Wow!! This is a great place for vegan. Realize that theyre only takeout. They have meats desserts stuff that I wish I could eat regularly and now I can. We had the mac and cheese and the drumsticks and tres leche and pizza empanadas. All definitely worth it. Next time were in town well definitely be back.PS. Hint,... Its cheaper to order directly from their website. Its more updated too

I used to come here frequently between 2018-2019 when my diet was more plant based. I never really had an issue with customer service as they were always friendly. I loved their desserts and patties. I wasnt a fan of what I believe were a plant based alternative to drumsticks when I had them back in 2018. I do feel like the meat was lacking in some items like their subs but everything was usually very flavorful.

This place is hands down the BEST vegan restaurant inTampa in my opinion. portion sizes are great for prices, flavors are AMAZING. used to come in all the time before covid and get the mac & chz + drumsticks platter, sucks it’s only online now but i understand it! i’m super happy they’ve also added the BEYOND meat chicken tenders to the menu! one of the only 2 places in the area that has it. my go-to meal now is the beyond chicken & mac box!!! it’s DELICIOUS

Great vegan options. and for the price they give you a good amount of food.I definitely recommend this place. the onlything that I didnt like its that. you cant go inside to sit down, or even to windows shopping. and when you order online its a little confusing. but other than that its great.

Honest review from a meat eater:Youve got to try this place; Ive been coming here for a few years now. Portion sizes are great. Ive had many different menu items. The only one that didnt meet my expectations was the vegan philly cheesesteak, but it was still good! I think the texture of the cheese threw me off. I love the gyro and the chopped cheese is my new fave. Pineapple ginger juice is great to wash things down, when its available. The lemonade works well, too. In the before times, you could feel the positivity radiate from the staff. Now, the positivity comes in the form of short wait times and a friendly wave as the food is placed on the pick-up table. I appreciate yall! Thanks for making vegan eats accessible to everyone.

Finally in the area to try this food after reading about it on line. It was excellent! I had the mac and cheese, cooked cabbage, drumsticks and also the spring rolls. The serving size was adequate and the flavors amazing. The buffalo sauce is spicy and really tasty. The cabbage had a very savory flavor and the mac and cheese was good too. I cant wait to go back and try other menu items. Maybe if hours are extended I could swing by after work, but closing at 5pm makes that challenging.

I got the veggie platter with cabbage, Mac n cheese, rice and yams. 10pc spring rolls and the gyro which was on sale. Omlanta this food is bomb. Not only were the prices reasonable but tastes great as well. They even popped in a free dessert on my order for no reason. Ill definitely be back again. So nice to get vegan food close by with out paying crazy prices. So much good food. Yumm

Ordered through GH. They didn’t have one of the items we ordered two of. Not a big deal, it happens. When we called to check in and see what our options were, the manager was short, sounded like the call was an inconvenience, came off totally arrogant, and did not apologize. Again, I understand things happen, but good customer service = me saying “let’s try again tomorrow”. But instead I’ll just avoid this restaurant. It’s a shame how it was handled.Edit: The 2 items were cancelled 20 minutes after the order was placed. By that time the driver was already almost there to pick it up.Also, it’s apparent that the owner doesn’t understand- it’s not what was said, it’s how it was said. If there’s an attitude and impatience from the moment I called, it doesn’t tell me you want my business. Basic customer service.

Normally vegan places barely gives you food and here you were not given a ton of appetizers but actual meals.Mac and cheeze is truly delicious!!! I have had the drumsticks before and still love them! Collard greens were spicy (not expected) good flavor just too spice for me. The tres leche was a bit drier but the flavor was soooooo good! (Too good even for a picture) Both burgers were huge and really delicious. Empanada was soooo delicious you can trick anyone its vegan. The food was disappointing!! I read the reviews as most of them were great and decided to try it. I’m also disappointed in the owners responses when someone has an issue with service or the food. You should never disrespect your guests in no form because they are the ones that keeps the business open. If someone’s card declined because of whatever reason, it should have never made it to this review. Reviews should be to make the establishment better not to belittle the guest🤦🏽

The plants taste so good. Honestly though, their hours are so limiting that it’s frustrating. It’s only available for lunch unless you manage to get there before 5pm to pick up a dinner order.

