Ive been looking for a new/newer car for a few weeks now. I knew that I wanted a Mazda based on just the history they have when it come to quality, attention to detail and reliability.I previously drove a Nissan Murano SUV due to just the rear seating space and cargo area. Next to an actual truck, I hauled a lot of furniture in that thing. I say that because I was set on getting a newer SUV until I saw this Mazda3 hatch.While it isnt an SUV, I didnt feel claustrophobic during my test drive and while it would best impossible to throw furniture in the the back, I enjoyed the compactness and overall ride experience.Abdul was a pleasure to work with. He was waiting to assist me as soon as I arrived. We test drove a blue Mazda3 hatch and I instantly feel in love with the ride and overall fun I had driving it. Abdul definitely knows his stuff and thoroughly explained all of the inside and out features. I think the fact that any outside noise was non existent an driving through bumpy roads was not even an issue helped sell this for me.I then saw the soul red model and knew that was the one!Though I waited for some time going through approvals and financing, Abdul was a pleasure to work with. He offered me beverages and even pizza while I waited. At that moment, I definitely felt more than just a customer walking in to get a potential sale from. Thanks to Abdul, I will be getting an air fryer too!This is my first ever Mazda but my experience over the weekend has made me a customer for life!

We walked into Westshore Mazda the place is elegant and we are quickly greeted. I would start off and say that Derrick Bensch our salesman at Westshore Mazda, he had great customer service, he really knew how to talk to people and make them feel welcome. He was very nice and not pushy at all! He even showed me how to use all the features and set up my phone. I was treated professionally, quickly and respectfully by everyone there! Derrick went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend contacting Derrick for your next vehicle purchase!! Huge thanks to Walter and Sammy. Got a better deal compared to other dealers in Tampa and st.Pete. Finance manager who helped me with paperwork was nice and very helpful. Couldn’t be more happy with the purchase. Red carbon cx5 was very hard to find and I’m glad I found it finally. there was some microfiber dust on the dashboard when I picked up the vehicle today. Do understand they are very busy this weekend. But overall would recommend to family and friends.

If you are considering a new car, go here. We visited as a walk in last Sunday and we were immediately helped by Abdul. He was super friendly and sweet (and model-level gorg). We told him the car we were interested in and he pulled it up for us, walked us through all the features of the car, and sent us on a test drive. When we came back it was just a matter of financials. It obviously takes a while and Abdul kept us updated throughout the process. Everyone we worked with at this location was professional and easy going.As for the car, I literally tell myself (and anyone who will listen) how much I love my Mazda. It is beautiful and such an upgrade from the Jeep Patriot I was driving.Again, come here if you are in the market for a new or used car. Beautiful building, beautiful cars, and an awesome staff!

DO NOT do business with them, they are an extremely unethical and unreliable car dealership. I drove from Jacksonville to buy a car and all four tires starting coming apart on the way home. This was suppose to be a “pre certified” vehicle, It clearly was never inspected properly, if at all. I took it to a repair shop and the guy told me all four tires needed to be replaced and that I’m lucky that none of them exploded on the drive home. After repeatedly contacting and being ignored by timo Fitzgerald (the car director) he rudely told me it’s not their problem because they “inspected” it.

