I have to say I am very impressed with this establishment. The owner works the front counter and talks to every customer. The wait staff was very poignant and attentive. The food was spectacular and the portions are huge. The one negative criticism that I could make is that the prices are definitely a little high. I have to admit though the burger is one of the best Ive had in the whole city. I got the empire State Burger because it says its one of the biggest in town on the menu. The menu was not lying. This is huge freaking burger. If you like to eat big burgers I suggest ordering one for yourself. You will not be disappointed if you eat here.
Yesterday we were looking for a cool diner experience and we found Foody’s on Yelp. Since it was rated very high we decided to make the drive to Tampa for a late lunch. We ordered the Foody’s Sampler appetizer (fried mozzerella sticks, jalapeño poppers, onion rings served with 3 sauces, marinara, ranch and Foody’s sauce), the French Toast Burger Bacon Cheeseburger served on French Toast) with a side of potato salad and the California Skillet (3 eggs, seasoned potatoes, avocado, cheddar cheese, onions, peppers, ham and bacon). The portion sizes were sizable. The Foody’s Sampler was ok, the mixer tells sticks were tasty and prepared well, the jalapeño poppers seemed like they may have spent too long in the freezer(but then they do at many places we have been) the onion rings were ok but could have been a bit more crisp. The French Toast burger was lacking taste. The French Toast was tasty but the burger Patty, while thick lacked flavor. I’d order the French Toast minus the burger if we were to return. The potato salad had a really nice flavor and I would certainly order that again. The California Skillet was ordered without ham and bacon. While it was sizable, it really was lacking flavor. This was even more disappointing as the ingredients listed “seasoned” potatoes included. There was no taste of seasoning.The restaurant is a good size place housed in a well kept older building. The servers and manager were all friendly and attentive and we did not call attention to our disappointment. The food items just lacked flavor. Since this restaurant has a high average rating, this may have just been an off day for the kitchen.
This was our first time there and it will not be our last!! They had so many choices but I ended getting the French Toast burger....yeah you read that right. Served with fries. This burger was seriously the best burger Ive ever had. It comes with cheese and bacon on it with maple syrup on the side. It was absolutely lights out delicious. Im not sure but I think the owner came to the table and asked how it was....I replied with was this your idea? He said yes, I told him he was a genius!!! He then gave a sample of a new sauce that will making its way to the menu. All I can say is I will be back for round 2 with that burger new sauce. Great atmosphere. Server was extremely nice with a great personality. Excellent place for a family to enjoy a delicious meal!!! Oh and the dessert.....sweet Jesus. Highly highly recommend!!!
This place is amazing. The food tastes absolutely delicious. The prices are fair and the portion sizes are very generous. We loved it so much we had to come back, and I know well be back on our next trip. The staff is very friendly and we got treated like family. If I could give it more starts I would.
Found this place one very hungover weekend, don’t post reviews but they took such good care of us we have come back for months and will continue to do so. I’d love to say there was a particular person who made it great but every one in the place takes great care of you and the food is more delicious than you expect it to; the Mimosas are perfect everytime 👌; highly recommend the chicken and waffles!! comfortable booths and welcoming atmosphere.
Food and service was really good. Prices were decent and staff was attentive. Ordered the Spanish omelette added bacon with toast & grits, then the breakfast burrito with home fries (bf did two orders of this), and an order of mimosas. Were here on vaca & could definitely see us coming back while were here.
I had an amazing experience at Foody’s! They were all super friendly and super welcoming! It’s such a cozy place, the food was good. We ordered their today’s special spinach pie with greek salad and soup and the gyro platter the portions are huge and the prices are good! It will definitely be my go to spot. The service was exceptional!🌟🌟🌟🌟
I want to like Foodies but they make it impossible. I think this restaurant could be great if they simply learned some restraint, less is more is not a concept they understand. The menu has a bazillions items on it that they have never nailed when I’ve ordered. Perhaps if they scaled it back a bit they could concentrate on perfecting what they are doing. I got food twice this week. I ordered eggs Benedict that were literally drowning in Hollandaise sauce, so much that the English muffin was so soggy it was disgusting. When I tried to move the egg to the side at least a tablespoon of uncooked egg whites came running out. They gave me enough hash browns to feed the a small country. Our second order was a breakfast burrito that had so much cheese it was insane but it almost covered the way over cooked omelette sort of thing in the tortilla, pictures below. Earlier in the week my 10 year old wanted chicken and yellow rice. We live in a predominantly Hispanic area and have some of the best restaurants offering Spanish, Peruvian, and Latino food. The yellow rice has smoked kielbasa in it and that was the overriding flavor. It was so weird with big clumsy peppers, nothing as it traditionally is cooked. They have some good flavors, I just wish they would learn some restraint. If you want a glutinous portions and quantity over quality is what you want, Foodies is for you.
The owners are great guys. I did some work on the establishment all day today and I was lucky enough to try the pepperoni pizza after my work day and wow, it was amazing ! Great family run restaurant ran by great people. I’m looking forward to coming here and trying more items !
So disappointed. There was this waitress that was turning up her nose & frowning every single time she walked by our table. She stops at the table and slams a jar of water on the table and we dont know what the heck she mumbled as she walked away. Just rude! We ordered a burger, chicken tenders, pork chops and a large pizza. The pork chops were dry as the Sahara. Ceasar salad was an upcharge, that I wouldnt have minded paying if it were good. We never got the baked potato that came with the pork chops. The manager gave us 20% off but I was completely turned off by the disrespectful waitress with the attitude. I will not be returning. Im sure that mean mugging wench will be glad. The pizza and burger were good tho.Edit: the woman did NOT have her mask on when she came to the table. It was hanging from her ears. A smile and politeness goes a long way
Love this place only complaint is the soda. I think the machine needs to be cleaned or replaced. Soda taste flat every visit.
Pizza was excellent. I had the small veggie and could only eat half. Crispy crust and fresh veggies. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and pizza! Beer and wine. I came here to check it out and i will be back. The prices are reasonable and the menu is expansive. They were playing my favorite type of music and also had on news on some of their flat screen tvs. There are booths, tables and a nice bar. A very welcoming and happy place. Relaxing and plenty of parking. This used to be an ABC pizza house, but now brothers from Greece have expanded the menu in a great way. I will be back many times.
Cant say enough good things about this place. Local ownership, very reasonable prices, super friendly and super attentive staff makes this place want you to keep coming back. There are a lot of Greek selections and Greek twists on your comfort food favorites. The kitchen staff evidently takes a lot of pride in their work - they seem to love the feedback.

