I am not the type to leave reviews, but At this point I am extremely frustrated. Our brand new home is only a little over two years old. They have been out eight times. The first seven times it was every 2 to 3 months our AC was out. Today our AC is out again. They sent a technician out that was extremely rude he Said it was a part that was blown outside replace it and left. He didn’t even wait like all the other technicians to see if the temperature dropped. Well an hour later the temperature is still at 81° and the thermostat shut off completely. We had to pay for his labor and pay for him to come out. I have asked several times to speak to a manager regarding the issue and Was told they can run some type of test when they are at our house and the AC is not working to see if it’s the actual AC unit that may need to be replaced. Well the tech that came out today told me he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. Every time her AC goes out I have to take my two babies and my husband and leave because we cannot stay in our home in that heat. I want this issue to be resolved so that way I don’t have to call them every 2 to 3 months to pay them to come back to pay them again.
I bought my house end of 2020 my builder used this company not me. The day after I moved in my thermostat blew and had to go 3 days with no AC- the service team finally came out and told me the wiring had not been completed properly.Fast forward to August and while out of town my AC goes out, it’s 93 degrees out and I called at 10:00am and was told I would be placed list tomorrow sometime and I would be expecting a call to confirmed time frame.I called back at 4:00 pm and service team member was rude and blaming me for the less then 1 year old unit air compressor not working. I asked if this was common and he said no. I communicate my frustration and the gentleman starting arguing with me telling me I should be thankful I am even on the list for next day. I said so your telling me it’s okay that it’s over 90 degrees and no AC is acceptable? To which he started yelling and talking over me, I stated I was going to hang up the phone and he keep yelling over me.This company’s customer service is terrible and need a lesson in listening to when a customer is sitting in a home in the dead heat of summer and frustrated that a unit that is less then a year old is having issues.I’ll update this once I speak to a manager in regards to the poor quality customer service.****update I have my information to someone who said they would have management reach out me first thing Monday morning it’s end of day and no one has reached out to me. I did not choose this company . My builder did. Purchased my home with a newly installed Del air carrier system. To actually get a person to answer the phone is like pulling teeth. I have been called multiple times by the only to be hung up on . I supposedly have a 5 year warranty on my system but I cannot get them to respond to my multiple requests for service. I have asked for a supervisor or manager to call me back and that just delays them from coming out even further. Do not waste your time with this company. They do not want to work on the equipment they Install or warrantyUpdate. The owner wants me to post my address and phone number on a public forum because like his workers he is too lazy to look me up in his system by my name.
We needed an A/C repair and Del Air quickly scheduled someone to come right out. Ricky showed up and fixed our problem quickly. He was polite, knowledgeable, and patient. Wed definitely use the company again.
They Installed the air conditioner in my new home and first installed it incorrectly and caused a leak into my closet below the air handler. That unit needed the compressor replaced and drain line was not installed correctly thus the leak. Next they had to come out and fix my second unit because they didnt fill it with gas when they installed it. Flex duct lines are kinked and need more hangers. Ducts are also run in worst way for air flow. They ran a return from the master bedroom into the top of the main return and did not put a filter on it. Did not install outside temperature sensor for ventilator. They recently came back to balance my AC because is blows hard in the master bedroom but not to the far bedroom. Did they install dampers? Nope. The guy stuffed cut pieces of duct board with a smaller hole in the middle to restrict flow at the register. See photos, I had to remove 4 of these. My house was warmer after this balancing. Restricting air flow at the duct is not the proper way to balance. This was probably causing increased static pressure in the plenum dropping the efficacy of the unit. Also dont know why any installer would still use a 1 filter, super cheap. 5 units cost nothing and are take minimal time to add at install. What a joke. If it weren’t warranty work, i would have already gone elsewhere. I will have a pro balance my system.
According to Del-Airs website, they have 24/7 emergency repair service, but that was not so in my case. My air conditioner went out on Monday, 5/3. I called the same evening and was told the earliest a technician could come out was Friday. I called back again and was told Thursday. I called again the next day to ask for a time window when the technician may arrive and to see if they could come an earlier day. I was informed they would keep me in mind. Thursday came and I called several times and was told technician would arrive after noon; no window time frame given. I called again after 4pm. I still wasnt given a time. I doubted a technician was going to show up so I contacted another company who came the same evening and repaired my air conditioner. The builder used Del to install the ac in my home, but I will not use Del for maintenance or repairs due to poor customer service.
AC unit stopped working day before yesterday, call Del-air first thing in the morning. explain to them what was happening I let them know I had a extended warranty plan. they scheduled an appointment for later the next day, I then received a call a few hours later letting me know they had an opening first thing in the morning. Kenneth arrived on time. He assess the unit And headed running within 30 minutes. He did not try to oversell me on any other service. very professional experience.I will use them in the future.
Tech showed up with another tech in training. When I answered the door, the tech in training just stood there, then said we are here from Dell for your service, just staring. Besides learning, he needed a little more people skills when coming to a home for paid services. The tech was satisfactory. Ive had friendlier techs in the past.
Maintenance has been great but have been having a problem for 3 years with one of my A/Cs not putting out properly. Have had it checked several times but no one can seem to find the problem. It still needs to be repaired or replaced.
Our technician Kenneth is very thorough, and detail oriented. The company has been very responsive to our needs and We highly recommend them.

