at a good price.

I was not going to post a review on Means Furniture Co because I had nothing positive to report. I have had a change of heart. After our most recent transaction with this business I feel compelled to do so.On DECEMBER, 6, 2016 we purchased a leather Flexsteel sectional sofa. The purchase price including taxes was $5924.00. We had a delivery date scheduled, donated our old furniture and were ready for delivery. Shortly before our furniture was to be delivered we were contacted by Means Furniture Co. and told our delivery would be delayed. My husband reported to Means Furniture Co that we had donated our furniture based on theIr stated delivery date and we had no living room furniture. My husband requested a temporary replacement until our furniture could be delivered. Some days later Means Furniture Co delivered a love seat from the same Flexsteel design as our sectional. We made multiple calls to Means Furniture Co. over the next several months inquiring on the delivery of our furniture. We received multiple excuses from Means Furniture Co as to the reason for the delays. My husband even spoke with the Flexsteel representative to no avail. Finally in MARCH 2017 our furniture arrived. Part of the sectional was damaged and had to be replaced. Miraculously the replacements arrived in a normal time frame.Fast forward to August 2020. One of the recliners was so broken down the frame could be felt when you sat down and the motor needed to be replaced. We called Means Furniture Co about replacement. We were told that replacement was not an option for this 3 1/2 year old piece of sectional sofa. As expected, the original pick up date was rescheduled my Means Furniture Co. The piece was eventually picked up. We were given an expected date for completion and were told we would have to pay for the replacement padding. A few days after the furniture was picked up Means Furniture Co called to tell us there was delay in repairs related to illness at the upholstery shop. We got our furniture back today and were told we had to not only pay for the replacement padding but also $100.00 labor fee. That was when I decided to write this review. We recommend shopping elsewhere. Means Furniture Co has no regard for customer service or satisfaction.

Wow a big place to shop. Bought an area rug the saleslady was super helpful and the most beautiful rug that fit perfectly in my Living room. High quality.

Buying was fast and easy, absolutely no problems there. However, when delivery day came I was told they do set up and haul aways. I was so excited to be able to have a nap in our brand new bed before work only to be shut down by the delivery boys claiming “their truck was too full” so I call the store and ask them. The lady asks to call me back and when she does she tells me it’s their call and they don’t take dirty beds because if bed bugs. The way she went around telling me felt like she accused me of having bed bugs. They never even looked at my old bed just flat out refused to haul away. I’m 7 months pregnant and I can’t lift anything near as heavy as mattresses. I won’t ever be giving my business back to Means Furniture.
