Taaza Mart has a huge selection of foods that arent available in most American supermarkets, especially south Asian foods. Lots of spices and ingredients, lots of frozen foods and fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as condiments and other things.Today we went and had lunch at the cafeteria within the store. There was a big selection of vegetarian dishes, and since the food is all laid out behind the glass, those of us who arent familiar with the names of Indian dishes can see what we are ordering instead of guessing from the menu. The food was really good.They also have deserts, but we were too full.

Initially when they had started I really liked the place. Its still good but they have increased the prices too rapidly and way more than other Indian stores. Eventually, they might lose many customers if they keep doing this.

While the food may be good, the service is horrible. Advised by Nagendra T that the food would be ready in 10 minutes but waited almost 40 minutes while they take new orders and leave the food standing. Only interested in new orders and once youve paid they dont seem to give a damn as they have your money.Ordered the Weekend Special of Tandoori Chicken with Garlic Mayonnaise, just got bland chicken without the Garlic Mayo. WRather give this place a miss if you value your time and money as they are quick to short change you.

I ordered naatukodi iguru listed as weekend special for to go. When we opened it we surprised to see the dish looks like Rajugari kodi palav tried last weekend and we are right in guessing.This has absolutely no taste and seemed not fresh. Moreover this is not made of Naatukodi(naatukodi iguru). They played very good to give away the left over food made of chicken.

Not sure why they make very very spicy food, even after our special mention for Medium spicy, by the time of order. At last, I had to trash the ordered food and got a pizza for lunch.I don’t prefer to order food at Taaza Mart cafe again.

A very good Indian groceries competitor to Patel Brothers in Tampa. Great grocery deals during Dasara and Diwali. Quality products; The food in cafeteria is good. After a good grocery shopping when you definitely need a snack break, must go. Chai, Samosa, Mysore bonda will definitely refresh anyone. Felt prices are little high, though.

They will never make medium or less spicy biryani (especially Veg biryani). I don’t know why can’t they serve with less spice. Tried like 5 times but every time it’s getting extremely spicy. Never ever going to buy

Great spot for some quick Indian food. Loved the combo with the warm roti, the selection of vegetarian options was also great! Good value for your money and highly recommend the Mango Lassi for a drink. If you arent familiar with Indian food, this is a good place to see what they have and shop a little at the grocery store, too!

The place offers young goat, country chicken, quail. The restaurant is great 👍.But the grocery section is still missing many essentials when compared with Patel or House of spices.

Stop mixing lamb meat in the goat curry. This is the third time I have experienced with the goat curry and goat biryani before. You can rename your goat curry to lamb curry.The guy at the counter today was so bad he was not even giving the dishes right quantities for the price we are paying.On One other day, I ordered Mysore bajjj to take home and they forgot to give chutneys and I informed them next day at the counter and those guys did even bother to say sorry and compensate.I am done with this place.

The store doesn’t remove expired products. Please ensure to check the dates before purchase. The product expiry was July 24, but still, they kept the product for about a month which is strange. They replace the product if you visit the store l.

Really cool Indian food Mart in the same shopping center as BJs in Tampa palms. Tons of awesome options, smells amazing as you walk around. There is also a cafe inside which serves food! Highly recommend

Recently relocated to this area, I found this store while visiting the Petsmart next door. I was pleasantly surprised at the over all larger size of the store. The store had a good selection of groceries. Well stocked. I found everything I was shopping for.I was also excited to see they made fresh hot Roti .The store had plenty of friendly staff to help me find what I needed. The store was kept very clean. Cleanliness is is a must for me.

What an awesome Mart went there today because I wanted to try new spices in my vegan/vegatrain cooking. I ran into a heaven on earth, the lady at the cash register was very helpful in telling me the different flavors of the whole aisle 3 of spices. A bakery, hot deli fresh naan bread, it goes on n on and awesome prices.

I got the eggless ( no egg) pastry from the section where they specifically said that it has no eggs. My daughter whi severely allergic to egg ate 2 bite of pastry and her reactions to egg came out instantly. The so called eggless pastries had eggs in it.Why would u label it as eggless and still has egg in it. Wld never buy anything from there .