My boyfriend and I ate at Vegan International for the first time recently and we had such a wonderful experience. The customer service was outstanding, and those we dealt with were super friendly. Also, the food was AMAZING! We are both vegetarians, so we get very excited when we have *great* veg restaurant options wherever we are. This restaurant is actually one of the best weve encountered (and weve been to many). We cant wait for our next meal here!

The spring rolls were delicious! I also had the cheesesteak. It was my first time having seitan. It was alright. But I think for those that like seitan, it would be a great sandwich. My favorite was the Kofta. I had it cold the next day, and wow! I can only imagine how much more delicious it would have been fresh. So tasty! The people here are also super nice. Would definitely recommend 😊

Great food at good prices! Entire menu is 100% vegan. The cashier was very knowledgeable of ingredients. I have several uncommon food allergies and she detailed everything. I had my pick of about 70% of the menu which is amazing considering most places I can only order about 1 or 2 options with my allergies.For reference, the image I posted is their protein platter choice of vegan fish with Mac and cheese plus yellow rice and beans. I absolutely love their pizza empanadas, spring rolls, and meatballs. The soursop smoothie is amazing its like having a vanilla milkshake. They also offer vegan multi vitamins to purchase along with grocery items you can buy. Everytime I go there I always spend over $50.

What can I say other than what a wonderful restaurant this is! Food tastes great and offers some great alternatives for vegans and vegetarians that arent easy to find anywhere else in Tampa, unless youre eating at home. But, even then, they just make everything taste so great, you wontwanna eat at home. The founder, Tyra, is so sweet and very friendly, her cheeks must hurt at the end of the day! They also have a small marketplace of vegan food items that youllwant to bring home with you.There are downsides, but when you consider the food and the friendliness, you can overlook them. They are a very small seating area (if they could just double in size...); short open times, which makes getting there is difficult during the week; and the propensity of running out of food before you can get a chance to try it!This is a great place, but you just have to take those things into consideration when making a trek: if you are going to be later in the day, be prepared to leave your options open in case they are out of the food youdhoped for; and know when they are open and, if you wanna eat there, find out when the least busy times are so you have a better chance catching a seat.

The servers were super nice and helpful, and the food was really great.My wife got the curry chickpea empanada (pictured), and the Mac and cheese. I got the protein plate with sweet and sour pork. Everything was good although it wasnt out of this world amazing. The only negative was the fact that they had run out of several items on the menu but I would say thats a testament as to the popularity of this small vegan kitchen. I look forward to coming back here again!

This is my first, ever, experience with a vegan restaurant. I am impressed with the level of service: I ordered online prior to the opening time and was notified that my order was ready for pick up 10 minutes after opening. The food smelled sooooo good and I prayed all the way home that the sweet n spicy drumsticks, steamed cabbage and Mac n cheese would not disappoint. They did not! The texture of the drumstik was true to natural and the sauce was perfect! EVERYTHING was delicious!! This is the high bar that I will hold other vegan restaurants to!

Solid place to eat vegan food at . Vegan food that is both flavorful & comforting. Ive gone countless times, and have never been disappointed by what I order. Only thing I admit is that their menu prices are very very expensive. However, expect a fair portion most times, and a delicious meal. Its my favorite vegan spot in Tampa so far, and its probably the only place I would feel comfortable to bring a non-vegan to eat.They also offer many delicious bakery items & smoothies . As you wait, feel free to do some small shopping since they are considered a market as well.Cons: pricy menu, store frequently closes and sells out of menu items quick, so make sure to arrive early . Their have been few times where Ive gone, and everything is sold out .Pros: customer service (Tyra hits the nail), fast service, delicious & creative vegan food (they always introduce new menu items) which is cool, and a dining area for customers.

