Purchased a jar of mikes old west desert fire habanero hot salsa from a co workers fund raiser. Thinking it would be just tolerable at best, but hey its for the kids right. Boy were we pleasantly surprised, my son and I are always looking for that just right lets empty a bag of tortilla chips night salsa and I think weve found It! Is it distributed in the Tulsa area and where might I find it..... thanks again.

Backwoods Foods is the best little hidden treasure in Tahlequah! If youve never been in, you dont know what your missing. The employees are very helpful and friendly and they have the best BBQ sauce and salsa in town! I will forever be a loyal Backwoods customer.

They distribute a great tasting BBQ sauce that was being tasted at the Red Fern Festival. If their other items are as good, this would be the ultimate place to buy in bulk!

I bought some salsa on a fund raiser. 2 jars of habanero hot. While the flavor was average, I was expecting something spicy. It had ZERO heat. on a scale of one to ten on the heat, this was a big fat ZERO!!! If your looking for something hot, this isnt it.

I just started working there. Havent tried any of the products yet but I can assure everyone that quality control is excellent.

When I moved to Tahlequah in August 2016 I felt very out of place and thought I would never find a job... I accidentally stumbled onto Backwoods Foods which quickly became my 2nd family. So far this has been the best working experience Ive had in my entire life. The owners of this company take pride in how they treat their employees and I cherish that. I never wake up and think to myself do I really have to go to work today. I would also like to mention that, here at Backwoods we take pride in producing safe and very tasty products for our customers everyday.So as an end note I would like to say THANK YOU to my Backwoods family for making this a very awesome and comfortable experience for me!