I was hesitant about taking my Mazda in for service to this new dealership after a bad experience with the last service manager last year. But they completely changed their service staff and all of the old crew is gone.I took my Mazda in for service to fix my rear power windows because they were no longer functional. They stopped working after my doors got flooded last year because the door drains got clogged over time. Who knew this can be a problem with car doors? But the repair cost at the time came out to be more than $900 for the doors only and the window fix was an additional $400. I asked the service manager if he can be flexible on the price and give me a discount because $1300 was too much for me to pay. He was rude and obstinate and had an ego problem and refused to be flexible on the price. So I only fixed the doors and left a bad review at the time.One year later, I figure it is time for me to fix the windows again since I could not roll down the rear windows for a year and I’m spreading the cost over time. Once I saw the service team had changed, I thought I’d risk it. They diagnosed the issue and found there were 2 problems happening at once. One was the master control switch on the driver’s side door. And the other were the two motors in both rear doors. Each was $300. I asked if I can only fix the master switch and not the motors. But they said leaving the motors broken would cause more issues down the road. The total of the parts and labor after taxes, since it was about 3 hours of labor, came out to $1400. Once again I asked for flexibility on the price since I could not pay more than $1000. The service manager was willing to bring down the total cost after taxes to $1080. I was willing to go this high.If you too had a bad experience with Mazda from a year ago or earlier, I would suggest visiting them again because the entire service crew has changed. They all have a good attitude, they are respectful and are willing to listen, they do a thorough job in diagnosing issues, and they are willing to work with the customer to arrive at a price that is reasonable for all parties.I will be going to this new Mazda dealership again for my Mazda service needs.

Just bought a third Mazda for our family from Carlos at Westshore Mazda! (He’s a wizard, Harry!) He gets you into the car you want at the price you ask. I don’t know how they work their magic…I just know they are straightforward, don’t waste your time (no spending all day haggling), and have great warranties, too! So far, two of my sons have gotten their cars from him…and now, I have, too. I thought, for sure, I would be too upside down on my trade in because of mileage…but Mazda gave me more money for my Honda Grand Touring CRV, than Honda was going to give me! That speaks volumes! Great payment, beautiful new car, better gas mileage and better warranties…it makes a difference. We have now bought three cars from Carlos…there’s a reason for that. He’s honest, true to his word, and works with you to make sure that you’re happy with your car AND happy with your payment. Now, extended family is going to him, too. I can’t speak highly enough of Carlos and Westshore Mazda…and all they have done for my family. Just go see him…you’ll understand why.

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Mazda 3 at Westshore Mazda, and I couldnt have had a better experience! My sales consultant was Walter Chavarria, a friendly, informative, no-pressure professional who made my car-buying experience the best Ive ever had! Additionally, everyone who was involved in the sale, from the internet sales manager to the financial manager were friendly and professional. Bret Stone met me outside and asked me why I was there and then led me inside gave me options of seating and showed me where the beverage were and then took car of my car. My comfort was his first priority then my car. Which I very much appreciated. Most places you have to go to Service Advisor they don’t come to you.

Went in for an oil change and got charged nearly 500.00 for extra services that I did not approve nor ask for. Luckily they sent me the receipt before job was completed and I was able to stop them before they went off on their own and charged me.Second one is I requested a quote for a trailer hitch and installation for adding a bike rack and was told it would be over 1,000.00 for parts and installation. I cant recommend enough never to purchase anything from here. I am happy with my Mazda which was purchased in North Carolina but i have no intention of ever coming to this place for a Mazda or any type of service.

The people at this dealership are friendly and helpful. The service waiting area is clean with huge windows into the service area so you can clearly see work being done on most cars.The only hiccup in an otherwise perfect service appointment was they were short mechanics due to the usual Covid problem.The upside is there are multiple dealerships sharing the same concrete so it is an easy walk to the lunch counter at the next showroom and cars to look at and complimentary coffee.

Salesman, Harry, did everything he could to help. However the overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional and it still hasn’t ended even though I picked up my car almost 2 weeks ago. I was sent a survey I filled out honestly. Once the sales manager received the survey he actually tried to punish me. I was offered a gift card for the issues I was having, and tried to cancel my new car detail bc they never detailed it when I picked it up. The sales manager took back the gift card because he said I slammed them, but was forced to honor the detail because the car was never done. I could care less about a gift card, but the the lack of customer service and professionalism was stunning.

