Window World exceeded our expectations! They are honest, professional and did exactly what they said they would. Due to COVID-19 we knew in advanced we would have to wait several weeks. They contacted us when the windows arrived and Jacob and Matt came out to install 13 windows and a sliding glass door. Installers professionalism and work quality were second to none. They explained the process and kept cleaning up after themselves regularly. They were very polite and interested in our needs. From talking to the owner, office staff and installers along with the value and quality of the install, we would highly recommend Window Would! In a world of uncertainty, its nice to know there are still great local family owned business franchises serving our area.

I finally decided that I want to write about my experience with window world recently. I decided that when I closed the window that needs to be repaired and it still gives me a bit of a problem that I know this company wont come and repair it. A couple of years ago I had a sliding glass door installed. And when I had the sliding glass door installed a gentleman said hey there looks like theres a problem with this window can I get back there and check the serial number, and I was like, Well I cant do this right now. I moved away for a bit and when I came back I decided Ill get the window fixed now. I called them I talked to the manager and she said they -dont send technicians out to repair windows when they dont know whats wrong with it.- My response was, I know a gentleman that came to the house said there was a problem and I wanted to get checked. Then they stated basically, Well too bad we dont send technicians to come check your windows. You have to tell us what the problem is so we can order your part. I said, Im not a window specialist I just know what this guy said. There was a lot of back and forth about it and an argument about warranty. One thing you should know is if you inherit a house you need to let window world know within 30 days that you inherited the house otherwise your windows arent under warranty. I understand that, I dont have a problem with that, I didnt do it in the timeline the warrant is forfeit. However, I was willing to pay money to have someone look at the window tell me if there was a problem and also pay to repair it. Or if worst case scenario replace it. I was literally willing to pay money to have this done on my house. I didnt argue about the freeness, I didnt argue about the warranty, I didnt argue about any of that except I wanted a technician to come check the window. And they told me they didnt do that. There also is no corporate rule saying that they have to have a repairman. So theyll take your money, a lot of your money, and not do anything but maybe installations. If you have a lifetime warranty I wouldnt expect them to show up at your house. Unless, you are also a window specialist and know what you want out of their window to tell them because they will not send anybody to your house. Go with somebody else this is a terrible company with terrible management and theres probably somewhere more local that will get you more and better of what you want. Good luck out there. I needed to get this off my chest. Seriously, buying from them is probably a poor choice. Definitely not worth my business anymore.Edit in response: You take thousands of dollars from people, either youre really bad at money management or the boss takes all the money, so for some stupid reason you wont hire another person to do a job. Please dont make excuses for your bad management on your customer. The fact that I was willing to pay for it and you could not be bothered is on you. Not me. Dont act as though I was complaining about having to pay at all or that you were looking out for me. In fact, have less desk staff for technician staff. Youre effectively lazy and thats what it was boils down to. You have desk staff to take the money from customers to sell your windows and contract out for a cheaper price so that you dont have to be responsible for installment. No, you dont get to place this on me as if Im the problem.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Window World of Tallahassee. I got three quotes for windows in March and WWofT gave me the best price. The other two took over a week to return their quotes and they were about 30 percent higher in price. Wes was on time and well prepared to answer all my questions about the installation. He clearly explained it would be 12 weeks due to production backup because of COVID. (All quotes said the same thing.) He was completely accurate on the timing. Just about 12 weeks later, Stephen came out, on time, and politely and professionally completed the job. He took down my blinds and rehung them perfectly. He was careful about my home and cleaned up the bits of debris left over from his work. I had additional J channel work that needed to be done and I was texted by the office to let me know Stephen would come out the next week to complete the replacement without my presence required. I came home to find it done, as promised. I went with WWofT because they are a known company and because of the price. The stellar customer service from Wes, the office, and Stephen made the decision easy. My windows look amazing and I hear a lot less outside noise. I am very happy that I chose WWofT and I highly recommend them!