Very unhappy with our experience with this company during the last two months. Initially we received services from Del Air regarding the a/c unit not running in our home. During three visits within a span of a month, this company sent three separate technician who could only temporally solve the problem. After the third technician visited our home, our unit in the attic ended up having more issues and then there was a huge leak that left damage to the ceiling. After reporting this issue to the company, a supervisory technician was sent out. While accessing the damage and taking pictures of the ceiling, this individual notified us that he would submit this information to his bosses as he felt that one of the previous technicians could have prevented the leak by replacing a faulty part in the unit. After waiting several weeks to hear back from the company regarding fully or partially funding repairing the ceiling, we were recently informed that the company will not help us and they did not provide a reason as well. Be cautious using this company for their services.
Workers for this company drive like mad men. Had one of their vans ride the shoulder of i4 the other day to bypass thier own box truck almost causing a multiple car pile up. Tried to call the number on the van and it didnt exist and when i finally got a hold of their office they showed very little to no care about how their workers drive even when jeopardizing the safety of many other people.
AC went out last night Thursday 2/25 and I called immediately. The soonest they could schedule me was Saturday afternoon, I explained that didn’t work for me as I have an animal in the home who is easily overheated and an event planned at my house on Saturday. Also that my boyfriend is out of town, I’m here alone and have to sleep with the windows open which is a safety issue for me. They didn’t seem to care at all. I called back today (Friday) and asked if there was any way to get someone out and they didn’t even take my information - just said they’d leave a note in the file. How are you going to make a note in the file without taking my info? I called another much smaller company just now to come fix it and was told they’d be here in an hour. Del Air was UNFORTUNATELY the company who installed the unit in our new build and the contact we were left with for service. Will be handling all issues and warranty stuff with another company and will make sure NOT to recommend this large company who should have the staff to accommodate.
Abysmal service. I am signed up for their bi annual maintenance program. Their technician who came out was incredibly rude, did not introduce himself, huffed and puffed as he carried on his work, begrudgingly put on the shoe covers I requested, scratched my stairway wall, and offered no apology. I have tried to call their management team multiple times and have not received any response. In this day and age, there are many choices for AC repair and maintenance - Del-Air should not be on the top of any such list from a consumer standpoint.