Initially the quality of food and service used to be really good. Not sure if the management had changed or something, everyone now there are very arrogant and dis respectful.I called once and they just asked me to call me back because they were busy! I mean they dont even have the minimum courtesy to call back !?!Another time some person lifted my call and he was talking to someone else ! Why did you have to lift my call if you were busy!? This place is very shady! Please do not shop here; I have been overcharged multiple times here. I visited the store three times, and every time I looked at the bill I was overcharged! It was very subtle changes. Example one is Increasing the quantity of the item, and number two is changing the sticker price at the last minuteAlso, beware of the cafe. They will also try to overcharge if you are not careful. I called to place an order for a tray of snacks and was told it was $35, but when I went there, the cashier wanted to charge me $45. When I told him that was more than the price we discussed on the phone, he became combative and rude. I have heard similar stories from friends about how horrible this establishment is. However, I wanted to check out the place since it was the closest Indian grocery. Would not recommend!

I went in looking for beef broth, I didnt realize it was that exotic. To be fair, its a grocery store that specializes in, I think, Indian food.If I ever want to try some very exotic (to a Floridian) Ill go back. But, you need to know what youre looking for as no one (when I was there) spoke English

The layout is great. Prices are reasonable. The butchers in the back are rude and didnt have the meat shelves stocked. Only one or two things on the shelf which was discouraging. Overall not bad though.

They also have a Cafe and as someone who loves Indian food, they have the BEST Ive ever had! Be prepared for spicy, which we like. Such incredible flavor in everything! I highly recommend this place. I have been using this store to get my groceries from time to time as it is convenient for me being that it’s in my neighborhood however, these people Have overcharged me on multiple occasions and are extremely unprofessional. They unfortunately have brought with them the Indian mentality of India which requires zero communication or customer relations skills. If they want to remain competitive with all the shops that are around on fowler then they better get their act together and hire people who can I actually speak English and understand what Customer Care Requires. Especially, after pointing them out when they’re wrong on their prices and they just look at you without a clue. Terrible customer service and make sure you pay attention to your bill as I can guarantee you they will overcharge you.Their roti quality has gone down hill as they seem to not care how they batch not to mention they keep increasing the price. Management seem to not care at all for quality good as they seem to feel invincible. That I can assure you won’t last long as other establishments will crop up soon.

I like this place and you can get fresh, quality products.My favorite is the Cafe and their Menu and Special Menus, which keep on changing every weekend.Staff at Cafe are very warm and responsive. Usually when I go to Taaza Mart I always order Dosa to go and never had any issues .Today I placed an order for 3 masala dosas for take out and asked them to pack the patatoes separately so it does not get soggy .Ten minutes later went to pick it up and to my surprise instead of finding nice crispy dosas packed separately I found 3 dosas individually packaged WITH potatoes and then set on top of each other and both the ends folded for all 3 !!!!! Sambhar and the coconut chutney etc all in 1 bag .My poor, flattened dosa looked pathetic and unappetizing 😔 When I pointed to them as to why they didnt put the potatoes separately and pack the dosa without folding it I was told thats how it is packed everywhere !!! No of course the guy overseeing it refused to see my point or make me fresh dosa even though all it would have taken is a little bit of batter to make the customer happy 😊 . Sambhar watered down with no taste . Sorry to say had all good experiences before except today and will not be back again !

Regular customer here. Most of the grocery items are great. All the vegetables are available for reasonable price. My rating has gotten down for the restaurant as the quality of the items I took were very bad and ended up discarding. Almost three times, repeatedly this happened. Its hard for me to loose more than what I wasted here!!

Cafe - I had to wait for 45 minutes for an order of paneer Manchurian and fried rice!! I asked them thrice while waiting, once I heard ‘it’s not just you! A lot of people are waiting!’ But I saw 15+ orders after my order number served before I got mine. And then second time I heard ‘the chef that prepares Indo Chinese is not available’ - then why on earth did they take my order? Now that I have paid, I can’t cancel. The third time I heard - ‘ the chef has to make items separately. ‘ God knows what that’s supposed to mean. I just hated the cafe customer service and maintenance.

Taaza Mart has a great meat department with professional butchers (Mustaf and Nadir).Their halal chicken and meat is fresh for the best price. They are clean and neat.My husband and I enjoy coming here for our meats.

