Excellent Communication and Product line. Our son with Autism wanted a costume for SAIL H.S. and this was literally a last minute request.Hes big and tall, so searched our local party city, from his choices and found one.He was very excited to have the Ghostbusters outfit.

Bought a costume and it was too big, went in for a simple return. The staff rudely tried to tell me no because whenever cashed me out literally the night before rang up the wrong bar code so my item was showing up as something else. Manager took care of it for me. I get home with my smaller sized costume and its missing 2/3 pieces LOL. I hate this place.

I mean I never really am too disappointed with my experiences; however the fact that they let me down big time today, has truly hurt me. The associate and I searched tirelessly up and down the aisles searching for fire themed party favors and found them no where. I was hurt but it was her tenacity and continued efforts to make me satisfied to be here. I didnt get her name. She was the African American girl with the glasses and the most sleek natural ponytail Ive ever seen. Hopefully this post encourages fire themed novelty in the future.

Called with a question about blow-up head shots and I was put on hold. The employee never came back to the phone. I called again 20 minutes later with the same question and was put on hold again. Employee never came back to the phone. Obviously, I am not shopping here again.

Last minute shopped for birthday supplies. They delivered the next day! Most of the prices of the items I was interested in were the same or better than amazon and walmart.Party city saved the day.(Also look up coupons and you can enter them at check out. The one i found basically gave me free delivery and 10% off)

Store was not organized well which is indicative of sub-standard management. They do have a good variety of party supplies especially this time of year. I was keeping a delightful 8 year old mini-adult and she had a lot of fun as she examined in detail every think that caught her eye. ( Which turned out to be most things) I would rate this store another star if it was organized better. The prices were quite good and are in line with competitors in the form of the 1,203 Dollar stores in and around Tallahassee. It might be the product category because they are disorganized as well. If you wish to have an adventure with a child or grand child, they can utilize their imagination as depicted below in the pictures. I was an unwitting participant in a game known as Shaving cream in a bowl.

Terrible. Just wanted three $1 balloons inflated. Not a single person waiting. Told me they couldn’t blow up balloons on a Saturday because I didn’t order ahead. Again, not a single person in line waiting. I didn’t want a huge fancy display. 30 seconds to blow up 3 $1 balloons when you’re not doing anything shouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.

Wouldn’t give my money back for a Halloween mask and didn’t inform me about the deadline on Halloween accessories.

Okay variety of items. Was looking for some costume make-up and selection was a little limited, but at least they had something.

The items they stock are great. Their curb side and in-store pick up is severely lacking. In-store is ok as long as you don’t have balloons in your order. If you do, be prepared to wait and additional 10-15 mins for them to 1. Figure out you had balloons in your order and 2. Fill said balloons. I’ve gone through this 3 times with them. The curbside I honestly can’t speak to bc I haven’t experienced it. I chose it upon check out, got the email, clicked the link AND called the number when I arrived. It wasn’t until I had no contact after 15 mins that I went in the store to get my items instead. There were 3 employees, two on balloons and one at the register and the store was not packed, maybe 3 clients waiting to check out. Obviously no one pays attention to the curbside check ins.

I’m here right now and it’s slammed. The manager is doing such an amazing job of managing all employees while helping to complete balloon orders. I watched in awe as she managed such chaos while giving me advice on how to arrange my balloons. Give that girl a raise! Not sure of her name but it’s about 4:45 pm on Saturday the 25th.

Very kindly employees. Only thing was shelves was not stocked as normally. Which is understandable due to the pandemic. But I have no party surprises store in my area, had to drive 45 minutes to get there & had nothing I needed. Online actually said was in store. Not True at all

Its so difficult find anything in this store and never you can find a staff to help, if thankfully you do, they are not much of a help, they will be like go to this aisle, well just went there twice and thats why i m asking for help. Everytime its unpleasant shopping experience, even walmart has better app to help find things.

I enjoy visiting Party City each year with my family for our Halloween costumes. The store staff are plentiful, pleasant, and very helpful. Even for event or party planning, its a 1-stop shop. They have coupons for the savvy savers! I cant wait to enjoy the costumes❤

I brought balloons from here. Then they told me I had to pay extra to have the blew up.. I got a refund. I wasn’t paying 𝐅𝐨𝐫 balloons to be blew up if I brought from party city..

They have just about everything you can think of for a party. But, I took away one star because I bought my 9 year old a pair of adult size footless tights and they were too small for her!! How any adult could get into these, I have no idea. Great store!

They need to rotate their jelly bean stock. i bought 7 different flavors and all but 1 were really hard. at $10/lb, you need to make sure you arent selling people old jelly beans. such a disappointment.

Store must have been reorganizing because it had boxes everywhere, making it difficult to maneuver up and down aisles. A good part of the themes only had a few items left on the shelves and some of those items were hung on incorrectly priced hooks. We did find the perfect wig and lab coat to complete our DOC BROWNoutfit for my Back to the 80s Party.

They do not mandate mask wearing at this location. If you value your life, DO NOT COME HERE.

I went there to get makeup for my costume that I had from last year, but thats not what upset me, I had lost my ruffle color on my costume, I knew there was a slim chance, but I called them to see if they had another one from one that had been damaged or something, they told me yes to my surprise, I went up there immediately to get it, and I asked they lady at the front, and they said they didnt have it, so they bluntly lied to me over the phone, terrible experience.

They had exactly what I needed and the associates were friendly and helpful. However, the store was a mess. I had to move boxes to get into an aisle.

They were pretty busy but took care of me quite quickly.

