I read the reviews. I did not find the Tricorn Hat I wanted. I did find some great Pirate SWAG.I found the staff to be super helpful.The parking lot is a bit small for Halloween season, but any other time of the year you should be able to find reasonable parking.The reviews posted here are either hate or love...It wasnt until after I made my purchase did I let them know that I am the Google Pirate.That I have been looking for a Tricorn Hat since I left the Border of Mexico... This was the first long established costume shop that was open and relatively close to me when I was passing through. I read the reviews.Which brought up the dialog about the large sign out front that clearly states no purses, backpacks, or bags... I thought it was because people where stealing costumes, no it was customers, stealing from customers because during the holiday it is so packed you dont notice the pick pockets. (I am sure it has to do with theft also because all the shops I visited in the area have a similar sign posted.I also reported a few comments. The hours not being correct on Google Maps is not something you write a negative review about. Instead submit the right hours and help them out.This costume shop does not have a website or Facebook page (yet). They are old school helping real people in the store.The review by a former employee who was posting a bad review to be mean, was removed before I arrived to the store which is where I started this loop ... Love the local place! It is hard to want to spend the money, but everything is priced accurately. They have all sorts of Ben nye stuff! And they will show you how to use it if you ask!

Terrible shop. Not only do they have a very small selection but the staff seems to constantly stare you down to make sure you’re not stealing. The whole place had a weird vibe, dont waste your time here.

Someone needs to list the correct times. Yelp and a few others have them listed as being open till 7:30 Google says 6:00. it would be nice to actually know what the proper times are. Some of their items are far over priced and the guy that says the rather inappropriate well finger it out to women (in my case my wife) needs to learn something about costumer service.

They stock an excellent variety of costumes and costume supplies, including professional-grade makeup. In addition, they have an excellent selection of books for learning magic, supplies for magicians, and tricks, and the owner is a very good magician himself. Recommended!

Terrible customer service and prices. Even though I followed their no bag policy before even walking in they were stalking me the whole time. I felt very uncomfortable. Better off getting something online and if in a pinch just go to walmart instead.

Love this place for all costume needs and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!

Alas, this local shop just shuttered its doors. It was a great place to get costumes, magic tricks, and novelty items.

Taking my time to write this because this place is so cool ! The people that work there are super nice and very helpful, the owner is the coolest dude you will ever meet, they love what they do, definitely coming back every year!!

Very very efficient was in and out of there in 15 minutes and prices were good got exactly what I wanted

Aggressive, unhelpful, rude employees run this place. If youre looking for over priced, used, and cheap costumes- this is your kind of store. Completely unsatisfied with costumer service and the way the manager handled us, the costumers. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Trust me, the drive to party city is worth it. If a quarter of a star was an option, thats what I would select.

This is an awful place. After fighting traffic to get there, and walking more than a mile because of their insufficient parking, Im told that I cant come in the store with my purse, nor could I leave my purse behind the counter. They couldnt even make an exception for me, being pregnant, so I was turned away. Id rather walk back to my car empty handed then spend money here. What terrible customer service.

I quit going there and so did my theater group. Nice business loss move dude who screams at ya as soon as you walk in. Nothing says want to buy like being yelled at by Richard Simmons on crack. Whats the deal with that? Um no bag no wallet no buy thats a no brainer...either up your meds or get real about how often you really get stolen from and think of all the business that wmart and Halloween temporary town and party city and dollar tree and even goodwill are taking from you when you treat incoming buyers like they are known felonst!! A friend of mine tried to leave her purse in her trunk in that hood and it got popped within seconds. She had her wallet and keys with her but her purse and pics of her grandkids are gone forever. All that to be screamed at in a loony toon? I myself saw fsu girls allowed in with backpacks and non cuties told to leave their bags outside. Go to amazon for your makeup and mustaches and other places for cheaper costumes. avoid crazy town.