Worst food experience.We went to Taza cafe after work on Tuesday and ordered Chili Paneer and biryani over the phone. When we reached I saw that Chili paneer was extremely dry as it was on buffet menu. I asked those person who worked there they said that They packed separate for us. Again I asked are you sure this food is eatable since it was looking bad but he was confident for us they made fresh and we trusted and took the food. When we reached home we had worst experience in Chili paneer. We couldn’t eat. Paneer was extremely dry and solid. I tried to drain in the sink and guess what even sink drainer couldnt cut the Paneer.Anyways it’s not only food we were disappointed. It was service too. Before this we had bad experience in Dosa too. It just near to our place so we thought to try again since It was busy day in the office and end of the way all we wanted was to eat good food.I recommended do not order if your item is on their buffet menu. Since it always get change so better if you check before you order.I hope this helps ..

I think this grocery store provides good selection of items all around. But this review is specifically about the meat section as I am most impressed with the meat section. The butcher, Mustafa, is so professional, pays great attention to the customers requests and provides exceptional service every time. The meat is always fresh and I highly recommend their meat section to everyone.

The place is moderate in size, the aisles are not very wide but can accommodate two cart widths. The choices are not very extensive but quite good. Good level of cleanliness. Staff is not very helpful but ok. There are discounted items as well. Nice variety of different types of rice. The loyalty programme does not cost you anything so worth the try. No special discounts for students or others as far as my knowledge. The on-site bakery should be appreciated along with the restaurant with indian dishes. Overall quite happy.

The food of the cafe is excellent, but please update your menu online daily or what’s available that day, cause the item you had for the day I visited was not the same as it showed online.

Pretty simple Taaza Mart is still clean, spacious, and everything in the grocery department is well organized. The vegetables and fruits are always green (fresh), and most notably, the meat quality is high-grade, its Halal. As for the frozen food items, Taaza Mart has most of the Indian products from breakfast to dinner food products, bread(chapatis), Sweets, Ice-creams, frozen Vegetables, and they also have Halal frozen products. Their sell all merchandise at a low price. They sell Indian foods in the cafe, sweets, lassi all items are delicious at economical prices. As for Customer services, there are good, and I hope you all find my review helpful.

Mostly item Over price compare to Patel/House of Spice... you can not find all indian grocery here ..many thing from my list were not there and has to go to Patel .. went first time and got worst experience.. they dont do proper billing .. in the self price are less and when you go for billing they will charge more .. they billed me everything from my cart and when i checked at home 2 items were missing and after calling they blamed on me .. will not go again ..

I actually wanted to give a 0 ratting but the option is not availableIncident 1:- I was a the billing counter to check out, the guy gets a call and made me wait of 10 minutes. He never returned back the other guy from a another counter took pity on me and did my check outIncident 2:- the last movement my mother needed some Tomato but by the time she came back it was late, my fault. I did the tomato on a separate invoice but the guy missed to keep it for n our cart, so once else got it for free( can expect a 5 rating from him) later I again had to buy tomatoes again.Incident 3:- the food counter says no carts in the restaurant so I had to keep my cart out side the restaurant, my little daughter who is 4 years asked me why? I explained her the reason. Soon after that we saw a man on phone rooming the the restaurant area with his cart my daughter started questioning me for which I had no answer. If you can’t monitor then why force rules.Incident 4:- the meet shop guy was talking to some old lady and convincing her that the meet place is good and halal too but some guy pitched in and said that they are customer waiting but the meet place had non. Funny management.Incident 5:- I see so many customers and staff with no mask or either the mask below the noise.

Very pleasant experience, they just recently opened so don’t expect all the products you would expect in such stores. Spoke with a lady and you g man who offered me their loyalty program! Very nice indeed! However the arabic products lineup is pretty small but I was told they will be adding more products as they go. However for starters, they seem like they got it rolling in the right direction.. i will try their in store cafe, the spices aroma coming out of there was enticing

Comparing with other Indian grocery stores this Taaza Mart product prices outrageous. Especially their shelf prizes on products very high also when it gets to register it is very high which does not match prices on shelf to register. They are adding taxes even on non -taxable products. No owner or manager appears in the store besides those employees do not know difference between unit price and pounds, I found that when I tried to return a product an employee said thats how they charge. He neither say sorry nor took the product back. He was rude and just walked away. Most of their products have no ingredient description or expiration date. It seems they do not care if a consumer relational department employee walks into their business do inspection how it effect the owners business. I RECOMEND EACH CUSTOMER PLEASE CHECK THEIR PRICES ON THEIR REGISTER RECIET..

The vegetables look very fresh and I love the different varieties of food. Ill have to return soon to try the cooked food.