Customer service was great prior to the purchase. Post-purchase not so much. I left messages, with no follow up call. When I had to call in about my issues, Abdul answered the phone both times . If anyone looking at these reviews believes for one second that a car dealership could ever get even one 5 star review, they are naïve! The 5 star reviews must be employees. I just bought a car there and was deceived on several counts. First, they didnt want to honor their own offer through TrueCar. Had to show them the offer on my phone and they still gave me a hard time and only gave me a portion of the promised $3000 dealer discount. Then they tried to reduce the promised offer for my trade. Dont get fooled with how they juggle numbers with the sales tax offset from new car tax amount. Educate yourself! And then theres the $2000 dealer add on for the Westshore Advantage. Bunch of nothing for $2000 and no they did not mention this in the original offer. So after a long stressful 3 hours I was confused and tired and accepted their final offer?? which ended up being $2000 more than I expected to pay when I drove the 2 hours to get there. Only good thing is that the front-line rookie salesman, Adam, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and nice. Good luck people. Ive always bought my cars at Carmax and I regret not going to them.

My purchasing experience with Westshore went well enough. After weeks of research, I walked away with what I know to be a good deal on a new 2021 CX5. Save for the fact that they bake a $2200 dollar Westshore Advantage fee into every car they sell. Make no mistake, its just a way for them to make a few extra bucks while advertising their inventory as priced to sell. Regardless, I wasnt going to buy a vehicle with the Advantage plan attached. So, after an hour or two of back and forth, they knocked $2200 off the sale price, and offered me the promotional deal I was quoted over the phone. All things considered, everyone at the dealership was very friendly.If things had stopped there, Id give a five star rating. The car buying process is it what it is. Youre gonna have to fight for your money wherever you go. What I appreciated from Westshore, was that they were respectful of my stipulations and inquiries throughout the negotiation process. Unlike other dealerships I had been to, they didnt lowball me on an initial trade in offer, and made concessions where they knew they had room to.So, why a 2-star rating? Well, its been over a month since I paid nearly 30-grand in cash for a new car, and Im still without an updated registration. My tags expired weeks ago, despite the fact that I was promised itd be taken care of by my renewal deadline. Westshore charges a mandatory $400 fee to handle the filing digitally, which they outsource to another automotive group. So, weeks later when I call in asking for assistance, they give me a phone number, and ask me to call the agency on their behalf. Talk about a slap in the face after spending so much money at their dealership. Never mind the fact that they charge you to do the paperwork themselves.So, intent on preventing myself from being pulled over, I call up the agency myself. They promise to get things taken care of, and overnight the tags. A week later, wouldnt you know it: Still no tags. Today, I called up Westshore to explain my situation once more. Believe it or not, they tell me to follow up with the agency on their behalf. Go figure. So, I ask them to resolve the situation for me, and I get passed off to a voicemail. So frustrating. Heres the kicker, I begrudgingly call up the agency, only to find out they never actually overnighted the registration.Long story short, I spent $30k on a new car from Westshore Mazda, and its me who ends up doing the legwork.

I can’t thank service advisor Josh R. enough for helping me out when my Mazda CX-5 went down Thursday. I was not having luck with AAA, nor was I having luck with Tyrone Mazda, as well as Coast Mazda; both dealerships refused to help me or make an exception to squeeze me and look at my car. I was told by one dealership the following Tuesday and the other not until October 11th/12th. Josh R. Took the time to understand my needs and concerns and how much having a car to be able to get to work meant to me. I don’t have anyone else I can rely on. Not only did Josh help me in a jam, but service tech Adam fixed my car in such a short amount of time. It didn’t dawn on me before that my Mazda CX-5 has had the same issue before. Oil pan sensor failure. When I first bought my car in 2018, countryside Mazda didn’t know how to fix my car and had it for over a month. Adam was able to assess the situation quickly and repair it. I’m so thankful for Josh R, and Adam for their help!!! I will no longer patron the other Mazda dealerships after being blown off. Thank you again!!!