Found our new local spot. Food is home made and delicious. Owner very polite, stopped by and chatted with us. Gyros was good and the soup was authentic Greek and one of best Ive ever had (my wife is Greek). Will become a regular and keep trying different things. Daily specials as well as authentic Greek specials. Very reasonably prices. Good food, good atmosphere, great service. Opa UPDATE: Beware 10/29 while checking my banking on line, found they added $7.00 to my debit card transaction after we picked up our to go order. Not cool! Went back, got our $7 but really? Last time for us.
Absolutely phenomenal. I can not speak highly enough about how truly outstanding the staff and management is here. This is our 3rd visit and each time weve been here has been better than the last.Today, we stopped with the kids for breakfast. Everything came out quickly, correctly, and delicious!Well definitely be back, again and again.Pro tip: Switch to Heinz Ketchup. Frenchs is trash. 😂😂😂

We were in town for just a day and found this place before we flew out. It must have just opened because we were the only ones seated. The place is clean and well spaced. Our server was soooooooooo sweet and so polite. Everytime she came to or left our table, she excused herself. She made great recommendations and brought us everything we needed. The food was 🔥🔥🔥. The steak skillet was delicious. The French toast was very tasty, and my fiances loaded hash browns were absolutely phenomenal. Hearty food at a good price. Large portions. Good mimosas. Great service. Wed definitely return and highly recommend! Spent $49 and left a $50 tip.
I was new to this restaurant, but I will be back! I had the country eggs Benedict and hash browns. My friend had the spinach pie, which comes with soup and Greek salad. All was delicious. The servers, and I think the owner, all were attentive. So happy to have a great diner in the area!
This restaurant has wonderful customer service!! Wait staff, manager, and even the bus girl made sure we were enjoying our meal and asked if we needed anything. The food was delicious as well. The hot food came out extremely and fresh and the house salad dressing was very yummy. We most definitely will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a 5 star lunch at foodys. She had the Greek salad which had all very wonderful fresh ingredients and the tast was very excellent. I had the gyro sandwich - generous serving of meat, tomatoes lettuce etc and sauce so good! Best gyro in many years! Will certainly return!!
The gyro platter was large and meat was fantastic. We also had the club sandwich and it was very good as well. If youre looking for lemon chicken soup theirs is excellent.
Great food and awesome service. Management does a fantastic job. Online ordering is extremely easy and they take as much care with it as they do with in house guests.

