What a fantastic first experience! Growing up, I loathed going to a nursery with my parents. The plants didn’t interact with you, it was always a thousand degrees outside, and nobody interacted with you. I decided this year to test how green my thumb really was and plant a few garden beds. For the record, I can’t keep a cactus alive. I had a ton of questions and had no idea where to start. Joe helped me take stock of what I already owned, showed me a couple of combinations for seeds and started plants, and helped me determine the right product that I would be needing for my trellis. I’m grateful for the time and help from everyone today!

They have the coolest seed collection! I got a serviceberry tree here for a fraction of what Id have paid elsewhere. The roots are in fantastic shape!! I loved all of the gorgeous pollinator friendly perennials on sale. Quality plants. Really enjoyed this nursery and I will be returning!

I made the trip to Sun Prairie to use a credit slip I had received for some plants that arrived in poor condition last season. Ive happily bought seed for years from Jungs, and I thought maybe the plants I received were so poor because of all the unusual conditions with the pandemic last year. However, I wanted to buy plants in person rather than through the mail. I was really disappointed in how little stock this store had considering it is just a few days before Mothers Day--a typically high sales day. They had none of the shrubs I wanted, and had very few perennials in stock. I managed to spend my credit slip, and the staff was friendly, but I would not return to this location to shop.

My patronage has been on and off over decades dependant on where Ive lived.I can say theres always been someone helpful there.Stock is smaller due to its size.Its historically been a better place for outdoor things BUT at recent visit I was surprised to see already made terrariums AND some bonsai trees.I just wish theyd adapt more different varieties of houseplants.Theyve always been run of the mill there which is typically why Ive never utilized my jung dollars.

I realize it’s a busy time of the year but the seed selection was bare. Disappointing when you want to support local and end up getting something at the big box store.

Seemed to have a lot of tropical type vine plants that we were looking for so we couldnt use them outside as a perennial but maybe there arent many vine type plants to use in zone 5. Found what will work. Just not what we entirely wanted. Knowledgeable staff. Set up a membership so it must have been worth it.

Incredible depth of every kind of seed you could imagine, plants, trees, bushes, myriad garden tools and supplies, herbicides, and fertilizers in organic and regular formulations. They have certified master gardeners on their staff to help out. I have brought the leaves of many a sick plant to them for identification and treatment recommendations. In short - they are helpful and have just about anything you need for yard and garden.

There are many kinds of plans. Plants are very expensive. Open time is not work for me. I work 8AM -5PM.:(

Not a friendly place. Workers walked by too busy with their duties to offer any help. The man in line in front of me wanted Jung dollars, not realizing that they were now electronic. The cashier told him she would have to return everything and start over. She was unwilling to accommodate him. Then she could not find my account. Not a good experience.

Jung Garden Center is a nice place. The staff are friendly and helpful. I bought several different types of trees; 9 of which are doing great. They do offer a 1 year replacement on trees.

Nice enough place but very busy. They should stay open longer.