Nice windows, terrible customer service.We had Window World (WW) replace 8 windows and 3 sliding glass doors. We waited approximately 10 weeks for them to install the windows. One of the screen doors was ordered wrong so they put it in upside down (without our ok) and the screen was not sealed on one side. WW ordered another screen which took another 4-6 weeks to get, but it was for a large window not a screen door, so it was reordered and we waited again. Of course everything was delayed because of Covid-19 but the office never contacted us with updates. If we did not call WW, we didn’t get anything scheduled. About a week after installation, we noticed 2 living room windows weren’t closing correctly. We called to schedule an appointment, which took several weeks and the installer advised that there was nothing wrong. Recently, we had high winds for a week and the windows started to whistle. The office told us a part (emery strips) were missing. The strips were ordered, it took 4 weeks, but we wouldn’t have known the parts arrived, had we not called the office. The installer called to schedule on a date that was not good for us and now we are waiting for a new date for the installer to show up. We have been told the office doesn’t schedule his work, the installer has a list of jobs in areas and sets his own schedule. Very poor customer service.

It has been around 15 years since they put new windows in my entire house. Last year they put in a new back, sliding door. I could not be happier with their services and products. They were one of the few contractors that I have ever encountered, who did what they said they were going to do, and more. I will be a customer for life.

Extremely unprofessional, poor attitudes and terrible customer service. They rescheduled on us at the last minute after we already moved our furniture, blinds, etc in preparation ...then the next day show up completely unprepared for the job, dont even bring half the windows, one window they did bring was defective. They then made fake excuses about the weather while its sunny outside, and tried to cut out after a few hours of work with plenty of daylight left. Now dealing with windows is gonna drag into 5 days, when we were promised 1.5 tops....and met with no apologies or attempts to make it right. Just rudness, hostility and poor excuses. Do yourself a favor and dont give these rude lazy people your money.Edited to address owners response, who clearly doesnt respect the time of others, and seems to think that tenants do not have rights. The originally scheduled installation was given with 3 days notice, while I was out of town and on vacation. No, I did not want them in my house without me present, especially as I have a cat. I provided a range of dates this week that they could come instead. They promised to start on a Thursday and finish Friday. We moved all of our furniture in preparation on Wednesday night, and waited all morning for them....we were not informed until Thursday afternoon that they were not coming till the next day. We were then promised that the installation would finish on Saturday. Only this morning after 2 hours of work, the installer stated he was leaving shortly to another job, and not coming back till Monday. The company contacts me, without apology or explanation, rudely cuts me off with every word I try to speak, and demands they will finish on Monday, whether that is ok with us or not. She even tells me she will have my landlord sue me if I dont comply! How is this professional behavior? And btw our eyes were on the radar all day, with no rain expected till later tonight. Again this is a company that wont value your business or time, and will not treat you with any ounce of professionalism or respect

I love my beautiful new windows. Having an older home with its original windows, our electric bill was high during peak weather seasons. Updating with new windows has saved us money. I love how easy they are to clean. Everyone at window world from sales to installation were professional and efficient. No messes were left behind.

Wow! I am in the construction business, and I am seriously impressed with the service at Window World. They arrived at 830 when they were supposed to arrive at 9. When I politely asked them to give me 5 more minutes, they had no qualms about that. They brought plastic floor covers to avoid tracking in dirt. I politely refused the service as my house is a loved and lived in house and I did not see a need for anything more. They also offered masks, gloves etc. due to the latest virus and again I declined as they volunteered that they had not had a fever in over a month. Construction workers are typically messy. They have to place all the parts in a certain area in a home. From the windows to the parts around them, they kept them nice and orderly. They even had buckets to collect any spare screws, etc. Before I even left, they had finished one window. My jaw dropped. That one window transformed my ugly 1970s house into the shinning beacon of hope that I knew she could be. The lines were spotless.When telling them about my cats and pointing to them, their location, they immediately agreed to stay out of the room. A word to the wise, put a sign on the door, it really helps so that workers no where to avoid. But again, if I hadnt pointed it out, they would have put a sign up from their office.Not a single door was opened without our express permission. The workers had hard calloused hands. Like, air conditioning, this is a very good sign that these are talented men.I cannot remember their names, but from the gentleman that gave me the free estimate, to the kind office staff that helped me with payment and scheduling, to the hard working men that are making my home sparkle, they were superb. Thank you so much for good quality service!

