Ive had several visits here and an inspection, and Ive always been happy with their work. Theyve also been willing to work with my limited budget - without making me feel bad about it.On my last visit my car had issues right before a big trip, and they had it ready to pick up the next day! They are fast, reliable, and best of all, honest. Theyll never try to pressure or upsell you on unnecessary parts or services. They dont have time for that sort of BS, because they have a veritable line out the door of loyal customers, and that part of BS would only hobble their ability to provide such fine service.

My good friends who are 30 yr residents of Takoma Park recommended R S. Automotive. I made an appointment and took my car in for a safety check. I knew there had to be something needed because my car is a 2006 Mitsubishi, and it hasnt given me any trouble all this time. The mechanic said I needed new tie rods. I had to make a second appointment for the actual work because the mechanic was very busy with other customers cars.My car now steers better and feels tighter and more controllable. Im happy I got that taken care of ! I highly recommend this repair shop; Mr. Doley at the desk is very patient and thorough as well.

Charged here today on our way out of DC. Super easy to use the DC Fast chargers, used an AmEx with no issues. Choose your charge port syle on the screen, run your card, plug it in, and youre off to the races. Will happily charge here again in the future.

What a wonderful shop. My car experienced some problems over the weekend and I brought it in Monday. They were kind, efficient, and incredibly professional. My car is my baby and I dont trust it with anyone. I will definitely be going back here for care for my car and will definitely recommend them to my friends.

I heard about this garage because it was the first to switch to all EV charging. So when we inherited my mother-in-laws 17 year old car, I thought Id give it a shot. Doley is the best and most honest mechanic I have ever used. His work has always been excellent. Once I had some muffler work to be done, and he said it was easy enough and it would be cheaper at a big muffler place, to save me money. Another time, I went to him after another mechanic had told me I had to replace both bearings. He put the car up, and he told me that only one was bad, the other one was fine. I changed just that one and never had any problem, saving more money. Since then I have always taken the car to him since I can always trust he is there looking after my best interest, not his. He is so honest and liked by everyone that he does not need to make extra bucks cheating people. Moreover, his work is always great quality, and I never had any complaint. I highly recommend it.

After seeing the article on the local news, I had to witness it in person. Next morning I drove 1hr 45 minutes one way to meet Mr Doley and see the station. Seeing the station at first glance was lure joy. Yet a sense of contradiction as it was a converted gas station into an all electric vehicle charging station. Mr. Doley and his staff still provide exceptional automotive service to “traditional vehicles” (TV’s).The station is super clean! I mean cleaner than any fast food restaurant.I walked into the office and introduced myself to Mr. Doley. After finding that I had traveled so far to see the station and meet him, he dropped everything in an otherwise extremely busy day to show me around and chat. A rare business person who stays in business because he not only takes care of his customers by providing great value and top quality service; but he also takes care of his employees.Being the second day as an electric fuel station they still had not had many customer but they are planning EV events where owners of electric vehicles can meet and share with TV owners rides and the experience of owning and driving EV’s!Tesla and Nissan already have events in the works.I wish him the best of success! These guys really overcharged me..customer service looks very innocent but be careful they just want your money .

I recommend getting a second opinion if you do go to them.My AC was went dead recently and I took it into their shop since they were close by. they recommended replacing the compressor and condenser which would have costed me around $1750. I decided that was beyond my budget and i took the car to another shop for a second opinion.Fortunately I didnt have to replace the condenser which just needed cleaning. I dont know how RS got it wrong. Maybe they have high rent to pay and need to make more money but the AC is working fine after the repair with the other shop and I saved $750.Also They will charge you for alot to inspect your car before they do any work like AC freon leak checks or broken window. I know they have to spend some time but they charge too much for an inspection.Again always get a second opinion.
