This place is owned by the same people that own Saigon Deli which is in the same complex. The store seems a bit overcrowded because the store isnt shaped like a normal market, it feels almost confined but there are many treasures there to be found that cant be found at other oriental stores. It can get stuffy if there are a lot of people there since the aisles are small but everyone is respectful. They have meats, veggies, refrigerated items, fish, etc. The selection here is definitely comparable. The cashier and bagger were very nice and thanked us for coming. They were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely return if I am in the area. I highly recommend.
So excited to have Saigon Marketplace right here locally. A bit short on parking, but if youre patient, a space will open up fairly quickly. Great selection of fresh greens and pantry items!
Most of the time good selection and service. Last time they were out of chestnut, but other than that I can recommend this market to anyone.
So much stuff in this store! Anything Asian you can think of including some things that I have no clue what they are for. Tons of hot sauce and curries. And check out the Saigon Deli next door, best Pho in town!
This is an alternative Asian Market to the bigger chain Oriental Market that was not in operation for a few months during the pandemic. I could find good prices (but lesser quality) for select seafood and pork items. But be careful, as some of the items do not have price tags; or would show a different price when you pay.If you dont understand Vietnamese, you cant really tell what some of the items are in their frozen section. So I just skip.Their ground pork sometimes include inedible soft bones; and oftentimes have an odor (bad smell of unclean pigs).Today, I bought some frozen cuttlefish, and these have melted while I drove around town. When I got home, the bag was dripping with water. I was shocked to find big chunks of ice when I put the bag on my sink. They had filled the tubes with water before weighing and freezing them. Just out of curiosity, I weighed the item after I took out all the ice and water, and it weighed just about HALF of the weight I was charged for. So, I was paying for the ICE at the same price!Im sorry but I do not like to do business with dishonest people.
Great fruit selection!
They had a Great selection of everything. Felt like a kid in a candy store 🤣
Great place for some quick asian snacks...and the prices are good too
Definitely one of the better places for pho, the house special was packed with layers of flavors and fragrance.
Egg rolls were excellent. The dinner was flavorless. Seafood fried rice.
Same as other Asian food store. If u need Asian food.
Spent $70 on the vegan substitute products that they had. Turns out, all items were expired. One going as far back as 2019. Who knows if these products have been kept at proper temperature or thawed and refrozen several times. Not to mention, the freezer for those products was tucked away in the very back of the store. Obviously it was very neglected. Unacceptable ethic here.
Good variety of foods
First and last time shopping there, we only went there as they were next to the Filipiana Cafe we eat at regularly, no prices posted for products or rice, and if you do see prices, they are not correct. It is very confined inside with not much room to get around. Unfriendly people working there, cashier never looked at me and my wife while checking our order, her attention was elsewhere. Gave 2 star only because they had what we needed. We will continue going to MD Oriental for our groceries.
They have stuff you wouldnt believe and they take E.B.T.
I mostly went in for AroyD coconut milk but it looked like they had a good selection and its a convenient location for me. I didnt really see all the prices I needed but otherwise, I had no issues
Didnt find what I was looking for
It’s good to be located so close to Saigon Deli.
The people who worked here TOTALLY ignored me while I was standing in line to be checked out.
Just discovered the new market right by my apartment. Pretty much one stop shop for everything i need. Staff is pretty friendly too
Very good.
Fresh Asian meats and vegetables. Asian staples, sauces, kitchen hardware. $$
Been looking for an Asian grocery near my house since din ho closed. Finally found a good one here. Lots of selection and really fresh produce. Def recommended.
Good foods
Great place to shop for Asian goods
Its a nice asian store, Id found what Im looking for..nice people too😊
Great items but pricing is all wrong.
My new favorite Asian grocery store check out the produce department.
If you want the most affordable Vietnamese food, this would be the place. The place is always packed. I drive there for the Durian smoothy. Also great noodle soup. If you have to treat your friends and or family, this place will save you the money!
They have almost the asian food and the tropical fruits are very fresh. I do love this place so much!
I entered this store for the first time, because I was looking for a box of tea, I went over and asked the cashier about the price of a box of tea, and she practically did not want to attend to me, she was not busy, she had ended up with a costomer When I asked her, when I asked for the stores manager, she told me it was her, finally she half the price of the box of tea, the price was acceptable, but because she cared so badly I decided not to buy it, it is my first and last time I put a foot in that store
Best Asian grocery in Tampa I recommend the crispy roast pork
The best Vietnamese market in Tampa. Homemade fresh dialy.
Great prices on seafood and Asian produce you wont find anywhere else. They also stock a huge assortment of snacks and instant noodles for anyone looking for Asian novelty products rather than ingredients
Love my Viet cons.
Very unfriendly people
I bought calamares at this place last week. This place has a lot of sea food that it is hard to find in other places.