Once again I am writing to complain of Del-Air company. I can not believe I am having so much problems with a unit that is only 5 years old. The A/C Unit was serviced on July 4th for the scheduled maintenance check up. Now today, August 1st, my A/C is NOT working again. I had to turn the unit off because it only blew out HOT AIR. This is literally ridiculous and very unprofessional. Its the summer of Florida and my house is 82 degrees. The garage unit is running but the outside unit is not working. Im sure my notes of repairs is extremely. Four years of annoyance.
I am a three-year client of the AC maintenance program. Each technician visit has been different but they are good and take the time to explain things. This last one even took off shoes for my carpet AND he wore a mask! Good stuff. My only criticism is that the last two technicians showed an hour after the slotted noon-4pm time and there was no notification that they were running behind or estimated time of arrival.
They were able to skillfully repair our ac unit within a short time of arriving. The technician was great and knowledgeable. I would have given 5 stars but it took over 14 hours to respond to an outage that was fixed pretty quickly.
Our builder used Del Air as the HVAC subcontractor for our new home, which closed in early 2020. Move in day was in mid-February and cool. We didnt think much about HVAC until late in the day, when it started to get chilly in the house. Started up the heat pump...and nothing! Del Air could not send a tech out until the next Monday, when they diagnosed a compressor lock-up. It had begun to get warm by that point, and once they were able to get the system started, they brought it up in A/C mode and went on their way, calling it good.Admittedly, the A/C ran essentially flawlessly for the balance of the 2020 cooling season. Only gripe was having to remove the 9-foot door from the air handler closet to change the filter periodically, but hey nothing is perfect, right?Then came the 2020 heating season. Fired up the heat pump, just as we had 10 months earlier and - you guessed it - nothing! Del Air sent a tech out who took the better part of an hour to diagnose the defective part. In the process, he trampled some new plants, which we had put in the ground only the weekend before, mashing them into the soil. We subsequently left four messages for the supervisor of the techs, even providing a picture of the destroyed plants, but we never received any follow up. Even an escalation to the general manager proved to be a waste of our time. Once Del Air has your money, forget about the customer service; youll have better luck talking to the wall.

I called the HVAC company I’ve dealt with for the last six years to come to my new home and troubleshoot the air conditioning. I just so happen to call Dell air afterwards to see if a diagnostic call would be the same price. Dell air was less than half the price to troubleshoot. Not only was the price right but the technicians were super friendly, informative, and they knew exactly what they were talking about. I felt very comfortable with them working on my home. It’s Del Air from now on for me!
We had Ricky in to perform annual maintenance on our HVAC. He was very personable, efficient and extremely thorough. He promptly identified algae in our system and resolved the matter. He represented Del-Air very well. We have always had a positive experience with Del-Air.
I have been using them for years. They are expensive but convenient. This time is the last draw. The tech was talking on the phone the whole while he was here. There is a leak but he didnt repair it. He just added Freon and charged me for $350. Not again.
We have been using them for the last 4 years for annual service and one emergency repair. So this rating is for my most recent service today on 10/23/2020. The technician was nice/and did his job well but when entering our home he did not cover his boots even after going back outside to look at the outside unit. He also did not wear a mask during this time of covid with my wife and a newborn inside the home. Did not appreciate the call from my wife asking what she should do but by time I could respond they were done with the Maintenance. We should not have to ask to cover boots or put a mask on. Would be lower but since the tech did a good job I will leave 3 stars.
Ricky, the service man, was professional and completed the check ups nicely explaining everything he checked. He came, performed the work, explained what he checked, and left.
Gary and Darial did a great job fixing our unit today. Found and fixed the issue in a very short time. Would highly recommend them.

The technician showed up promptly actually earlier than expected. The main tech, James was very knowledgeable and troubleshot the problem immediately. Ive been using Del-air since I moved into this house and highly recommend them for anybody requiring AC maintenance.

