Love the Boozy Pig! Weve had the pleasure of trying their sausages and burgers with friends before, but we finally made the trip over to see them ourselves. Such a friendly group of people working here and hands down the best sausage in town. Will definitely be back!

AMAZING! The food here is drop-your-jaw good. I got the breakfast burger and it was shockingly good! My wife got the knuckle sandwich - also delightful. The pancakes were very good, though I didnt drop my jaw on those. Maybe I was just full from the burger! Place looks unassuming but the food is incredibly good. I suppose its a good thing I dont live close bc Id go here every week and my coronary arteries would soak a bit too much up.

Ordered the breakfast Cuban, the home fries and lemon ricotta pancakes. Service was quick, food came out fast and so hot! The menu had a big variety of things to pick from, wish I could try everything. It’s a unique place attached to its own butcher shop. I didn’t get anything for myself from the butcher side but I got meat for my dogs and treats for them.

Absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a Saturday brunch and love the farm to fork concept where it’s not only a kitchen for dining in but a place buy meat from a butcher. Sourcing our foods from local farmers means fresh cuts of meat and in house prepared sausage/jerky that are provided to you with easy access in your own neighborhood. The cost was comparable, if not lower than Publix even.Not to mention they offer classes as well. Absolutely perfect opportunity to learn and spend quality time with your loved one or family. We will definitely be back!

Weve been there for lunch & it was very good..I took a friend there recently who loves places like this. She found bone-in pork belly sourced from a certified farm & bought all they had. The meats are delicious & they just introduced a refrigerated vending machine outside! We want to try the pork fat ice cream.

Weve been into the butcher shop several times and had wonderful, personable service from folks who really know their meats! Locally-raised, whole animal butchery is a cool thing to find in Tampa. Tried their deli for lunch for the first time and was more than impressed. Killer sandwiches (truly the best in the area). Oh, and BYOB! Cant recommend stopping in enough!

I recently went to a butchering class and was amazed at the knowledge and skill of Andrew, the owner. He locally sources everything in the shop and they cut down whole animals for what is in the case. Everything was outstanding and I left with several items to make at home.

If you have not been here, do yourself a favor and go. I can’t recommend this place enough. The Boozy Pig is the perfect place to source a lot of local products, meats, and many other delicious items ranging from cured meats/beef jerky to bread pudding, all made in house . The staff is also very informative and helpful if you’re not quite sure what you want or how to prepare meats purchased. Not only is the butcher shop amazing but everything I’ve had in the cafe for brunch or lunch is delicious as well. If you’re looking for a place to do a small, quaint private event, this is also THE SPOT. They’ll take amazing care of you, your guests and are so easy to work with. There is so much attention to detail and heart/soul poured into everything they do, it truly shines through in the experience you’ll have and the food they prepare. I can’t speak highly enough about this local gem, the staff and the owners.

Every part of this place is amazing!!! The butcher shop offers a variety of high-quality meat with a level of detail that can’t be found at a regular grocery store. I really appreciate and place high value on them buying their meats from local ranchers and farmers. The Hillsborough Hash was perfect and the customer service even better!

We have come here a few times a month or more, food is excellent and full of flavor. The meats they cut and source are all excellent. Highly recommend when looking for quality and locally sourced organic meats.

This place is amazing. Its been on my list to go to for awhile and finally I stopped in for break. I had eggs, bacon and potatoes with some coffee. The food was amazing and the service was also great. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch items and maybe by some meat to take home. If I could give more stars I would! We had a private event for my husbands birthday. The staff is amazing. They text us days prior and gave us the choice to email in our orders with a link to their menu. Our guests loved that it was BYOB. The day of our event they kept our cake in the fridge. We love that they are so family friendly. So understanding that we had our children at the event. The food was AMAZING! The staff really went above and beyond. It was so nice to meet the owner. Can’t wait to come back to Tampa just to make a pit stop for brunch. Highly recommend!!

This BYOB butcher shop / restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I have visited before but this time I decided to try out their new breakfast menu. I ordered the Hand Pie: Braised beef shank, caramelized onions, balsamic glaze and the Breakfast Cubano: Choice of chorizo, turkey sausage, or bacon with scrambled eggs and Swiss cheese on pressed Cuban bread. I chose the chorizo and since it came straight from their butcher shop, the chorizo was so fresh, not super oily and absolutely delicious, filled with flavor.The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts of visiting. The bar area is very well made and its perfect to bring a group of friends for wine and charcuterie.I love everything about this place. Come visit!

Haven’t seen/been inside the restaurant but already got food from them twice, so far they haven’t disappointed me yet. Foods great! This was recommended by a coworker so I’ll recommend it too.

Combining old standards with family recipes and modern tastes, the eatery has some fantastic options at a good price point.While the butchery prices may cause initial sticker shock, it’s important to remember that the food behind the glass is pasture raised and locally sourced. Those aren’t just buzzwords here, folks. The food goes from the farm to the cutting table of the boozy pig. No middle man, no sitting on a truck traveling hundreds of miles. That also means you’re putting money back into your community AND the food you are getting is fresh. In other words, you’ll be eating the best pork chop you ever cooked for yourself.