This is the best place to eat! I call it a little “mom and pop shop” because it’s so cute and the food is definitely reasonably priced. It’s like eating dinner at grandmas house. The service is amazing. Everyone on the staff checks on you throughout your meal and the food comes fast. You definitely get your money’s worth with the portion sizes and it’s SO good. 20/10. Definitely will be a regular here
Eggplant Parmesan was terrible. Sent it back the new one came out ice cold cheese was not even melted. The pizza was terrible. Chicken parmesan didnt taste right. That use pizza sauce on the chicken parmesan and the eggplant. The thing that I found interesting was they had a book of old Tampa. The service was good though.
Great service and the food is amazing! Cant get enough of their soup but everything from pizza to wine to subs thus far have been on point. Highly recommend!
My family went for the first time recently. We had mixed feelings. Staff we excellent. Very friendly. 1 person got a breakfast meal and thought it was good. The other got a sandwich and didnt like it. I got a club sandwich and thought it was great. I also tried there pancakes and liked those as well.My only complaint was the price. It cost me $53. I felt it was very high for the items we got. It cost me more for 2 chocolate milk then it would if I had bought an entire gallon. That would be my only reason for not going back. A price doesnt matter to you, then I would say this is a good place to go.
We went two days in a row, thats how amazing it is! Everyone who was working in there were also really nice. Will definitely go again if we go back to the Tampa area!
The food was absolutely amazing! This restaurant has been open a little less than a month & I had heard about it from some friends who recommended it. It’s owned by a Greek family & the atmosphere is very welcoming & the location is super clean. I tried it for the first time & I am very impressed! I ordered 10 jumbo wings & a small special pizza. The wings were enormous & cooked fresh & the pizza had heavy portions of toppings which gave it rich flavor but not overpowering! Great quality, flavor, & portion size for the very modest price! I’ll definitely be coming back!
My burger experience here was pretty awful actually. I asked for medium and got well done. Dry. The burger was just the patty with cheese and a bun. No sauces. Extra dry. The fixins, soggy warm lettuce, soggy hot tomato, and onions were on the side. Could barely eat it with the limp, warm lettuce and the hot gooey tomato. Didnt help that it had no flavor of its own and all I had was ketchup so it was basically a ketchup burger. Kinda gross. Wont be going back for a burger, but maybe Ill try something else of theirs?
Um. 10+ dollars for a burger the fries were extra?!?! And its a regular burger not bigger. Or anything. Menu was alot but jus too expensive for my taste. Went to village inn n enjoy all you can eat fish fyi that was cheaper than the burger from foodys u want to eat n over pay than a must go...
Excellent food. Will be definitely bringing my family here again. We had a Gyro platter and a Greek burger on spot!! Not to mention excellent staff. Will be back
This place is great!!! The menu has so many options, and yet everything we ordered seemed like it was their speciality menu item. The service was also great! I highly recommend this place.

Gus and his crew have an amazing establishment!!! Perfect service. Wonderful food. Wings and pork chop entrees were tasteful and beautifully presented on the plate. Server, was knowledgeable and very courteous. Out of town and walked to the restaurant and will definitely walk here again tomorrow!! Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

