We have used playground music center for the last two years and have had an amazing experience every time. They have superior customer service and a wealth of knowledge. When my son first started playing the clarinet we knew nothing about music. They answered all of our questions and made the entire process very easy.

I have been doing business with Playground Music in Tallahassee for a little more than a year now. This has to be one of the best companies Ive ever dealt with. Their personable associates are friendly and make us truly feel like family. Any time we need anything, all I have to do is call and theyll have it waiting for us. My daughter busted her saxophone and they gave us a loaner until hers was fixed. This establishment is top-notch. Youll be making a mistake going anywhere else! ***Jared and Kurt are the absolute best!

I came to this place because it is advertised as being a place for kids to learn music and improve their skills and grow as musicians. Meeting Jared and Curt, they seemed like nice and knowledgeable people. But when it came down to doing business, theyve shown that theyre not very good businessmen.Jared double charged my card, and never showed any kind of apologetic attitude towards the situation. They said the double charge wasnt showing up in their system, and it took a week for them to even FIND the charge. They never believed me when I said my card was overcharged, they had to wait for their accountant to tell them...almost 2 weeks I went without a refund which financially set me back. Curt handled the issue after Jared screwed up, and at the end of it, they really didnt care about the situation. Before I paid them, they said a contract would need to be signed, which I never signed one, but after the issue, they went on to say that signing the contract was not necessary.They really arent missing out on us canceling further lessons with them, and their attitude towards me and my daughter as we finish this months lessons shows that. If you care about where your money goes, and about people actually caring about your child as a musician and their future, I would not work with these people.

The staff at Playground Music are always very helpful and attentive when we come by. The instruments they have for sale and rent are very good quality and we would never go anyplace else.

It was excellent I have great day there the people were very pleasant very easy going I just enjoyed myself I have everything and the people are very knowledgeable they know everything about the instruments its a One-Stop shop for you, youre love it.

All of my experiences with PGM have made it clear that they prioritize teaching kids to love music and providing top-rate customer service. Their store front is clean and inviting and their staff is friendly and eager to help.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! These people seem great and nice when you first do business with them but they will take your money and then try to strong arm you into renting a much more expensive instrument and on top of paying for a more expensive instrument they will charge you interest at an insane rate! They will tell you that they do not charge interest when you first rent with them and then try to pull a bait and switch to force you into renting a $6,000 instrument with interest on top of that. I wish I had know n how awful this company was BEFORE I rented from them. Now Im a year of wasted money on a saxophone. Their store looks nice and the staff seems friendly but whoever is running this place or owns it is a cheat. I moved my business to MusicMasters and the staff is much friendlier and their rental program is cheaper and they do not charge you interested or try to cheat you out of your money. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Dillon at Playground Music has been so great to work with. He has taken great care of us. My son attends high school and plays the trumpet. When he began the band program in middle school, we rented from Playground and it was a very easy and affordable option for us. Later, he received a Yamaha trumpet from a family member and Playground Music has been so wonderful with the maintenance and care of this treasured gift. We wouldnt take it anywhere else! I highly recommend them for both rental and maintenance of your own musical instruments!

I just received my new Ludwig drums that I got from Playground Music Center. They came faster than I expected and the whole shopping and ordering experience was really smooth and easy. Its a nice place to go for music supplies. Great Atmosphere - Friendly Service - Its really a good place to rent instruments for student musicians. They have really good prices and the rental payments can go toward purchasing the instruments. A very Family Friendly music store.

The best place to buy your musical instruments! Especially for the youth to practice and cultivate their artistry. I also love the location. I have shopped in this area for years. It is a comfortable place to park and spend some time. I wish they were around in the 80s when I was taking keyboard lessons :)