I had 11 windows installed by two competent fellows. They carefully removed the old aluminum single pane windows without damaging the tiles at the sills. They covered the floor and furniture with plastic sheeting and vacuumed up after each window installation. Love my new windows and appreciated the care taken in the install. I highly recommend this company and the star-rated efficient windows. So easy to clean!

Well designed product at a great price. The cost was about a third of what it would have cost to install replacement windows the way the original windows were installed. And, ten windows installed in a day and a half! Very happy with the results.

Windows were very reasonably priced, and the install team was amazing. The guys were super respectful, and made sure we knew what to expect and what they were doing every step of the way. We had a very large window replaced (along with all our regular house windows), and it’s made a huge difference in the look and light for our house. If I had any complaint it would be the wait time- the whole process took about 5 months. Our house, however, is pretty far away from the office we used and we had nearly 30 windows custom ordered, one of which was that really large one...so I understand the delay. Overall extremely pleased with the windows and the service.

We have Window World windows in our home and we are thrilled with how well they help with the temperature in both the winter and summer months. The heat and cold are kept out of our home. The windows were installed several years ago and have held up well. There is no fogging or issues with operation.

Absolutely super service and product. We had all our windows done in our home and they look beautiful. The team was patient with me as I made my design decisions. They kept in contact with me to inform me about when the windows arrived, that they were inspecting them and then made an appointment for installation. The installation team could not have been more efficient, professional, and they did a superb job. We are very happy with our windows and would choose Tallahassee Window World again and would recommend them highly.

The crew (Chris, Kyle, &Caden) that installed the windows at both my houses were professional, accommodating, and went the extra mile to get the job done completely. There was an issue with the trim that needed to be installed and the fixed the issue and stayed until 2200 that night to complete the job. That was a 12.5 hour day for them. When the job was complete, they cleaned up and hauled all the debris away. Im satisfied with the quality of the windows and warrantee. Both houses now have working windows that are much quieter and dont pass heat into my home. The entire process of ordering my windows through installation with Window World of Tallahassee was exceptional. During the initial, free estimation, the representative was very professional and answered all of the questions I had. He seemed genuinely interested in getting me the windows I wanted rather than upselling me a product I didnt need. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the price was. I took a few weeks to think it over, and did not receive any annoying calls pressuring me to buy. Just a polite thank you card in the mail. When I decided to order the windows, they were in within 3 weeks, and installed in less than two days. The windows are beautiful and I can already tell that they are insulating the house far better than the previous single pane windows we had. And they have a lifetime guarantee! I couldnt be happier with the service I received or the result. Thank you!

