As a contractor its reassuring to know that there is a supplier like North Rome Lumber. They dont stock everything but the stuff they do carry they keep on hand in good supply. For special order stock or specially milled pieces their lead times are reliable and prices fair. We routinely drive from St Pete to North Rome because of their smooth operation. Natalie is a riot and knows the business inside and out and all the yard guys are helpful. Love this place.

Fantastic family owned lumbar yard. They carry many hardwoods like maple, oak, etc. and of course softer woods as well. And if they don’t have it they will order it for you.Also, the customer service was superb!I mostly dealt with Natalie, who is very kind and helpful. No complaints for this lumber yard. 👍🙂

I just want to send a shoutout to North Rome lumber, where no customer is too small. I’m sure they work on contracts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, but little ole me came in with my sample of crown molding for my discontinued kitchen, and my hard to find crown molding. I only had 30 min to frantically search through their precut crown molding before they close when Nataly suggested I leave my sample piece and she would go through the stock with more patience. For three days she worked with me in sourcing out my options, until I arrive finally and she miraculously found a trim similar to mind. My purchase may have been a humble purchase of 16 feet of pre-cut wood but Nataly and the entire staff at North Rome Lumber made me feel like a million dollar customer!!! They are amazing!

They have a great selection and are always able to order what I need with a quick turnaround. They are also very knowledgeable about the types of wood and make great recommendations. Every time I go everyone is very friendly and offer great service!

I just needed a 8 3/4 X 3/4 hardwood dowel. Other lumber stores couldnt do it. But the woman salesperson at North Rome was very attentive and led me to a large stack of remnants/tailings/scrap/what-have-you and I found a perfect 10 strip of straight mahogany. And only $6. Seems they have a large selection of specialty lumber and a friendly staff.

I visited North Rome Lumber for the first time today and was warmly greeted by the owner Brandon. He took time out of his busy day to give me and my wife a tour of his mill and show us his hardwood supply. After taking a look and showing me his prices, he took plenty of time at no rush to answer all of my questions and give me several options for wood choices that I hadnt considered until he brought them up.I am placing my first order for lumber this week and will absolutely be coming here for all future hardwood purchases!

I had a specific design i was working with from pinterest and the owner printed up and worked with me to specific dimensions. Even acquiring information from their team. I like their selection of different lumber. I picked up some cypress 1x6x14 to use as exterior window trim. Plus picked up a actual 2x12x14 cypress board to turn into new exterior window sills.

They always have the hard to find sliding for your house. They cut it to the exact size you need and I have never been there more than more than 30 minutes for a custom order. Its a family run business and Im glad they been there forever.

Dimensional boards and molding up to 16ft. Amazing collection of strange and hard to find trim pieces for those doing renovations to older homes. Also great place to find hardwoods - several bins of cuts and throws of all lengths are a weekend woodworkers dream.

I purchased crown molding here, and it was extremely good quality. The owners are knowledgeable, caring, and hard working. I will continue to purchase through them even if it means I spend a few extra dollars (the crown molding was actually less expensive through them)

What an amazing place! This place has everything that Home Depot does not! They even custom fabricate wood to any shape, size or type! If you have an old home and you are hung up on finding the right molding or have some antique furniture that needs that impossible to find piece, check it out! You wont be disappointed. Best place in town to get hardwood, cheap cut to specification.

AS others reviews mention before, this is the place to go to find moldings that are not in the Home Depots or Lowes inventory, model of good service, fair prices and attention to detail and resolve the customer problem.Besides all the good service, this business is a remainder of what is a old Florida family business.What else I can say? I highly recommend this business, for all your molding, siding and flooring needs and more, besides the owner had one of the biggest cutting tools inventories of the southeast, for all those old and hard to find lumber detail work.

This was my first experience with NRLC. It was good. They had the expertise and care to prepare the hardwood lumber for my specific needs. The wood was good enough to use as-is for drawer sides without any further preparation. Not cheap, but definately a timesaver and I could not find what I needed anywhere else within 15 miles from my location.