Horrible customer service!!! Had a hvac system clog from a failed floater switch and not wiring the 2nd floater switch during install. The error on Del-Air’s end caused a leak that damaged my ceiling. Reached out for emergency service and was told they had no techs available for 2 days! Had no choice but to go with another company. Then paid the company for a maintenance plan and their tech serviced the wrong a/c unit thinking it was the downstairs unit when it was for the upstairs unit. Claimed it was a faulty motherboard and said I would have one by the next day. Called Del-Air and they said it wouldnt be available next day for sure. I asked for a supervisor since my unit was not working with a baby in the house. The supervisor came out ( never said he was the supervisor) and said it wasnt the motherboard, it was a “short in the wires.” He stated he had to find the schematics of the house to run a wire once he found where the short was. This was on a Friday and he claimed he could not accomplish until Tuesday! Left my home with no A/c or heat. I called Del-Air the next day since all of sudden my upstairs unit wasn’t working now either. They sent a tech out Sunday. The tech tried there best but stated no notes were left on either visit from the original tech or the supervisor (tech confirmed it was the supervisor that came out). The tech realized the first tech wired the system wrong and fixed the unit for upstairs. The tech was also able to fix the main unit for cooling but not regular heat (only Aux heat). Stated that the supervisor wired it to do that and I should wait for supervisor to call back. I didnt hear back from the supervisor and I have called 3 times requesting him by name “shawn” in tampa. It is completely unprofessional and pathetic that this company has allowed this to go on for so long. It has been almost 2 weeks with no assistance! They state they left request for either supervisors to call back and nothing! Don’t use this company as they don’t have a care for the customer or their reputation!
Two technicians were here. Both very pleasant and professionalDealt mostly with Scott because other person worked on the outside. (Didnt get his name ). They explained everything that they were doing.Was very pleased with both of them
I had some issues with an ac I bought last year. I needed some extra attention and the President of De-Air, Ken Veneziano, reached out personally to me and quickly assured me he will resolve the issue to my satisfaction! His actions display true leadership! Thanks Ken!
The service technician, David, deserves 5 stars! He was great at his job, friendly, and quick to make the repair needed. But since I am reviewing the company as a whole, I cannot give 5 stars. The website boasts about 24/7 emergency service, but when I called on a Thursday night after getting home from work finding my house 85 degrees, I was told that someone could come out 5 days out! I explained that I am off work for 4 days, my first day back to work was when they could come. I also explained that I have a daughter with cardiac defects that shouldn’t be in an extremely hot home. I didn’t even get an understanding tone. It was just “Tuesday.” I was told I could have a manager call me, but here I am a week later and no one has ever called. I put up a couple window units and recalled on Saturday to set up for my next day off. I was hung up on once. Another time I left my number in their “in line que” and waited a couple hours for a return call (No call back). Another time, I was disconnected after giving my address (I initially thought they couldn’t call back because they didn’t have my number, but the next time I called, they gave me my number after I gave my address.) Very poor business practices. I wanted to go to another company but thought it might affect my warranty. This place better be glad they had David come to my house. He was a total opposite to the “customer service” I received before his visit.
Great experience from start to finish! Tony (Sales) did a great job working with me on price & product (Trane). Installation crew of Jon (Lead), Bryan and Kyle did a excellent job and very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and fixing an issue with the air handler return. I highly recommend Del Air and also ask for Tony in Sales and for Jons team to install! I did meet with 3 other companies for quotes and was glad I went with Del Air.
3rd time I’ve had to reschedule in a row due to lack of communication. This morning I had an appointment, once again my husband did not got to work to assist the maintenance employees and my husband noticed that the del air employee went to a different house and never came to our property to confirm the address and when I contacted the customer service line I was told the employee stated he was told no Maintenance was required in that house! Of course because it was the incorrect house. He didn’t even confirm with the property owner there names or address?
***BEWARE*** I BUILT A BRAND NEW HOME AND SPENT $30,000 WITH DELAIR, TOOK ME 3 YEARS TO FIGURE OUT THAT THEY INSTALLED MY AC SYSTEM WRONG AND DID NOT PROPERLY VENTILATE OUR AIR HANDLERS WITH SPRAY FOAM INSTALLATION, OUR KIDS HAVE BEEN ITCHING FOR YEARS AND WE COULDN’T FIGURE IT OUT, A SUBCONTRACTOR FOUND THE IMPROPER INSTALLATION BY ACCIDENT AND NOW IM FINDING TONS OF INFORMATION ON HOW BAD THIS IS. I CALL DELAIR AND THEY SEEM TO DRAG THERE FEET BC THERE COMPANY IS TO BIG! COME TO FIND OUT THEY NEVER DID A AIR PRESSURE TEST AND NEVER HOOKED UP FRESH AIR TO THE AIR HANDLERS. WE HAVE BEEN UP WITH OUR KIDS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FOR YEARS BC OF THIS ISSUE. IM SILL WAITING FOR HELP!!

