Over the last 6 months the quality has continued to decline. Garlic knots without garlic, cold pizza, and most importantly just a pizza that lacks flavor. Not even the cheese seems the same. I’ve eaten here for years but think that today was the last time. Dominos and Papa John’s has this place beaten easily at this point.

Tried this place after reading reviews for tons of pizzerias and having a pregnancy craving for Buffalo chicken pizza. My husband waited for about 20-25 minutes after placing the order. I got two Buffalo chicken slices, a small Greek salad light feta and 6 Buffalo wings well done..The pizza was very average, Buffalo didn’t come to mind as I ate it. Giant New York slices. The chicken was mainly at the top and when I got up there it was decent. Maybe I tried it on the wrong day bc it was dry and I was a tad disappointed. 3/5 *added picture of my pizza*The chicken wings were okay, could’ve used more sauce but again they tasted like average wings from a pizza place, can’t complain. 3/5The Greek sale was the star of my order, it was everything a Greek salad should be. I asked for ranch and was given another dressing but I have ranch at home so I didn’t mind the mistake. I should’ve gotten a large bc that’s the main thing I ate. 5/5If I was in the area I’d stop by to try something different and probably not on Friday.

As a New York transplant in Florida, Im always skeptical when I find a place that promises NY style pizza... well, not only did they promise it, they delivered. The sauce was just enough to add flavor, the crust was light and crispy enough to hold up to a fold... even loaded with toppings.And the one thing that brought a 4 star review to a 5 star... the customer service was phenomenal. I got to witness an act of humanity that was effortless and matter of fact.Next time Im in the area, Ill be returning!

A large Grandmas Pie with thick crust, a calzone with cheese + pepperoni, and 20% tip ran me $35. Its all so delicious and very filling, definitely worth it. They also have individual slices, wings, salads, etcetera. And their owner/staff are really kind. AND its only 5 mins from my house! Thanks so much for a great experience!

The pizza is not that great. Also, customer service is not the best. The menu is misleading they have a special but when you ask for it, they tell you is until 4PM, it will be nice the menu would say that.

We ordered a pizza and pasta entree at 6:13pm for a guaranteed delivery by 7:13p. After 3 calls and way too many excuses it was delivered at 8:15pm. The delivery driver had an attitude and said we were the fourth delivery. We live 10 minutes away. We won’t be ordering from you all again.

I usually do not like home delivery pizza, it arrives soggy and the taste is usually very fast food tasting. Well that was not the experience from NY NY pizza, it was excellent! I am from Miami, and very picky, it did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken wings and the small Mama pie. The chicken wings were crispy but not greasy, perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, an so, so, tasty. The pizza was excellent! The sauce was not overpowering and the basil was extremely fresh. It had a great crust and thin slices. Best of all it was less expensive than ordering from NationalBrand pizza places. I ordered both small portions because it was for only one person, however the portions are large and had left overs. It was a nice surprise for a lazy Saturday night. Pair with a great bottle of wine and you are set!

Did not enjoy it, even if I was under the influence... I gave it a couple chances, too. This is the popular spot for all who are done with the night of bar hopping in Soho because of how late it stays open. If youre one of these people, you might not care much about whether or not youre eating great pizza and instead just want the closest and fastest place to put food in your stomach.

I was in Tampa visiting a friend and they suggested this place for pizza. I have to admit, it’s one of the best pizza pies that I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve had the opportunity to have pizza in New York’s Little Italy 🇮🇹 (twice) and I think that this pizza is even better than those excellent pies that I have experienced in the past. I enjoyed it so much the other day that today I’m planning on driving 30 minutes from Palm Harbor Florida to the south Howard region of Tampa to get another pie!

Same thing as most the people are saying. Thin and burnt w half of each slice completely unbeatable. We ordered here about 6 months ago and it was the best pizza i had in Tampa besides Eddie and Sams. Idk what happened in last few months but they fell off. Tried to contact the manager and they tried to offer me 25 percent off my next pizza, no that wasnt doing it. Ill order papa Johns next time.

For the love of god how hard is it to follow directions on an Uber order? I will never order from here again. This is like the 3rd time. Asked for no sauce on a meatball sub and it’s covered in sauce. Asked for light sauce TWICE on a pasta dish, the first time I literally had to rinse it off in a colander. And will probably have to do the same this time. Got a white pizza with shrimp and there may be 6 CUT UP pieces of shrimp on the whole thing. I’m finding it harder and harder to order anything from Uber because no one follows the directions! Very disappointing

I will never buy another pizza there. I ordered a pie and they gave me one that was already pre-made and dry. Then they had no size option, only extra large. Not freshly made. Noticed it too late. Also, not enough sauce and cheese. Terrible for the price I paid. If I could give it zero stars I would. Oh, the food looks nothing like the pictures posted. Very deceiving.

Ive heard stories about people ordering from there then they never show up. I work in a Hotel 10 min. away. guest ordered at 10:19 and now its 11:35..... Never showed up. so now Ive seen it with my own eyes.

Was told they were only selling XLarge pizza or single slices, no other sizes. I ordered the XL pizza and they pulled a cold, premade pizza from the back. Highly disappointed, I will not come back. For New York style pizza, Eddie and Sams is WAY better for the price.

