I signed up as a volunteer at the Dancing Goat in December 2020. This dairy farm and animal sanctuary/rescue is beyond amazing. The love for the animals and the people here is very rare in this world. The staff is a very small one, and we wear masks to protect each other. We cant afford for our main team members to get sick. Some also have elderly parents and people we want to be careful for. I appreciate the safety precautions taken. We all love this little place very much.
The Dancing Goat is an incredible farm. Pam and her fellow farmers are passionate, knowledgeable, incredibly hard working and frankly, my heroes! Their products are all amazing and their animals are healthy and happy. Their safe practices also not only protect the amazing workers and volunteers, but protect me as well! I am thankful that I can feel safe when I go there. We all need to be supporting our local farmers, and this farm is one you can trust!
We absolutely love the products from this farm! The goat milk, cheese curds, and yogurt are so delicious! It is very refreshing to meet someone that cares so much for the animals! I personally appreciate the safety procedures she has in place during these times to keep her staff and her guests as safe as possible. The Air B and B experience is super fun if you get a chance to take it!
I first discovered The Dancing Goat late last year and decided to volunteer along with my teen daughter. We both quickly fell in love with the farm, the animals and with Pam and everyone else who works and volunteers there. What I thought would be a single day per week for one kidding season has turned into four days a week and signing on for the summer season. Health and safety are always top priority. The products sold are top quality and made with care and love. I’m hooked on the feta cheese and many of the specialty cheeses as well.
What a wonderful group of people on this farm. The team work and the love that is shown to the lovely animals is just priceless. Getting an opportunity to volunteer here has just brought joy and smiles to my heart. I feel safe here, from the support from the workers and the owner Miss Pam always being there whenever we may need her to the mask wearing for the farm people and customers as well. Excellent job keeping us safe and happy.
Great place for locally produced products. Pam and her team keep the farm clean and tidy, animals have more space than seen in other farms that sell to the public. Animals are healthy and well cared for. Thank you Dancing Goat!
I absolutely love their eggs! Ive been buying them at the market all season. I love to see eggs in different colors/shades. The staff are such kind friendly people. They say the eggs can last up to 3 months in the fridge! Save your empty egg cartons (any kind) and bring them back!
The Dancing Goat has been a wonderful place for four of my six kids (blended family) to volunteer in one capacity or another over the years. It was the only place I felt safe for the two youngest (16 and 17) to go during the beginning of the pandemic due to her strict covid protocols. She not only takes care of animals she takes care of teenagers. If she wants people to wear a mask outside, wear a mask. Support local farms!!!😉
I love this place! I get the freshest eggs there. Every time Ive been there everyone has been awesome and Pam is a rockstar. They even have emus! The dancing goat farm is a hidden gem in Tampa Bay.
This farm has amazing products and cares about every single one of the animals as well customers and volunteers. Her safety precautions for covid have been spot on and its much appreciated. Glad to have been a volunteer though a tough time.
Always GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SMILING FACES, GOD BLESS PAM/ the people that work along side her, the farm animals(lots) if you havent made a visit you are missing out, just wonderful place...
Farm is located in a residential neighborhood and is filled with a plethora of animals (never seen an emu in person before). Great story behind the creation of this working non profit farm. Tour included information about all the animals (you get to feed them too) and specifically the goats. The tour concluded with a tasting of their wonderful cheeses. The owner/tour Guide Pam was wonderful and look forward to trying the goat milk soaps we purchased.
Ive been buying eggs from this farm nearly every week (at the Saturday Morning Market in St Pete) for years. They are so much better than store-bought: fresh, tasty, real. Ive bought goats milk, and it is 1000 times better than anything from the supermarket. The feta cheese & chèvre is also fabulous! I recently visited the Farm, and was so impressed by the treatment of the animals- a ton of work, and love, goes into this urban farm. I like to know where my food comes from, and that its created cleanly, sustainably, and humanely. Dancing Goat Farm is a gem in this community.
My 2 and I stumbled upon this hidden treasure 6 years ago, thanks to 2 of my nieces. My son has been a volunteer ever since, and I was in the kitchen for a year. Who knew that this little piece of Heaven-On-Earth was so close?! I cant tell you how much the DancingGoatFarm, our FearlessLeader Pam, and the rest of our FarmFamily means to my 2 and me. Being around the animals, learning about farm life, and having the opportunity to help make the delicious products that they sell has been an awesome experience. Every visit/shift feels like youve just had the best free therapy session . All of the team members are hard working and knowledgeable, and theres almost nothing that Pam doesnt know or cant do. She is amazing to watch and her customers love her. People come from all over just to buy her products, and many have been customers for years. We are so thankful that we found the Dancing Goat Farm. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
I was fortunate to have gotten a behind the scenes look at how this farm was run and to have gotten to know the owner, Pam. My daughter and I volunteered at The Dancing Goat weekly for many months and learned so much. First and foremost, Pam is extraordinarily dedicated to the farm and to saving animals. She is the heart and soul of this farm. She not only has goats, but has taken in several abused animals, animals that had nowhere to go and animals that were abandoned. She also fosters kittens and cats for the Humane Society until they can find homes. She takes in many sick cats and cares for them on the farm until they are ready to be adopted. She makes room for each of them and cares for them like her own. As a volunteer I helped care for these animals and learned from Pam all that goes into keeping a farm running.I don’t often leave reviews- not as often as I should. But today I saw that someone gave this farm a one star review because they were asked to wear a mask. I have never heard Pam talk about politics; she is busy minding her business. However, she is someone that has been, and is going through, a lot from a health perspective. She is trying to make sure this farm stays afloat by protecting herself and others that volunteer there. If she get sick, all these animals will suffer. Shame on anyone for condemning that or her. She hates wearing a mask as much as the next guy, but she has protect herself and the farm.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend an AirBNB tour of this farm and a chance to see how she runs things. They have adorable baby goats at different parts of the year. Stop by and try the farm fresh eggs or goat cheese. It’s a humble farm, but you can feel the love as soon as you walk on the property. I’m proud to have volunteered there and hope to return for the next winter season.