I purchased a car in April from them and it’s has been nothing but an absolute nightmare getting the paperwork they messed up all straightened out. They have spelled my name wrong on every single piece of paper they have ever sent me, they have also filed the wrong paperwork multiple times resulting in a need for multiple temporary plates for my vehicle.Their customer service is horrible! Empty promise after empty promise. I’m currently waiting over an hour for a phone call back. They said they’d call me back in 5 mins. I’m constantly chasing people down to get my temp plates, the correct paperwork, or anything done correctly. This entire dealership is inept.I’ve never been more unhappy dealing with a group of people in my entire life. I wish they would just do their jobs correctly so I don’t have to call them anymore. It’s MONTHS and I still don’t have my actual plates. These people cannot be trusted to do anything correctly. Save your time and money and buy yourself a car from people who know what they are doing!!UPDATE : The car cannot be driven until paperwork is updated which can take weeks. These people sold me a car that I can’t even drive at the moment because they messed everything up so badly. Didn’t even offer me a temporary car to use while I wait weeks for my plates. I will forever be grateful that i went to this dealership. my intentions of going in wasn’t on the positive side, i wasn’t confident nor was i really excited, but i needed to just talk to someone get the right idea on how to do this whole buying a car thing. i just wanted to know where i stood, if i was even able to get a car or not, what would it take. Miguel was truly an amazing person and salesman. me being 22, lost on how to do this kind of thing, also picky, and very indecisive, he worked w me the whole time, he didn’t sugarcoat anything, he told me how it is, but he also agreed w me and understood, and was personal and he listened to me. also his co workers, they actually heard me out, listened to my situation, provided me w the best information, and at the end i was put in something i was truly happy w. i left feeling accomplished and proud of myself and i also left feeling relieved that there are good salesman out there. w me having sales experience in a different industry, being treated good really makes a difference. thank you miguel.

Found a gently used Mazda 3 on their website with very low milage and very clean at a decent price. I visited the dealership and decided to buy the car. The dealership was very pushy with their added value package that included things like scratch resistant protection, nitrogen for the tires, and roadside assistance (I already have roadside through my insurance company), and a couple of other things that werent useful for me. This would have added $2000 to the total cost of my purchase. I politely declined and they werent happy about it. We completed the sale and then on my way home from the dealership, the gas light and the check engine both came on. I called my salesman and brought the car back so that they could at least provide me with gas. Unfortunately the service department had closed for the day and I needed to bring the car in the following day for the check engine problem. I brought it the next day and I was informed by the service person that a part would need to be ordered to correct the issue. I had no problem with that. I left the car in there possession for another normal workday and through the weekend. No updates were provided to me on a time-line, no phone calls from the salesman to see how the repair of the new to me car was going. I purposely waited until 3pm on three separate non weekend work days to call them and get a status for the work being done. 5 days after I purchased the vehicle, I pick up my new to me car with no explanation or paperwork of service accomplished. Although, I did ask for and received the paperwork before I left. The service person printed the paperwork, handed it and my keys to me and walked away. No thank you, no have a nice day, no thanks for being a our NEW customer or anything. A week has gone by and I havent received any follow up calls about the repair or my level of satisfaction with sales or service. Ill say that I feel like I found myself a great car for a decent price. From my personal experience, I feel no one cares about customer satisfaction at that location. I would prefered to make a purchase elsewhere in the future and will not be recommending this location to any of my military work friends. Thank you for reading and hope this helps.

If you are thinking about buying a Mazda, you HAVE to come to this dealership and ASK FOR ADRIEN HENAO!!! I was interested in looking at a Mazda CX-5 and the process was a dream. I did not feel pressured to make any decisions and he was extremely respectful and knowledgeable in answering any questions I had. Im not sure if its because Im a woman, but in the mans world of car sales I was always uncomfortable and felt taken advantage of with my previous auto purchases. I had a bad experience at another dealership so I was hesitant to walk into another possible similar situation, but I am so glad I came to Westshore. Adrien greeted me and from the start I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me with exactly what I was looking for instead of seeing me as an opportunity to make a sale. He gave me multiple options along the lines of what I wanted, and when I said I wanted to get one more quote from another dealership he didnt try to push and close me. He said he completely understood as it was in my best interest and after hearing that I made the best judgement call of my life and went with him! He is the most honest salesman Ive met who seriously wants the best for his clients. I cant emphasize or stress enough how much I recommend coming to this dealership and working with Adrien. I am so thankful for him and the incredible experience, and will continue using Adrien for any and all future car purchases. 100/5 stars!!!!