This is the only place my husband and I buy our meats and poultry from anymore! Just left with a bag full of bacon, jerky and a chicken they broke down for us while we waited. BP sells delicious high quality products from local farms and has some of the best customer service in the Bay. Get on in and pick up some meats! Don’t forget some jerky for a snack on the ride home!

This was our first time here and we loved it!We had the Chicken poutine, that delicious & moist burger & their AMAZING bread pudding. Now the bread pudding was truly amazing! I have had my share of bread puddings and this is by far the best bread pudding! Sorry y’all I didn’t snap a before picture but it was surprisingly delicious! I could write a whole paragraph about its taste and texture, but go for yourself and try it out!Also I’ve never had beef bacon before and it was very delicious! I went there for my first time and it was awesome. The food and service is great. I got the El Mixito it is there take on a cuban sandwich the salami you can taste it in every bite. My dad got a knuckle sandwich that was awesome to. It has something called beef bacon if you have never tried it it is awesome. I could not stop talking about it on are 40 minute drive home. They have there own meet there that they make and we got 2 pounds of beef bacon and sausage and beef snacks which are like slim Jim’s. This is my most favorite place to go. It is a little pricey but it is worth it. Oh and the really cool thing is that they have a meat vending machine it is awesome. I totally recommend going there.

Great biscuits and bacon. My wife had a cuban and she said it was the best she has ever had. The turkey sausage was of good why it I’m. Im not a fan of meats that have sweet taste. Just me there. Our first visit did not disappoint! Such a fresh and delicious breakfast along with some amazing cafe con leche. The chorizo was perfectly spicy and my son said the lemon zeppole were incredible!

Love! The Boozy Pig! Great selection of meats and condiments! Amazing breakfast and lunch menus that are constantly changing. Custom cuts from the butcher and some amazing beef jerky made in house. Enjoy a unique breakfast with local cuban coffee and when they open their doors they are ready to serve. Friendly staff with a clean comfortable environment, restaurant does have limited seating but i have never had a problem with wait time for food or seating any time my gf and I have visited! I have been multiple times and will continue to show support for this establishment but today was my 1st visit for breakfast and the Bay area needs to know about his gem! 5 stars all around!

Talk about wow. Straight from the farm beef, chicken, pork, quail, duck and so on. 3rd generation butcher knows exactly what hes doing. Hands down the best selection of organic meats anywhere plus too many other things to list. AND they have a restaurant right where you can try some amazing breakfast items, sandwiches, etc. This place is a must for anyone who loves amazing fresh from the farm food.

Its not inexpensive, but they are putting stellar, inspired food combinations on a plate, with an eye for maximizing beefy flavors. I had the knuckle sandwich, which was a special. It was a pressed sandwich, with shaved beef and smoked beef bacon. It was delightful. Waitress said theyd had such a positive response that they were going to try to put it on the regular menu. And the tallow fries...well, amazing. Afterwards we went and got a tomahawk steak to fix for my hubbys birthday, and the was a delight as well. I dont think you can go wrong here as a diner or a serious foodie.

Came here with a friend and we split a Mixto and a rocket man. The rocket man was out of this world good. Easily one of the best sandwiches I have had. The customer service was fantastic as well. Will definitely be coming back soon. 10/10 would recommend.

The Boozy Pig is absolutely fantastic. $12-18 price range (#worthit). Excellent service, warm staff.I wouldnt bring kids because, well, they dont need food this good. But also, the environment is kid-friendly if thats your jam.Id say this is BBQ, but its not... Its more like what farmhouse dreams are made of, like if Chip and Joanna Gaines decided to hand deliver you the perfect smoked meat sandwich.Its craft sandwiches, but its not... Less of what is this weird gray stuff on my cracker and more like a world class chef decided to grace Tampa Bay with flavors only known to culinary students and pitmasters from Alabama.The vibe is chill enough for a date (dont bring a vegan or someone who wants to order a salad), but also refined enough for a business lunch.Also the jerky is divine. You should stock up and hand it out as presents. This should be the first stop on any road trip out of town. Or into town.Basically, Im reworking my household budget so we can come here more often.

Boozy pig is a bit unassuming but their food is some of the best in Tampa. The El Mixto Cuban sandwich is the best Cuban I’ve eaten, and their brunch options like the biscuits and chorizo gravy are delicious too. Their vacuum sealed bread pudding is a great to-go dessert. I have not been disappointed with anything on the menu and I am excited to go back now that they have a nice outdoor deck for seating.

