Royal Oriental Rugs did a superb repair job on my rug. You can’t tell what was repaired at all! The color match is perfect! We had to wait a bit to get it back… but it was definitely worth it. Matt, the owner of the company, sent away to Turkey to get the matching shade of vegetable dyed wool yarn. Thank you, Matt!

I have a 9x 11 silk Kashmiri that was a mess. They cleaned it properly and restored the nap.The washing process is not inexpensive or quick but it gets done right and the quality then remains. If you love your fine rugs bring them to Royal Oriental to maintain.

Best Oriental Rug shop in entire southeast US. Matt and his team do it all. Pick up and delivery for all rugs large and small. Mine are 10’ x 14’ wool and very heavy. They pick up, gave them the best cleaning these fine rugs ever had, and then had them sent to a repair shop to get disparately needed edge work. These rugs are now better than when we bought them in Kuwait 30 years ago. It might take longer than one likes, but it’s all worth it when Matt brings them back to your home or business and you see them in their full glory. I love walking on them bare feet again. You will not be disappointed with Matt and his team.

The rugs had never been professionally cleaned before and now the colors are vibrant and have been restored to their original beauty. My Aubusson style rugs, which were large, needed some repair to the fringe and the backing and the edges of the carpets. Matt Falli, the owner, has been in the business for over 30 years and knows his craft. He also cut high quality pads to go under each rug and now they have been restored in beauty, color and style to their nearly original magnificence. I highly recommend this company and for the service they provide.

Matt was awesome. He was tremendously helpful in helping us find our new “floor art” for our home. He brought several options out to our house and spent time educating us on the different quality levels and how they were crafted. His knowledge and passion for home decor was fantastic!

Checked the reviews of several carpet services on the internet and found that Royal appears very good. The owner, Matthew, drove from Tampa to Sarasota to look at my ancient rug which had been severely attacked by moths while in storage. It originally came from a small village in (Iraq?) and was purchased by my father probably 50 years ago and so sentimental value. Matt took a lot of time, both at my home and later at his shop, to review just what I had and what options were available. After consulting in his shop, after a thorough cleaning, I decided to reduce the size of the rug and use a portion for a runner. The price for cleaning and repair is best viewed when in a seated position however Matt took pains to make sure that such an old relic received the proper attention and several upgrades such as padding and leather reinforcement to do proper justice.Matt is very helpful and personable and his daughter, who was working in the store, is very pleasant and quite a nice compliment to the store. I cannot vouch yet for the quality of work but, so far, I would highly recommend Royal Oriental Rugs for their professionalism, their staff and as a likely place to purchase a new rug.

The rug is beautiful. However, I didnt like the buying experience of going back and forth haggling over the price. My original intention was to shop without any obligations. I felt pressured to buy the rug. I will not buy there again.