Its been a very large pleasure doing business with Del Air. From the installation and promptly handling my request when warranty part failed. Best of all I was connected to a real live person who solve my problem straightaway. No Robot. Truth be TOLD dont like trying to solve issues dealing robots. Spoke to live representative and was directed to the person I need to talk to you to solve my problem. And the technicians was very professional polite and friendly. Thank you Del air its a pleasure doing business with you whenever I have many problems I will be sure to call you take care and be safe
Techs are great, feels like a thorough approach to maintenance. Really wish they could be more accurate with their appointment times. Used them twice and both times find myself trying to track them down after an hour or more.
I have used Del-Air for 5 years now. I have been satisfied with there service, and recommend them to other people.
Before you call this people check 2 things. #1 Did they install your AC units in the first place? If they did follow the next steps. #2 have you had the AC unit for more than 2 years? If the answer to both of them is yes. Just call a Different Company. But before you do that. Go outside and check your drainage line. Somewhere depending how long ago they put a 3 to 4 sequence of elbow on your pipes to cause a mayor clug on your drain pipe. Then check your Safe-T-switch. There should also be another sequence of elbows to make it impossible for the return of excess water. Both of this things are designed to force you as a home owner to call them in for service. So they will come in and drop some solution( vinegar or bleach or a 50/50 mix) and 2 gallons of hot water. To clear out the pipe. Bring in a noisy shop vac and sock out the excess water ad magic a $2.50 just cust you $180.00 but they wont stop there now you are worried so before they start your Ac unit they will open up your fan change the speed to low or medium and then follow up with a fan replacement. If you in luck it is under warranty and it would only cost you. $375 for the installation. If not it would be $1800.00 for the new unit and the installation. So save your self some money and time and before you call any one verify those things including the settings on your fan. And then check them again after they tell you what the problem is. I did it and alway do just to verify if I could trust whom I am working with. And that was a fail test.

I live in Florida making periodic preventative maintenance of our AC equipment critical. Del Air originally installed the equipment. Over the years I have used different companies to perform the semi-annual maintenance based on their new customer pricing. Turns out that Del Air does the best overall job. They provide a detailed list of the tasks they perform at each of the two semi-annual visits. Best I can tell they do everything on the list. Im not an AC expert. Therefore, I need to trust the tech to actually do the work. I observed that other companies cut corners on the service to give you a better service price. My major complaint with Del Air occurred last spring. I was going to be away for an extended time that coincided when my next service appointment would have occurred. I couldnt persuade them to come early resulting in having to call another company to do the service on my schedule not Del Airs. Im back with Del Air and just had my fall service. A very interesting situation occurred. I received a call from Del Air requesting that their tech come early for the scheduled appointment. He did arrive at my house early but remained in his vehicle parked in front of my house until well after the scheduled time. No explanation provided. Baffling to say the least.
Had to wait much more time than was told. They over charge. Wanted me to pay them $700 for a job I got done for $225 with another company. Did nothing and still had to pay them $79 for having me wait all day and then trying to rip me off. Call someone else.

Had cooling issue at peak hot time. Issue handled quite quickly based on hot spell at the time. Have had Del-Air since 2013 and have been very pleased with them and the service.
Technician Marcus was very nice, and attempted to fix the AC unit problem, but could not. He contacted his supervisor, and the supervisor stated they will be sending more experienced technician to try and repair the system. I am waiting to hear back from Del-Air on when they will return.

Honestly I am not one to leave reviews. But this has been insane.Booked an appointment through our apartment landlord. They required us to be home from 4pm-midnight. Yes, midnight. They never showed.We needed a follow up after because the unit still wasnt working and couldnt get an appointment. Someone knocked at my door and they showed up unannounced! I had plans but felt like I didnt know when they would be by again so had to put them off to remain home for this.This was our third visit by Del-Air and none of the experiences have felt okay or seemed to address the issue.Its important to note that our apartment complex was avoiding replacing the unit due to expense, etc. And were also really difficult and unreliable. Hard to tell who was ultimately responsible for the lack of communication.

I had a salesman visit me just over a year ago to talk to me about having a new air conditioning unit installed in my home... from the initial contact from the salesman to the installation down to having my a/c serviced for the first time today, everything has been first class... thank you Del-Air
Not my unit so i dont know how the workmanship is. Trying to get a close approximate time was hard to work out. Once i got a day then est time of 1-4 they called at 10:30 to arrive in 30 to 45 minutes. They were here before i could get home by 11 and i got a speeding ticket on the way.. but they waited for me to get the key so they could do the repair.
I have had Del Air out to my house four times now to fix the air conditioner they installed in my new house 2 months ago. The technicians have all been very nice, but each of them contradicts the other about how it should be set, and it still doesn’t work. I am not very impressed with their experience or ability to rectify the situation. If it weren’t warranty work, i would have already gone elsewhere. In my old house i never experienced this with And Services. We are hoping the fifth time they can get us set up correctly.