A working farm (largely animal husbandry) producing goat milk & cheese. Fresh eggs (chicken). Other animals are raised exp. Ducks. Rabbits. Etc. Volunteer opportunities. Call first for info or to find out what is available and appts.
Found through Airbnb experiences. Loved the tour of the farm, and the milk products. Highly recommend.
Dancing Got just launched their soap business online at DancingGoatSoaps.com. If you love their farm, you will love their soaps. The website makes it easy to spread the dancing goats’ wonderful products
Great place, super clean!!! You will find lot of knowledge and excellent quality product like goat milk, eggs and even homemade soap.
This is a hidden gem for sure. I had the pleasure of a visit and was blown away with all they do. Hidden in an upper middle class neighborhood is a most wonderful farm. Everyone was super nice and we even got a tour of the place. A must see and do when in Tampa. They do AirBNB tours. With taste testing after the tour. They sell wonderful products of goat milk, cheese, and more. A must see and do. Cant wait to go back.
Needs to be cleaned up, too much trash laying around. Besides that it is a awesome place for saving the animals. Plus a awesome array of different kinds of Our Feathered Friends.
I bought raw goat milk yesterday and prepared my coffee with it in the morning today. Coffee tastes so fresh and delicious that it beats all kind of whole / A2 / organic milk from the retail as well as wholesale stores.Kudos to Pam and team; great job in maintaining the quality. The effort you all put is tremendous. I would like to visit farm myself and pet the animals and congratulate each one of you!
We have loved this farm for years. My neices, nephew started volunteering there many moons ago. Now my teens volunteer at the farm when available.FARM DAY is fantastic twice a year when we can bring our small kids and friends to tour - meet the team - and enjoy fun live music with the farm.A working farm is an experience everyone should see in person. The local small farmer is what made this country great, and in my family we LOVE making sure we support The Dancing Goat.LOVE the goatsmilk soap, cant get better fresh feta, and the delicate cheese choices are top notch chef quality.Thank you Mrs. Pam for caring about teaching the next generation what life can look like.
Been purchasing from them for years! Everything is great and I have never been disappointed:)
I cant express enough the love, dedication and quality Pam puts into her products, animals and farm. This is a real farm. With fresh, raw real goat and cow milk, dairy, cheese and fresh eggs of all types and handmade soaps. My Standard Poodles & I could not be happier or use fresher or more high quality foods. And the State of Florida is behind her!.
Awesome spot with great, cant live without, products!
We are very fortunate to have a place like this nearby -- and humane treatment of animals is a TOP priority for me. This is a welcoming and supportive place to buy from and we are supporting a LOCAL, small business.
I visited The Dancing Goat farm when I bought some goat milk and eggs. It is obvious the love this lady has for her animals and the level of care is superior. As the daughter of a farmer, I know what work it takes to keep a farm running smoothly and she does it with very little help. The barn is clean, the animals exhibit excellent health, there are not smells and the animals share the love for their caretaker running to the fence to get petted everytime she is near. Quaint would be a good description of the farm. This should be an example of urban farming done right. With farms like this sprouting up, I have no fear of our food supply. She also has a large organic garden on the property but there were no vegetables ready for purchase. The milk was delicious, so my pet says, and the eggs were fabulous. I will return again for products and be proud to be part of this farmers future.
Wonderful place and amazing products!! Will definitely be returning!!
I have been using the Dancing Goat soaps for about a year now and they are amazing! I have very sensitive skin, I am allergic to artificial flavors/ scents but these are made with essential oils so I have never had a problem. Also, I have struggled with acne since I was a kid, so Ive always been cautious about the products I use. Low and behold, these soaps just work magic! They keep my skin clear and exfoliated and I HIGHLY recommend them. I love the Eucalyptus Spearmint, Gardenia and the new Lemongrass Charcoal! But whatever scent you like they probably have it, and it doesnt hurt to try it out!
I am so glad to had found The Dancing Goat Farm. It is great to be able to find this products right close to home. It is a pleasure to deal with the owner who is very caring about her goats and has many loyal customers.
Dear Dancing Goats... Glad to hear of the successful kidding season. Might I ask one thing? You refer to your products as Raw Milk, etc. It would make a better impression if you would change the term to Whole Milk instead. The governments who hate real food are the ones who use the term Raw Milk to make our products sound dangerous to the public. Compare the words: Whole or Raw...which one sounds more healthy? Thank you.
Love love love this place! Happy goats and chickens producing wonderful products. Cant recommend enough.
Very knowledgeable and the animals are well cared for on the farm. They are very involved in the community.
Friendly, lots of manure for us to pick up. (Used to create soil.) Goats, chickens, ducks in many breeds.
Pam is a wonderful person, after I believe over 1 year of being out of the country on business, she remembers me. It is difficult to remember to speak of the milk that she sells as being for non human consumption and to refer to it as Raw Milk rather than the natural product that can bring such good health (ahem...to your pets of course). It seems strange that other states do not require labeling Raw Milk as for human consumption. I guess this is one of the sins we must suffer as Floridians. In case anyone does not know, Pam also deals in Raw Cows milk and products. God Bless you Pam, may your dairy exist for ever. (and I still do not believe you are older than me) All my best to you.... Reverend Fred
Would you guys accept 2 male neutered goats? One is a pygmy and the other is a Nigerian dwarf. My friend and I are unable to keep them and we dont want to bring them to the spca
I have a question I might be getting a baby goat and I was wondering if you guys stabilize goats