Let me say first that the Window World reps are all very pleasant. However, I hope they learn and improve from my situation. The salesman told me that Florida no longer by law allows for garden windows to be installed, though they advertise for them on their Tally facebook page and website. I settled for a sliding side to side window, which took eight weeks to be made and come in. When the day finally came, I was very excited for the new replacement. To my horror, after the installer left I discovered my new window does not lock. At all. I have a young child and now a man-sized unlocked window into my home. My neighborhood is not great, and I was terrified. This type of window does not allow for a dowel rod. The customer service rep called me back the next morning and instructed me on the plastic emergency lock, and someone came over right away and was able to lock the bottom half. Unfortunately, we had to wait over a week for the original installer to come back out and fix the issue. They apparently use contractors, not employees, and they were most likely not willing to pay another contractor to fix the issue. I was in fear for my child the entire week. I hope they read this and understand that this is not okay. (It took maybe an hour to correct, when he finally did come. At least, I hope its corrected.) I know my home is older, and the old garden window allowed moisture to possibly warp the area around it, but I dont believe it would be possible for it to sag that badly within 15 minutes after he left my home. I spoke to my carpenter friend, and was told that hes had to do extensive repair jobs twice, after this company installed over wood rot and did not inform the owners. (Check out Yelp as well for wood rot damage story. Yikes!) Take that for what it is, which is secondhand information, but be aware. I wish I had known this before, and I wish I had thought to ask the salesman to check before I signed anything. Now I really feel like I need the carpenter to come out and check out the job. I also didnt even think I would have to check for something so obvious as the locking system. If you do hire them, please make sure to watch during the installation for wood rot and report it to the inspector if you see it, and make sure the windows are in working order before they installer leaves the job. As nice as he was, everyone has an off day. They do have really great prices for the quality of actual window, and they told me a few times that they would make it right. Would I recommend them to my family and friends, though? Ehhh... I just dont know. This was an expensive and scary experience.

Great looking windows. Installation was easy. Price was reasonable. Staff friendly and efficient. And they solved the problem of having non-standard size windows. However, while Window World touts energy saving and solar radiation reduction, they just forgot to mention the considerable light reduction. My windows were foggy so they definitely needed to be replaced. And now I can see through them but I have very little light coming in. There isn’t even enough sunlight coming in to power my little solar powered gondola!When asked, Window World said the UV protection is a requirement for all new window installations in FL and GA. Would have probably opted to live with old windows if I’d known that up front!

I just wanted to write and say thank you for your excellent service. Ray Guadet was great in explaining everything before the sale, and more importantly, JAY, was awesome at the installation. He was meticulous, hardworking, non-stop, helpful, and absolutely would not settle for anything less than perfect. Right down to the finest details of the perfect caulking job. Whatever you are paying him, is not enough. He installed all 9 of our homes windows all by himself and they are perfect. Thank you JAY!!!!

Decent quality for window REPLACEMENT only. We had a good experience with replacing the windows in one of our properties. Would not recommend for new window installation. The owner met with our contractor at the site, they determined who would do what parts, and then later claimed that they would only secure the windows in place, not trim them out. This is not what was discussed with our GC on multiple occasions, nor is it what was in the contract. We found out later that they also neglected to pull the correct permit for the job.Furthermore, before the work or the county inspection was completed, they attempted to steal the final payment from our credit card, a card which we had not authorized them to keep on file. When confronted, they claimed we authorized the second payment over a call, however that was not true. We would never authorize payment for work that was not complete and did not intend to make the second payment via credit card.Since this experience, we have had several other people we know come forward with similar bad experiences with this company. The owners become very unprofessional when things go south.

The product is top quality, the pricing very competitive and they leave your place cleaner than they found it! Whats not to love?

The windows are a great upgrade from what we had, the installers did a great job, and everyone at Window World of Tallahassee has been wonderful to interact with. If you need windows, doors, or siding (and probably more than that), Window World of Tallahassee is the best place around.

I bought a house a few years ago which had just had new windows installed by Window World. I noticed recently that two of the windows had become fogged. I contacted Window World about the problem since the windows come with a lifetime warranty. It turns out they wont honor the warranty because I failed to transfer the warranty from the old owner to myself within 30 days of buying the house. Of course, I would have if Id known. It seems to me that the warranty should reside with the house, not the owner. Either you stand behind your products or you dont. In this case, they dont. Well be contacting someone else to repair the windows.

