You can’t find a better jeweler in the state of Oklahoma, in my opinion. Meigs always has a selection of very high quality items you’d never assume finding in a privately owned hometown jewelry store. The owners, Todd and Paula are all hands on with their business. Which you just can’t beat in today’s world. There is no other jewelry store I’d consider over Meigs.

Meigs has always had quality pieces that don’t disappoint. Recently, Debbie helped me with an anniversary gift. She messaged me asking if she could help, provided recommendations and had the gift wrapped and ready to go when I came in to pick it up. My wife was very happy with the choice, which I call a ‘win’! I had a unique situation. I have worn my Grandmother’s gold/opal ring (on my left ring finger) since she (surprisingly) gave it to me in her will after she passed away April 17, 2011. She was the reason that I was able to go to college. She was my constant strength and encouragement. I wouldn’t be the person that I became, without her. So, to say her ring was special to me is an understatement. My sweet fiancé (now hubby) knew this. He made a copper ring for me to propose and told me that we could see if it was possible to make my Grandma’s ring into my official engagement ring. We didn’t know what to expect so when they took the opal out of my ring and set the diamond in it’s place, I lost it. I was so overwhelmed with happy tears, it was the most beautiful ring that I’d ever seen. All engagement rings are beautiful but this piece of jewelry is my heart. It’s perfect and I will always cherish and adore it.The next challenge was the wedding band. Because of the very unique shape of my ring, a normal wedding band wouldn’t work. I bought a band from Meigs and their jewelry designer customized it to fit my engagement ring, which made my beautiful ring even more breathtaking and special. Meigs Jewelers are a first-class operation, not just for the usual expected jewelry, but offers incredible designers from Modern to ancient Cherokee designs for wonderful gifts. The stones are first class, and this is a place where you can buy a piece to pass forward, but something to be treasured. Every purchase I have made from the designers at Meigs, particularly Sara Drywater, have drawn tears of joy from their recipient. On our first visit, we were greeted by Debbie Miller. She was very friendly and helpful. You can tell she loves her job! Didnt buy that day. Next day, went back and again received a warm greeting. While we were there, the weather turn bad quickly. Weather sirens went off in the town. They locked us in and kept us safe for about an hour. They were so warm and reassuring that we would be OK inside. We were offered coffee, cookies, tea, soft drinks...... anything we wanted. We made our purchases and after the weather cleared enough, we were able to leave and continue our journey. We were extremely fortunate that we were where we were at that given time!! Its a beautiful historic store with very a friendly, warm and helpful staff and manager. If I am ever in Tahlequah again, I will surely visit!

I visited Meigs after a traumatic engagement ring experience with a jeweler out of The Woodlands in TX. My original engagement ring broke twice, in the same place, with little help and great disrespect from the company in Texas. I had visited Meigs prior to the second break, and was blown away by the incredible customer service. When my ring broke for the second time, there was no question in my mind as to who I would take it to. I drove from Tulsa to Talequah immediately and they took incredible care of us. My new ring is more than I could have ever hoped for. Meigs made sure my original diamond was reset in the correct setting for the size of my diamond in a strong and sturdy band. Debbie and Todd make you feel like family. We were well cared for, consistently communicated and will eagerly continue our relationship with Meigs for other special purchases. Tahlequah is a lucky town to have a jewelry/gift store of this caliber! Anytime I need a gift, a new watch, a piece of jewelry cleaned or repaired, they never let me down. I can always find a gift for any occasion and they have a price range from very affordable to the extravagant (diamonds are not cheap) and everything in between. Great customer service too - the owners and staff are always friendly and helpful! One of my favorite stores anywhere in the world!

I cant say enough about my experience. I lost my wife to a sudden illness recently and wanted to have a ring made for me using her wedding set stones. What the designer came up with is nothing short of a work of art. The entire project was completed ahead of schedule & on budget. The ring is breathtaking and it looks exactly like the computer model. Ill be back to have more pieces made and if you need a jeweler you can trust or a special piece made, Debbie & staff should be your first choice.

We love our hometown jewelry store, where they know you by name and treat you like you mean something, not just like another number. We bought our original wedding rings here, plus many gifts through the years.