Came in to order balloons and out the four people at the counter discussing schedules, no one took the time to help me order balloons. It is my daughters 5th birthday and I really found the customer aervice pathetic. We asked a guy did they have Lion King ballons, he said no and walked off. We stood there for five minutes checking out balloons and no offered assistance or asked if we still needed help. I got one name Nia and whoever else is working with her today made me walk out and take my business elsewhere.

Dropped in for a niche item. Asked an associate who went out of his way to find what I needed. After getting a ladder, searching overhead bins, etc etc we finally found what I needed. Very pleased with the customer service!

I ordered curbside for balloon pickup. When I got there after receiving the email that they are ready they said they werent ready yet. I had to go inside and get my order and had to wait for them to be ready.

Wait time was extremely long. The two employees were doing the best they could with the coverage they had. Could stand to hire a few more employees to ensure peak times are covered.

Items listed on the website as in stock they do not have. Totally ruined my 40th birthday.! I was left literally in tears.

The section of graduation party supplies was so disorganized, with different balloon packs everywhere, and the didnt have enough of the individual balloons so I could make 2019. All of the Party City brand balloons are near the cash register, but they do not have a price on them, so I didnt know how much I was paying for them until I asked an employee. They also did not have their helium prices listed anywhere either, or their long lasting helium prices. I defiantly felt like when I was buying my balloons that I didnt have much of a choice in what I was going to get. The employees did not look helpful at all, and frankly looked like they hated their job. I found what I was looking for, but it all was a horrible experience and I though the prices were way too high.

Long story short: an employee cursed at us, threatened us, and became violent because my mom asked if we had to give an email address at checkout.I went here today with my mom, and when checking out, she asked if it was necessary to give out a personal email address when he asked for one.The man behind the counter (we didnt catch his name, but he had short dreads) reacted aggressively. He told her to leave, cursed at us, threatened us, and became violent and began throwing things and refused to let us make any purchases.Everyone else there was decent and just trying to do their job, but when the person at the counter threatens you and becomes violent, that kinda merits a 1 star or less rating.

Overly priced but they have everything you need!

Good selection of costumes, candy, and party supplies. they also have decorations for any of your party needs. Also the staff are willing to help.

They started out good last year in this new store, but service is poor to non-existent, and lately, many of the seasonal items are not put out in a timely manner, or fully stocked. Same goes for the rest of the stock. They could do much better!

Everything just seems kind of thrown together, but the store was clean and the staff was very friendly. The prices are reasonable and overall I would recommend.

I am utterly disappointed in our Tallahassee Party City. I know that they have recently relocated, but that was at least a month or two ago. I went into the store yesterday looking for Jake and the Never Land Pirates invitations for my soon to be 3 year olds birthday party. There was almost nothing on the shelves and what was out was in very low quantity. I stopped a gentleman (presume was a manager or assistant manager) and asked if they had any Jake invitations in storage as there was none on the shelf. He said that he was sure we did but that he was much too busy and there was entirely too many shipments for him to stop and look for them that day. He advised instead that I call back the next day to see if they had any on the shelf then. I left the store with my son CRYING HYSTERICALLY because he wasnt getting any party invitations.If that wasnt bad enough, I called back the next day and the young lady that answered went and looked at the shelves and said that they were still not out and that they were remodeling and really didnt think that the shipments would be unpacked today either. She told me that she really just thought it would be best if I ordered my materials online and wait on them to be shipped!!!!!As one of the only party stores in Tallahassee, you would think that they would have better customer service. I do believe I will do business at online retailers, who are more expensive, since our business is clearly not appreciated at this store.

Extremely cheaply made decorations and costumes. I bought a few items that totaled 70 dollars. Two of the items were costume pieces that broke apart as soon as I put them on the day of Halloween. Didn’t even last an hour. When I came back November 1st to return unused items in their original packaging and the items that broke instanteously, I was informed that they could not do cash returns for Halloween items (bought with cash) and that I could only receive store credit. When questioned as to why this policy wasn’t communicated to me, the clerk had no answer. Do not go here if you want any items that last more than an hour.

Love the store could go broke in there shopping for parties

The young lady that answered the phone was initially ok, but when I asked to place an order for balloons she said youre going to have to wait Im helping a customer and I say ok, then she puts me on hold and accidentally picks up my line, I explain its still me the balloon person and then she puts me on hold again. Then it randomly hangs up. I thought it was a mistake/accident so I called back... again... and again... but no answer!! Im usually not the type to post reviews, but this was frustrating, especially since the store is across town and I have a short time bracket to pick up the balloons. Just poor customer service, mixed with the phone neglect, left me with a bad taste... now im looking for another place to get blown up balloons.

Beware of bogus refunds!I placed and PAID for a large balloon order (35 balloons) on Saturday 5/31/2014 for pickup at 11:00 AM Sunday 6/1/2014. I arrived at the store at 11:30 and there was 1 young lady at the register struggling to put balloons in a balloon bag and 3 customers in line ahead of me after about 10 minutes and the cashier was still stuffing balloons a guy came to the register. He did not acknowledge any of the customers in line and began blowing up other balloons. Like anyone who is there simply to pick up an order, I scanned around for my balloons but did not see them. Needless to say my order was not ready and not only was it not ready they could not find my order even though I had the yellow order slip given to me the day before. Time was not on my side so I asked for a refund. The guy blowing up balloons who had STILL not spoken to any of the customers had to enter his code. From this I gather he was the manager on duty and he STILL had not parted a single word to me or anyone else in the store. So I check my account this morning and I still dont have my refund. Then I look at the receipt and next to the approval code is OFFLN not a number sequence like the receipt for the initial purchase. Up until the approval code it looks as though I have a legitimate refund. Had I not received such poor service I might have forgotten to even look to see if I received my refund. Please remember to check your receipts before you leave Party City, i may not be the only person this has happened to.
