When I was in Tampa, Florida exploring the beer scene in support of my beer blog, I came across several interesting places. I can thank the Tampa Brew Bus for helping me get to so many places in a single day and one that tuned out to be more of a general beer bar than anything was Pour House.Pour House is a beer bar that features a handsome tap wall with 40 taps flowing. The beer on tap includes a few Pour House brewed beers, but the vast majority are beers from other breweries. This is exactly the opposite of the typical brewery, most of which serve mostly their own beer and maybe a few taps from other breweries.You cannot sample several, smaller servings of beer at Pour House because they don’t do flights. This was a disappointment for me when I visited, since I like to try as many of the house brewed beers as possible. I had limited time when I visited, so I had to quickly choose a couple of beers and order full size servings. Another thing lacking here is food. Pour House doesn’t have its own kitchen, however, it is common to find food trucks outside so you might be able to get something to eat when you visit. Otherwise, be sure to arrive with a full stomach, ready for beer.Pour House does have outdoor seating and for fun and entertainment, Pour House has a pool table and several televisions for sports viewing. They allow dogs, too, so you can bring along your best friend if you like, for immediate companionship. There is nothing that really stands out about Pour House as unique, but it is a nice place to chill with a beer and this, combined with the good service, makes Pour House deserving of a look.

Loved this place. Amazing draft and bottle list and great service. The atmosphere of the channel district was spot in for any demographic. Will definitely be back to visit again for some more radical pours.

Their beer is ok but their customer service was kinda lame. They charge 8 dollars for a beer and on the menu it is says it’s a 16 ounce pour (ok that makes sense for a craft beer) when they poured my beer it was in a plastic cup, I also get that, it’s busy tonight. When I got back to my table my buddies beer looked much larger, after looking on the bottom of their plastic cup, I could easily see why, they used a 12 ounce cup. So when I went in to order another beer I mentioned, you guys are advertising 16 ounce pours and charging for 16 ounces but pouring into a 12 oz cup. After briefly explaining that the menu says 16 ounces he told me “ya we charge the same price whether I give you a 12 or 16 ounce pour.” So just like know that if you go there they may swindle you over their beer.

Outstanding tap list, including beers brewed on site, great new outside area, and awesome staff. Definitely a goto spot to either hang out with friends or catch a game on tv.

Moved into the building 1 month before it opened and spent the next 8 years living at the bar. Great owners/bartenders. Whether youre a local or just visiting, youll have a great time.

I used to love coming here to watch a game and have a good beer. Now I live out of state, but I stop by every time I visit.

Seriously the best bar in Tampa. Great staff. An amazing selection of beers and the most chill ambience you could want. Beer only. No liquor. But really really god beers, wine, and kambucha

Fun new place that seems to have it together even after being open a short time. Good crowd on a weekday happy hour. Staff was friendly and had good menu recommendations. Definitely good enough for us to return.

A great spot downtown with delicious Late Start beers and guest taps including two Angry Chair beers that even Angry Chair didnt currently have on tap. My girlfriend really enjoyed her coffee drink from the cafe area as well. Cool atmosphere and space.I was visiting from Orlando and left my sunglasses there. With no hesitation, they sent my sunglasses in the mail to my home without asking for reimbursement and eiwth no hassle. Thats next level customer service!!Will definitely be returning in the future.

So this is where theyre hiding Late Start Brewing. The place is very nice, marble bar, plenty of seating and space to move around. A detailed list of 40 beers on tap including some very nice guest brews. The only ding here is parking. Im somewhat familiar with the area it took me several laps of the block before I realized one of the parking garages was for the businesses. Doh.

OMG! Each week I tried something new. They brewed their own beers. Im never disappointed. This is a places that you would go and be yourself. It is a very relax atmosphere, a perfect location, and very welcome! Fantastic bar tender. Thank you!

This place used to be pretty cool when it was one of the few local options for decent craft beer. But its no longer convenient to bicycle here and the staff is just not great about customer service. And now that there are plenty of other fantastic local craft beer options in Tampa that offer more convenience and better customer service, I dont visit here anymore. The Hall on Franklin, Hidden Springs, Cigar City Cider and Mead, Coppertail, Armature Works w/Union, District Tavern, World of Beer, Rock Brothers, Zydeco, Four Green Fields and Tampa Bay Brewing Company are all close by and all provide a better experience, IMO.

Best beer house in Tampa. Couches, comfy chairs, big bar, high top, low tops, and decent pool table. Super laid back employees and owners. They rent space to the best local coffee crew from 6am-2pm Ginger Beard Coffee, then the taps of craft beer are on. Recently some of the top talent from other popular breweries opened their own micro-brewery in the same venue. Also have wine selection for those who want something other than beer.No food, but they’re always good with bringing or ordering food in.

Went to their big one year anniversary block party & it was pretty dead! There was a DJ - but not many people at all. I was highly disappointed for a block party! Good beer as always - but there are a million places with good beer. Its the atmosphere I go for - and this place was lacking that - at least for the block party. Maybe other nights are popular??

Great place to unwind after a long day at work. They always have awesome beers and ciders on tap. The atmosphere is great you can always talk to someone there ether it is someone behind the bar or someone sitting at the bar! Love the fact that you can order food from other place and have it brought to you there and they allow dogs!!!!

Decent draft beer and bottle selection but nothing I would commend them on. The space is big and had a college party feel to it. Makes a get place to watch a game and play some pool. The couches they have add a nice leisure feel to eat.The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the beer.

Fantastic Craft Beer Bar! 40 Beers on Draught and a Decent wine selection also. Cozy atmosphere and knowledgeable bartenders. Relaxed inside bar and lounge area with a cool shared courtyard outside. Dog friendly, since the only food they serve is Popcorn. I will definitely be back.

Best place to come chill and try amazing new beers. Selection is on point. Prices are good and the free popcorn is awesome. Also - Super dog friendly. Trivia on Thursdays is nice as well :)

Amazing rotating list of beers, great ambience, especially if you like and want to watch hockey, and the bartenders are knowledgeable, quick and friendly. I feel lucky to have this right around the corner.

Lots of great beer choices, varied and comfortable seating, and pet friendly. Staff are helpful if you want some suggestions on choosing a beer. They also have coffee for sale certain times of the day. You can order food from some of the nearby restaurants.

Clean place with friendly staff. Has a neighborhood feel. Lots of beer options--some local, some common, and some brewed there.

Seemed to bother the bartender. Selection was so so. Good restaurants within walking distance to grab and bring in. We stopped in on a Sunday around 1pm. Bathrooms were clean. Just not a place for me too many better stops around.

Pour House is a bar with a great selection of brews, 2 pool tables, free popcorn, pizza, and spaghetti now served courtesy of cena next door! Pet friendly! bring your doggy! :)

Great selection of beers that seems to change nearly every day as they cycle through kegs. Have a lot of local brews, and some hard to find stuff as well. Dog friendly if thats your thing, and you can order food from either Cena next door, or go grab City Dog to go and bring it to Pour.

Holes in the walls and ceilings to match the graffiti on the walls. Lots of people smoking indoors (not a huge surprise in Ybor City) with little ventilation. If you want a punk style dive bar look no further. It is what it is. Just wasnt feeling it that night.

Trivia here was a lot of fun and multigenerational. The service was quick.

Excellent beer tavern with 20+ drafts that change daily. Pour house has multiple tvs to watch sports games and a pool table and dart board to keep anyone in your group entertained. They dont serve food, but you can order food from next door at City Dog Cantina or Cena.