My wife and I were considering windows for our home that we had just purchased back in 2011.  We heard Window World mentioned on 90.1 Faith Radio, so we reached out to Kirk Cunningham at Window World in Tallahassee. The in-home consultation and product education was great. However, life happened and we were not able to purchase the windows at that time.Fast forward to December 2018, contacted Windows World again. They still had our original qoute on file. Due to new tempered glass requirement for certain windows, Kirk came out again to reassess.  We discussed options for trim work and pvc brick mold. We wanted absolutely no maintenance on window trim. We also discuss adding a 8 ft sliding glass door.  The next day we received a new quote, accepted, paid deposit and in February 2019 windows were installed.The installers Anthony and Rick were extremely professional, knowledgable of the products and were eager to answer any questions.  Very impressed with the pride they take in their work, respecting our belongings by using drop cloths, working neatly and vacuuming debris as they went. The install took a few days since we had 28 windows. We were pleased with the craftsmanship of their windows. My wife absolutely love the sliding glass door.  The pricing was appropriate for the quality of their products.No complaints at all. Great staff!!  Not sure if they have yard signs, I would definitely place one out. Would highly recommend Window World. Thanks everyone!!

The install crew (Anthony and Chris) arrived at our house shortly after 9 am. The promised time was between 9-10 am. They finished up the job of installing 7 windows at 2 pm. They were very nice, professional, courteous, considerate, and did a fantastic job with the install. They were both very efficient. Many times workers will come and sit or stand around or play on their phones etc. But both guys were on task and finished up ahead of schedule. The windows look and work fantastic. The inspection was done a week later from City of Tallahassee. There was one screen that had a little hole in it, but WWT immediately placed an order for a replacement and it will be replaced as soon as it gets in. Wonderful product, customer service, and great price. All-in-all a great experience starting with my online inquiry to get an estimate, the sales/estimate person in our home explaining and answering questions, office staff setting up appointments and follow-up phone calls and emails (Sarah and Marcy), and the install crews punctual and professional job. Would highly recommend WWT!

Im building a new home. NEVER have I ever seen such a hassle trying to get a price quote. Called on Friday, had to wait for a call back on Monday due to that person is not in. No call. Wednesday, I call. You have to give the sizes in writing before we quote. Me: well,, when its a custom order, you always have the Cust. pay the bill before you build, right? Them: yes. Okay, so lets get this done & we hit a deal,, I come in, sign the order & pay the bill. NOPE,,, you have to,,,,, Just way to much hassle,, to much complication.

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Do not contact Pam Cunningham. She is rude and ignorant. Called for a service on French doors that they dont even fix. They didnt tell me this in the call but when technical showed up they stilled charged me $75. And he was there for 2 mins and didnt do anything. Pam was rude and didnt care about my side of the story. She was never going to give up the service charge and wouldnt even let me talk. If you value your time and money I suggest going somewhere else. Anywhere else. Never use Window World of tallahassee.

My house has windows from Window World installed and I love their high quality!

What did I like about it? Not very much. We were told it would take three days to replace the windows of my 700sq ft duplex. Frankly, I found that somewhat ridiculous. However, my landlord gave them the benefit of the doubt. Once they got started, it was a slow process and they made a huge mess inside and outside every window. They then took an extra two days to have someone come and clean up. To this day (3 months later) there is still debris and broken glass in my yard. I find this unprofessional and unsafe to myself and my neighbors and their pets. I would not recommend this business to any of my friends or family and am truly disappointed in my experience.Along with my above complaints, the City of Tallahassee came to inspect the new windows and I was told that Window World had placed the windows in the wrong spots. The temperedglass which is supposed to be located within 2 feet of any doorway were placed in obscure areas. This is also uncalled for and unsafe. The city requires the tempered glass rule and the fact that they put them in bedrooms instead of by the door tells me that a different company should have been hired for the job. This business should have workers who are more invested in their jobs and better trained.Beware.

The installers followed through in everyway! I was impressed with their courtesy and speed in getting the job finishedin a timely manner. They did a good job. Great company! Windows are amazing!

They have replaced windows in two houses for us, and we were happy both times with the product, service and price.

No customer service. Warranty depends on having window serial numbers, which they dont save, customer has to. Then if problem arises customer takes photos, provides serial number etc. Our new windows had several issues and they still wanted to be paid in full before fixing. That is NOT customer service.