The workers are high energy and knowledgeable about every item on the menu.The food is another great addition to this restaurant.The food is authentic, fresh and overly comforting. The size portions are more than enough to fill you up. I love the fact that I dont have to ask if something is vegan on the menu or not. That is how all restaurants should be in my opinion. My mother (who is not vegan yet) RAVED for hours about the food. I would also 10/10 reccomend the cheesecake. While visiting Tampa I was looking up places for my pops because he does not eat meat, and me being allergic to dairy I often have to go the vegan route myself. Let me tell you we found a truly magical place.(No hyperbole) The staff there is extremely friendly and professional while still treating you like family. Now lets talk about the food. This place managed to take the some of the most unhealthy but tasty comfort food and make them into magnificently tasty all natural and all meatless well prepared food. Went there three days I was in Tampa and I ate some of everything from the desserts to the smoothies to the vegan entrees, everything was beyond expectations. Finally, I will talk about that CHEESECAKE that is making me contemplate moving to Tampa!!! The coconut cheesecake that the mom there made was better than any real cheesecake I have ever eaten in my life. This place was a truly exceptional experience from the food to the people. I wish them much success and if you are in Tampa and want a good meal vegan or not...GOTO Vegan International...Wow

These guys were soooooo incredibly nice. The empanadas were gobbled up on the drive home, and the rest of the food was great. I of course went for the sides because Im a sucker for variety. They have a lot of vegan products in the store as well, so its a great place to stock up on everything!

I am vegan so I hate leaving a 1 star review for this place. But the handful of times I have been here something always goes wrong from them forgetting part of my order when I take out or them ridiculously skimping on the meat portion to the point it is laughable. Rotten spinach in my wrap this time. Explosive diarrhea about 15 minutes after eating it. Should have sent it back to the kitchen and asked for money back instead of just picking it out and I highly regret not doing so. This is unacceptable to serve. You will get much more for your money at Loving hut or anywhere else really and not be fed rotten food. This place is always trying to cut corners and Ive had enough this time.

Holy wow - if you’re vegan/vegetarian or not at all...this place is just...wow. that was all I kept saying when I first ate here. from the plantains, to the chickpea dish, to the drumsticks, right down to the sauces. will be back A LOT and 10/10 recommend if you’re in the Tampa Bay Area.

Worst customer service ever. My husband is on a very strict diet right now and when I attempted to ask about a particular sandwich, the guy cut me off, was impatient and argumentative. I showed him my past orders from Postmates and proved his arguing incorrect. I would prefer to order though Postmates so I do not have any contact but they told me they keep Postmates offline because they do not want to pay the 25% fee. Postmates also has different food selections than their online menu and we prefer the Postmates menu.

Absolutely fantastic! Second time here and its just as good as the first! So this is a small little place in a strip mall a they have a few items for sale like some beauty products and vegan snacks, a few vegan supplements, and a bunch of vegan cheeze.The staff are fantastic, super friendly and welcoming! They are very knowledgeable and excitedly explain every bit of the menu to you if you are unsure. I even heard them call almost everyone who came in the door by name!That said A LOT about a place, when they are good enough to have that many regulars to know most of them by name.The food was fantastic, as was their desserts! I highly recommend checking them out!This time I enjoyed the sweet and spicy meatballs, the Mac and cheeze, and the candied yams as well as a slice of carrot cake, and I dont have a single complaint, especially the Mac and cheeze was the best Ive had!Ill definitely be back!

If I could only choose one restaurant to eat out at it would very likely be Vegan International. Ive tried several of their menu items & have never been disappointed. Ive ordered their catering just because I needed to introduce as many people as possible to their delicious food. If you need a suggestion - try the drumsticks, you will thank me later! They also sell vegan grocery items that I dont typically find at other places. On top of all this, the staff & owners are beyond amazing. Im so happy to support this small family-owned business & cannot recommend it enough!