How do I start to tell you that if your going to buy a Mazda it has to be from Westshore Mazda and you have to ask for Carlos Rosa. My family and I had went to a Mazda dealer in Brandon and because of the poor service we received we decided to go to Westshore Mazda and this was the best decision we made. Going to Westshore Mazda was by far one of the most wonderful car buying experiences I have ever had! Carlos and his team treated my family and I as if we were part of their family. Mind you we had previously had a horrible experience at the OTHER place so, we were apprehensive but, Carlos and his team treated us with respect and professionalism. What impressed me the most was that because they are under construction they are working out of a trailer but they treated us as if they were working out of a new building. Under those pressures and conditions they worked flawlessly and rolled out the red carpet. Carlos and his team made my nieces first time car buying experience very pleasurable she got the car she wanted and at a great rate. I have always been a Toyota guy but, Carlos and his team have converted me so, my next vehicle will be a Mazda. To the owner of the dealership Carlos and his team deserve some type of recognition for the outstanding work that they do under all the adverse and uncertain conditions that they face. I bought a 08 ford expedition from them. they sold it to me with a bad transmision in it. never got to test drive it because it was in the shop both times i came to see it. they said they couldnt hold it until it came out of shop so i could test drive it only way was to buy it so i did. now they wont fix the problem. i will never buy from them again.

At the end of the day the dealership got to where I wanted to be on the used vehicle I purchased. That being said it was an aggravating road. Wasted a trip 2 days prior to get my vehicle appraised. Just to have them call me the following day and spend most the day talking to them about the deal. We come to an agreement and have everything handled over the phone. We make an appoint and I expressed that I will be pressed for time since I don’t live close and I have kids and a life. I get there and it takes over an hour to finalize everything that was already finalized. Then everything is done and I leave. I get to my daughters hockey practice 45 mins away and get a phone call. They forgot to put my tag on the new vehicle. Then ask if I can come back. Mind you that would be my third 45 min trip down to them. Luckily they drove to me since it was their mix up. What a process!

Really disappointed after buying a car here. First, I was told a cargo cover would come with my CX30, but after I bought the car I was told it was not standard and I would have to buy it separately. Generally I research as much of this stuff myself before going buying, but because every other car I saw it on was standard, and it was in my vehicle during the test drive, I really didnt think much of it. When I went to go pick up the vehicle, I noticed that the low windshield wiper fluid light was on and the vehicle had less than a quarter tank of gas. That is just not acceptable when buying a 35 thousand dollar vehicle. They also made the purchasing process so painful, as they would not talk to me about pricing on the phone or even in person, unless I wanted to take it home that day. I contacted 4 other Mazda dealers in Florida, and none had a problem with discussing pricing with me over the phone, except this one. The only reason I decided to even go in again to negotiate is because they are much closer, and more convenient, but now I regret not taking the time to go to Lakeland or Brandon, both of which also offered somewhat better deals.Edit: I forgot to mention, they gave me this Westshore Mazda Advantage tag with all these amazing perks of buying a car here, which they said was included (and literally says Look this vehicle features on the front of it). After I bought the car, I was told it was a premium add-on. Really disgusting behavior.

Been going to Mazda service since 2016 so I have a good idea on what to expect. I felt very taken advantage of at this location. Arielle did not inform the add ons would take my oil change from 100 dollars to 400. I asked at one point what the total was and was informed that she didn’t have that answer for me as she was going to apply discounts and do my a favor. I did not know the price until I sat down to pay, which put me in a very uncomfortable situation. If you can, go out of your way to a different Mazda dealership that is honest and upfront with their customers.

Didn’t think this location was open because it’s in the process of being built but, IT IS! Probably the quickest, easiest car trade/buy process I’ve ever done. Carlos was extremely helpful and professional. I will be back when it’s time to buy again in the future.
