I try to be supportive to the local business,, but twice drove way out of the to get something I needed for boating and y’all where out of stock …. I will just get what I need from Amazon…

Clean store. Ive never been impressed with the customer service. Occasionally youll get someone that knows boating, and isnt just a random college student. Not that there is anything wrong with being a college student. Just dont go with high expectations of amazingly knowledgeable staff.

Ive never mind paying Superior prices for Superior Products, but when you find the same product and brand from your Marina or Boat lot for under half the price I wonder..

I called Westside Marine and spoke to a lady named Alex she was an extremely good help I could not find this part anywhere she went out of her way to search it out for me I wish every store into the distance like these people do she should be commended for her excellent customer service.

Good place to shop for boat stuff. Employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. A very knowledable pretty young woman working the cash register that makes me wish that I was about 30 years younger ...lol. All good though and a nice place to shop.

I drove 30 minutes as safely and as fast as I could to make it just before they close so I could purchase caulk to put on my boat so it could cure before The next rain. I arrived at 5:58 as soon as I walked in I was told by the cashier that they closed the register down, I asked him what time it was and he said 5:58. I asked him what time they closed he said “ 6 sorry buff”. This is not acceptable. I will not be returning my business unfortunately.

Completely overpriced on everything and will not stand behind their word.I was told over the phone that they would price match amazon on some power supply wire as long as it was sold and shipped by amazon then drove 45 minuets to have them refuse to stand behind their word because the ad on amazon is for a 50’ roll, not 50’ sold by the foot.I will never be back to a West Marine again.

Russ and his staff are the best. Very, very helpful. No-hassle returns. Very knowledgable. I love doing business with these guys. I highly recommend West Marine over all the competition.

Do not buy the extended warranty it is a jokeI was a Long time west marine shopper. Purchased a gps/ fishfinder $950.00 + and was sold on the extended warranty for any problems just return to store and it will be exchanged, well that was a lie . Two years later had a problem with unit, went by the store was told I had to talk to the warranty company, the warranty company took well over a week for them to tell me they could not find someone to look at the unit even though any unit over $750.00 they would send someone out to fix the unit, so I would need to return to store, store manager said he would order a replacement, four days later store manager said it had to be sent off to the manufacture to be fixed that was also not true, talked to Garmin and they stated they will send a refurbished machine and they do not look at or test my machine.Almost a month I still have not received the unit back .so do not buy extended warranty it is a joke and West marine needs to reevaluate the way they do business .

I decided to give these guys one more try. I came back on a Monday to find a sign on the door that says they close at 4:30 today Instead of 7. Looks like theyre doing inventroy. Its pitiful that we closed during business. Maybe theyre doing a final inventory before they close this store.Dont go to this store As I walked in on slow Monday afternoon the guy behind the counter walked away. The door and the counter are kinda far apart. Not to big a deal. I had to call out three times to get help from someone. I needed a hose flush adapter for my outboard. The first person sent me to the house adapter isle. The second person I asked sent me to the correct isle. But I couldnt find my particular style of adapter. So I asked for help. The guy who walked over was kind of annoyed. He pointed where I was standing and said those are the adapters. When I described the style that I needed he said these are the only ones he is familiar with and that I could probably find one on the internet. LOL. Needless to say I will not go back into that store. Too bad, they have more invetory than I expected.

Never has anything you need. Every time i do an item search, all the stores in the surrounding cities have the item in stock (just to far to drive). This just tells me that whoever is the ordering manger for the Tallahassee location is not good at their job....

Only place in Tallahassee to buy marine equipment and boat repair stuff and its pretty overpriced.