Terrible service and not willing to help out a customer in need for a repair. Came to do maintenance on our one year old AC unit three weeks ago, last night the AC stopped working and they are not willing to send someone today to fix it. A simple rescheduling of an existing appointment today would accommodate our situation and they are not willing to help.
The service was quick, cost effective and done right. The technician was great. I need more work done on our monitoring sites and would want him to do the work.
Everything was fine except I thought the service tech should have had a face mask on. I told him that also.
James has always been an excellent tech. This is the third time James has serviced our air conditioning/heating system for the annual tune-up to keep the system running at top efficiency. He analyzed the system as usual and found a faulty part, showed it to me and explained the parts function and replaced the part after receiving my authorization. Without having this annual service done, the faulty part would have probably completely failed during one of the hottest summer days! Excellent performance James! Del Air installed our system into our brand new home, it’s not even been 2 years and we’ve had more than 5 issues. I spent over 3 hours on hold to finally hang up. Our AC has been turning on and off, the house is humid and the unit is not functioning properly. I’ve called to speak with a supervisor several times to not hear back from anyone. I paid extra to have them service the unit, what a waste.
Scheduled regular maintenance for the afternoon couple weeks ago. Even cable companies give you a 2-hour window now but Del-Air wastes half your day. After 8pm I called to reschedule because it realistically seemed impossible a tech would still show up and be able to perform a competent inspection in the dark. I rescheduled for the morning this time to avoid the same fiasco and at 1230 I called again. This time I was told they had me down for afternoon again. So at 5pm the tech finally showed up after Id wasted 2 of my days off waiting. Seems ridiculous.
This was by far the worst service experience Ive ever had. I by no means expect everyone to be having a good day or have a great personality, but I do expect to be treated with dignity and as a human being who has intelligence, especially when Im paying my hard earned money for you to be helping me find a solution to my problem. The man who came to assess the problem was incredibly rude to me. He would not listen to what I was saying, and actually argued with me saying the temperature in my house was fine. I told him we are having a baby and need the nursery to cool more- right now it gets in the 80s no matter what my thermostat is set to- but he said it feels fine to me rather than helping me understand my options and tried to teach me how to use my thermostat that Ive been using for over a year now. Does anyone else think an 80 something degree room is acceptable for a newborn or is this just me? He himself took the temperature in the room later and found it was already 80 degrees at 2:00 and suddenly it wasnt so fine. He would cut me off and tell me I wasnt listening when I was simply asking clarifying questions and sometimes would flat out ignore my questions altogether. He changed his tune when he finally looked at the room that was over-cooling on the other side of the house like I had been asking him to and saw that there were two ducts going into that one room and finally began giving me solutions that he said before werent there.The cherry on top of the sundae was that I was told very clearly that it would be 79 dollars for someone to come out and tell me why was going on, but I was charged 132 because he was walking around the house for 30 minutes. I will absolutely be going to another company to do this job and will make sure none of my family or friends make the mistake of hiring Delair.
I will start off by saying I never leave reviews but this time I will take the time. I have had plenty of issues with Del Air customer service over the years but today it went to a whole other level of disrespect and no concern for others time. Customer Service is very poor, i was given incorrect information not only once but twice by the day shift customer service rep. The night shift customer service rep didn’t take the time to assist me, instead she hung the phone up. I didn’t leave a 1 star because the technician was amazing and very courteous. If it wasn’t for him taking the time to do his job the way everyone else should have, I would have left a half star. Thank you Charles for being a great Technician and representing your company on how real customer service should be displayed.
Thought my AC was broken due to loud noise heard sometimes when shutting off. Could not recreate the noise during the service call. He checked the system and everything is operating as it should.
I have been a customer of Del-Air for the past almost 3 years. They are the best. Nothing is ever a problem for them. They show up before they always say they will be there. I purchased their annual gold contract. It has been a lifesaver...like when your ac breaks down in the middle of the summer...and theyre there in an hour, or less! I will always be a loyal customer because you have always done what youve said you will do. Thank you. Norm C.
