Hubs knew about this small convenience store with its Spanish cafeteria in the back & thought it was worth a try since he didnt want to cook tonight. Our hefty roast pork meal & Cuban sandwich set us back less than $11! This convenience store seemed very busy for a Tuesday night, but there are other businesses in the plaza, including a laundromat and a guy outside grilling chicken. Our roast pork was tender & delicious, and the black beans were really flavorful. However, the white rice tasted like it had been sitting out for a bit. From the solidified look of some of the cold salads, that was quite possibly the case. Our Cuban sandwich was just ok - the bread tasted slightly stale, and there were way too many pickles, as if they were making up for my repeated refusal of lettuce, tomatoes & onions. I can see stopping in here again for an quick, easy meal, but not for a Cuban sandwich. The other hot foods looked really good, too, and fresh, so wed like to try some of those another time. Service was very quick, and the prices were very reasonable.
Greate place to shop, cold beer and every thing
Good food for the go, the go. The best actually in the area. I recommend 💯
Very nice store, excellent management. Great aptitude to help customer needs.
They usually got what you need but are a little pricey
Pretty good
There are always problems of violence and drunks at the entrance of the premises
Unpleasant place.
This was my favorite place to eat Cuban sandwiches. They cost $ 3 (when I bought 2 I got 6 and something with taxes) and they were delicious and with a lot of ham and flavor. I just came and it seems that they changed ownership. The price went up (for the 2 sandwiches I got almost $ 9) and they are not good. They have less ham and no salt. I ordered it with everything LESS tomato. And the woman who attended me to the point that I had no tomato. Well when I opened it, I had tomato !!!! Oh and they put the whole cucumbers. I will not come here again. This was my favorite place to get Cuban sandwiches. They would cost 3 $ (for 2 sandwiches i would pay around 6 plus taxes) and they were delicious and full of flavor. I just came today and apparently its under new ownership. The prices went up (for the 2 sandwiches i paid almost 9 $) and they are not good. They have less ham and no flavor. I asked for my sandwich to have everything EXCEPT tomato. The lady even made a mark on it that it had no tomato. Well when i opened it up, it had tomatoes !!!!!! And the pickles were whole. Im never coming back.
The woman who works here is very rude: does not have education, she throw me the bag for my stuff the owner need to fire this woman if they dont want to loose their clients ..... the Honduran woman oh where whatever he said to me, she is very bad mannered. She tends to you reluctantly, she tossed me the bag to put my things in the last time I went. The owner needs to change the cashier oh otherwise he will lose customers. It is seen that this lady has been working there for years and still does not know how to treat clients ...... oh, even Demanda will see in the future if they do not fix that.
Good shit! The prices for the skies ...