I really thought my friend said we were going to the Drunken Hog....What an interesting place. A high end butcher shop with a attached restaurant selling their in-house sausages and meats cooked in new and classic ways. Always on the prowl for a good meatball, I instantly directed my attention towards that. The meatball sub did not disappoint. The Boozy Pig paid equally attention to the sauce and bread, as it did to the delicious meatballs. I cant remember the last time Ive enjoyed a good meatball sub in Tampa. I did have my eye on their take on a Cuban Sandwich. Next time Ill try that and see how it stacks up to the likes of Michell Faedo and La Segunda.

This place is fantastic! If youre looking for local farm fresh meats then this is where you want to come to. They get there all there proteins from local Florida farms. They butcher themselves and then sell it us the public. I love the selection they have and Andrew was super informative about everything they do. Dont hesitate to stop by. I cant wait to try their restaurant (check out the menu) because nothing is better than fresh meat from the day of or before!

I went for the first time 3 weeks ago and have been back like 5 times. Ive tried almost every sandwich, the poutine fries, and the Mac and cheese....and let me tell you they all SLAP! Cant go wrong with anything on the menu, the breakfasts Cuban and mixto are some of the best iterations Ive had! The pastrami is phenomenal....you literally cant go wrong with anything on the menu!

Disappointed that I didnt start coming here sooner. Their food is great, all hand made and fresh. Their meats are all locally sourced and butchered in house. Their butcher shop is impressive. A bit pricier than what you would get at the supermarket, but you cant compare... as the quality here is hands down awesome. Pay for the quality and support a small, locally owned business.

The Boozy Pig has so much to offer! Every week their menu has a few rotations so there is always something new to try. I’ve never had something I haven’t liked! I also enjoy seeing what is new in the meat case. It’s a whole animal butchery so every piece of the animal is used and not gone to waste. And it’s all locally grown! You know exactly where the meat is coming from unlike in a grocery store. The butcher is always helpful when I have questions on particular cuts of meat. I’ve always been satisfied with the fresh meats I have purchased.Family owned and everyone is super friendly and inviting! If you haven’t tried them out yet, you are truly missing out on this unique little shop!!

We stopped for sandwiches on our way home this Sat am after stocking up for Eta. The poutine was absolutely delightful. We also bought a NY strip steak from the butcher shop and just had it for dinner, broiled to perfection. Delicious!

Went to pick up to go items. Smoked meat smells good. I noticed they have a butcher shop connected to restaurant. Meat looks fresh in fridge. They also had olives stuffed with garlic (yummy). A must to go have lunch/dinner soon.

Holy cow, these sandwiches are possibly the best Ive ever had. Mixto really good but Rocket Man was the standout for both of us. Tallow Fries are crazy good too.

Great food and excellent service

I am excited to have this place near my house. Ive been looking for a butcher so that I can start buying better, more responsibly raised meat every now and then. I explained this to the guy working the meat counter and he was very understanding and found me a smaller chicken to fit my needs. Also, my mom and I split the cheese board and it was definitely worth the wait! You shouldnt order it if youre in a rush, but then again why would you hurriedly consume a cheese board? I cant wait to go back to try the breakfast and the meatball sandwich!

Im soooo happy theres a legit butcher shop near me. They have a map of all the farms they get their meat from, which I deeply appreciate because I hate eating big farm processed meat. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. One reviewer said the bathrooms were unkempt which I found to simply not be true. The entire place is extremely clean. Ive eaten here a few times and everything was delicious. The butchers board is incredible. Just go here and appreciate the fact that youre eating fresh, small farmed meat with knowledgeable staff on hand.

Incredible quality of meats. Had Sicilian roast pork with mojo dipping sauce and was incredible. Will come back tomorrow to get Italian sausage and more roast pork for meals at home.

5 stars for some of the best meat heavy sammies in town. Havent had anything from there I havent liked yet but definitely get El Mixto your first time in. It might not be a traditional Cuban but its my favorite version of it. The meatball or steak are also good sandwich choices but I dont think you can go wrong.The people there are super nice and they have a butcher area where you can purchase some pretty awesome looking meats. Definitely recommend popping in here for lunch sometime.

Really cool family owned place. I’ve been here now several times and each time got something different and was equally impressed. Their staff is super friendly and their Sandwiches are incredible! The quality of the meats (especially their sausage) are unlike anywhere else in Tampa.

Andrew and his team go above and beyond! During a very busy Sunday, they made and delivered food to the Drs, nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospital. Everyone loved the Cubans, salad and Green beans. Thank you for all you do for the Tampa community!

Come for the custom-cut, local meats. Stay for the fantastic food from the kitchen. Order yourself the Rocket Man sandwich (like a Rueben, but next-level, with house-made pastrami, and local kimchi) and while its cooking, check out the meat case - if its not in there, theyll probably have it in the back, or cut it/grind it for you while you wait. They also have stocks, tallows and demi glaze - all made from scratch, with care. Their house-smoked & cured meats are off the chain. The folks who work there are super welcoming and friendly. I bought 4 New York Stake, I placed on the grill. Flavor was good but the stake where a little hard. I wont pay same amount again in this place.

Meatball sandwich is delicious. If you like smoked food, the mexican sandwich is for you.