It’s always amazing to me when seemingly simple food can be leaps and bounds better than normal. This is the case with Foodys omelettes. Their portion sizes are extremely generous, and they are delicious. Their home fries are also very good, opting for larger potatoes that are uniquely cut as opposed to the pre diced home fries that many restaurants around here serve. Add in the fact that they serve breakfast all day (my family tends to be late starters), and this is our go to breakfast place.
Interesting place. All our meals were ok not bad not great. I decided to try something Interesting French toast burger, didnt work for me. Service was great except when we went to leave the employees were standing around huddled up watching a video on one of there phones laughing and didnt pay any attention to us.
The food here is so delicious!! I got the chicken and waffles and my wife got the kitchen breakfast special with the French toast I cleaned my plate and tired to eat hers as well I highly recommend this place and everyone here is super friendly!!
Wow! This place gives you a lot of food!! I have eaten here twice now, for lunch take out. The Patty melt is delicious, and very filling!
Never disappoints! This family is amazing! Such a quality atmosphere and food to match. The portions are huge. The prices are fair. And cleanliness that goes above and beyond. These guys dont do anything bare minimum. (Even the corners of the bathroom shine! No stone unturned.) The servers always have a cheerful attitude. Guests are well attended to and the Manager on duty always checks every table; not like a big corporate chain where they were told to in some guide book, but because they care about everything they do. I have mad respect for the way they do things at Foodys and reccomend this establishment with great pride.
Absolutely Amazing...I was waiting to see my neurosurgeon who was running behind a couple hours, so I went blindly down the street to grab a bite to eat...I found Foodys down the street. To my surprise its the same owners as my all time favorite Breakfast place by my house across town...Mamas Kitchen on Florida Ave. We just ate breakfast there yesterday and Today lunch at Foddys... After reviewing the menu(s) there were three...with Amazing incredible options...if you were hungry for it, it was on there. I gave it a shot for the nice size helping Liver and Grilled Onions, Mashed Red Potatoes, Mixed Veggies and a side salad. I couldnt say enough good things about it. Just became one of my favorites! Kudos to two of my favorite restaurants!!!!

Ive been here many times with various family members. The service here is excellent!! Ive thoroughly enjoyed all the food Ive personally had especially the greek salad and the lemon chicken soup - theyre awesome!! The only time I had issue one time was with chicken wings...they were pretty small, but tasty. We returned them with no problem. I really enjoy coming here and continue to return. 🤗
Foodys is such a great place. I live close to it so its a go to for a quick bite to eat and the owner is really involved with his guests which i always think is a nice touch in any restaurant and shows how much they care about their business.I alway get superb food at great prices with even better service.
Definitely a new favorite spot!! our server was so sweet and polite, the food was super tasty, and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. it has a great balance of modern with a classic diner feel, with an incredibly extensive menu. if youre craving something this place probably has it. i had a really nice time here and definitely plan on coming back. thank you guys for the great afternoon
This was our first visit. We went in looking for our new favorite local restaurant. Nick met us when we came in and welcome us warmly. Our server Monce, did a great job of taking care of us. Everything was very good and the portions were good size. We will be back. Cant say its our new favorite yet, but it has great possibilities!
Everything was great, I had a gyro salad that was huge. And we had some of the double fried wings that were excellent also we had some of the pizza that was very good. And to boot they had great service everyone there is extremely pleasant I even left my phone and she ran outside with it to catch me even though I was already getting out of the car to get it but that was very sweet of the waitress.
You get more food than you can eat in one sitting.

I took my wife to Tampa for a short trip. We were in search of breakfast and came to the spot. The food was superb and the staffing A class!!!. Definitely coming back on our return to Tampa.
It was our first time eating at Foodys. The menu was massive...so hard to choose. I love that they serve breakfast all day! The food was pretty good here. Huge portions!! My only suggestion for this visit would be this: You can tell that the veggies were boiled. Dont boil your veggies. Steam instead. The green beans were almost grey in color and filled with water. My plate had water present when I poked the green beans with my fork. Other than that, Perfection! The greek style pork chops were delicious! Juicy and tender. The side salad was fresh with a very nice mix of greens. I will definitely be going back.
The restaurant manager was extremely helpful and friendly. There was a good selection at the salad bar. The prices were excellent.

I wasn’t so sure about this place when I looked it up. With having only recently opened and five stars I was a little skeptical. I have to say, this was a special treat. Foodies has a very large menu for breakfast. As I skipped dinner last night I was seriously hungry for some real food and ordered the New York strip breakfast. It was a legit steak! Seasoned perfectly, thick cut, and cooked to perfection! The server even had me cut the steak to make sure it was cooked to my liking before she left the table. I have to say, Foodys has done a great job renovating the building, creating a menu, and preparing delicious food. I will definitely be back often.
Food isn’t that good at all, service is terrible, they struggle with bringing lunch & dinner menus, like what is the problem?? they took forever to bring me my water and brought everyone else waters, don’t come here it’s one of the worst places to go