THE GO TO VEGAN RESTAURANT PEOPLE. You can not go wrong here. They are an absolute delight as soon as you walk in the door, most of the time it is the owner who is taking orders at the cash register and she is the sweetest woman. The food comes out pretty darn fast considering how busy they always are. The milkshakes are to DIE FOR and don’t even get me started on the Mac and cheese. I would say my family comes just for that. It’s incredible. They have other vegan items besides their hot food that you can purchase if you don’t have time to wait around. All in all amazing people, amazing food. :))

First time picking up an order here and I am blown away. Jackfruit empanada has a perfect texture and spicy flavors. The chick pea and potato empanada had a wonderful curry flavor. We also got the veggie plate (yams/rice/plantains, Mac & chz) which was incredible. The Mac and cheese was the best vegan Mac I’ve ever had, hands down. I don’t often review businesses but I am very impressed and will definitely be back.

I really just love this place. It genuinely feels like a part of the community — from the photos on the wall, to the greetings and conversations with the staff, to the people who come to eat here. The food is always freshly made and quite tasty. Menu options are fresh, creative, and thoughtful. Makes me want to eat vegan more and more often.

I got a NY Cheesesteak, I hate I didn’t take a picture before I threw it away! It was a very small portion of “meat” in what looked liked sweet potato baby food. I’m usually able to finish bad food but $10 in the trash literally. The Mac is super bland as well. This 1 star is for the pattie to be honest.

There is Vegan, and then there is Vegan. When you walk in youre greeted with a smile. The owner and staff are top notch! The food is wonderful, and seasoned to perfection. The portions are large and reasonably priced.

Service was amazing, if anyone deserves to run a successful business it is them! Every single thing I ordered tasted amazing, definitely trust their recommendations if you havent been here before. The drumsticks were so good, if you like spice get the jerk flavor, its perfect. All the sides I got were tasty, seasoned perfectly, loved the mac & cheese and broccoli together. Decor is cozy, nothing fancy, but they keep it clean which is whats important. I cant rave about this place enough honestly.

For those of us transitioning into veganism, this place is a must go. The hardest part about becoming a vegetarian or vegan is feeling like your options are limited or youre still hungry or missing flavor. The staff at this location are extremely helpful with this. Their food options offer a good variety with tons of flavor, and you can buy the ingredients to make it at home from the store. Their smoothies and desserts are also delicious - you dont feel like youre missing out at all. I have a feeling places like this are going to become more and more common as people become more socially aware. Im very thankful for this place!

The food here is amazing. They really know what they are doing. Price is fair compared to some Vegan places that really try to gouge. They have great variety and are always offering new things that taste amazing. Staff VERY helpful. They are in this business because it is their passion and it is obvious. :)

I usually get the meatball sub and empanadas when I visit. Listen, Ive been a vegetarian for 10 years and have eaten at HUNDREDS of restaurants around the country. This is easily in the top 5 places Ive frequented in regards to flavor and taste. Its the number 1 spot related to customer service. That young lady at the front counter IS customer service incarnate!!! Keep up the good work.

This food is AMAZING!!! I got the Veggie Platter with sweet potatoes, cabbage, collards, and curry chickpeas. The Taco empanada and Jerk empanada made my husband forget that he was eating vegan food. Stellas job!

Came here for the first time yesterday. Ordered a variety items and all were excellent. In addition they have a very well run curb side pickup process in response to the pandemic.

Delicious vegan options. I had a gyro and daughter had meatball sandwich. The lemonade was refreshing and tasty. Good doughnuts though a little pricey. Very friendly service. They have a small market too

Im in love! I try to eat plant based when possible, and having traditional omni food available veganized is pretty much the best thing ever. I got the veggie plate with mac n cheese, balsamic glazed broccoli, cabbage and carrots, and the collard greens. The portion size was massive, everything was really tasty and fresh, and everyone I interacted with was beyond nice! I cant wait to come back and try more things, and I cant wait to show my friends that vegan food can be very tasty!

Very cute little place. I had the gyro and mac and cheese, and finished it off with a chocolate milkshake. Really delicious. The girl in the front was so sweet and knowledgeable too. I will definitely return one day, I just wish I lived closer!