I order from Ny Ny Pizza all the time. I called in and placed an order Monday night Feb 22, 2021 at 8:43 pm. The person who answered the phone said 30-45 minutes. I got there around 9:30 to pick up a small cheese pizza and 6 garlic knots. I get home, feed my dogs and finally sit down to eat. The food was horrible, it seemed like it was dough from the night before. I called them today Tuesday the 23rd after lunch. The attitude was I don’t care, you should have called last night and proved it!!! I will give you a 5% discount on your next order!!! 5%??? What the hell is that??? I’ve been a loyal customer for years and order frequently. Thanks Ny Ny but…NO THANK YOU! I’ve never complained about their food but will not buy it again for a very long time if I ever do!!!

Have had this place many times. No hospitality in person or over the phone. When they are busy they always say 20-25 mins but in reality you should get there 40 mins after you order. When they are not busy the pizza looks and tastes good but when theyre busy it just looks swirly. Just got the last pizza Ill ever get from them.

Food is great, one particular person was very rude. I am not one to leave bad reviews however when it comes down to the treatment of customers then its a different story. In a time when its so easy to show a little kindness to others there is no reason for it. I wont go back again. It was my first time in and last. I just opened the doors on my own business that day and thought to spend a little money Ive been saving. I wish it wasnt here. Otherwise, the food is good. Walk up service only, to go only, didnt see any available condiments, no beer. Soda coolers to your right with an assortment of coke or pepsi products.

This place never disappoints. It can get quite crowded past midnight on the weekends, but the food and service is on point.

This pizza place is good. They have lots of good pizza to choose from. Its not the cheapest place around but prices are not overwhelming. They do offer dinners as well if youre not in the mood for pizza, but the dinners taste a little more generic and less authentic. This is a new York style pizza place, but the crust is very thin. If you like thin crust, youll really like this place.

4 stars for having a GOOD gluten free option. Would have given 5 if the outdoor area was not full of drunk, young adults leaving their litter all over the walk way. With the exception of cheese pizza, they NEVER get anything right. And when I asked how my order could be so wrong, I could hear him shrug over the phone as he said, I dont know, not caring in the slightest. They obviously cant handle a simple order of a single sandwich. It was a sandwich, both times, they messed up a chicken parm sub. Its not hard - literally bread, chicken, cheese, and sauce. Two dinners and enough money wasted, Ill go elsewhere from now on, thanks for nothing. Oh, and by the way, your pizza is NOTHING like New York pizza, you shouldnt even be allowed to use that name.

Subpar customer service and the pizza was not all that good.When my family and walked into the restaurant the lady at the counter welcomed us with a: How can I help you. We told me that it was our first time at the restaurant and didnt even have the courtesy of saying Welcome she was like....ohh and proceed to take the order.I have been to New York several times and I can attest that the Pizza served at New York New York Pizza was not a New York Style Pizza. Do not let them fool you. It is an alright Pizza not a NY Style Pizza.I do not see myself going back especially when Tampa is full of great Italian/Pizza restaurants.

This place is terrible.... I get a slice and have to heat it up at home because they only put it in for 30 seconds. I asked them to put it back in the oven once and they did but I shouldn’t have t to ask. They just want you in and out. Oh and I ordered a dinner from here once and it was a frozen reheat. Great Pizza place on Howard Ave./ SOHO area. Youll get your order very fast, they offer whole pizzas or single slices, the servings are large, the crust is thin, crispy, and delicious! The prices are great and they stay open until 2 am. Highly recommend when your pizza craving hits you!

Very expensive, VERY LITTLE SERVICE. Very rude. Gentleman on phone could care less the order was not met and will not honor your order if it comes out wrong. I live in 33609 area. I am appalled they dismiss paying regulars so easily. If you do purchase from the one in SOHO they will push the blame on the customer. Average order for 2 pies and wings with drink is 55 bucks and the food is delish but if you have any problems what so ever you will be OUT YOUR MONEY. LESSON LEARNED!

This place is great. The employees are friendly and always ready to take your order. Pizza comes out hot. The crust is crispy. I recommend this place for a quick bite because seating is limited. There was a limit on credit cards so I asked if they can charge me for two slices and I would come back for the second, they were happy to accommodate me.

This place reminds me of the pizza I used to get when I was a kid in NJ & NY- MAN this pizza is FANTASTIC! Fresh, fresh, fresh ingredients, made from scratch! Little bit of a wait, but its definitely worth it!

I walked in at lunchtime and they had no wait, which is a plus. The reason for the 2 stars is well I asked for a slice of pizza and I was served a pizza that looked and tasted old. The cashier was nice and friendly, but didnt seem to know what she was doing. The time I was standing there waiting on my food, I witnessed a pizza boy touching other items other than pizza dough and the pans it needed to be placed on without washing his hands. The last and main reason was I ordered for take out and I was served on a paper plate. A paper plate? I was lost. When I asked to get it to go, the cashier stated it was. I told her I wanted it in a to go box and then without even moving she told me she didnt have any. I stood there staring at her because I clearly could see small to go boxes. The alternative option she gave me was to stick the plate in a brown paper bag. Like come on. I always get my pizzas from the location in Ybor and never had a problem. I think the managers should have a revised meeting on common sense.

I never take the time to leave negative reviews unless I feel I’ve truly had a bad experience. Waited over an hour just to get a cold small pizza & cold mozzarella sticks. When I called to check up on my order, the woman on the phone was rude. I wish I had waited to tip because I would’ve definitely tipped less. I was excited after seeing the reviews for this place, but my experience was highly disappointing. It’s 8pm on a Tuesday night, there’s really no excuse for this kind of service.Also, I work in the food service industry. I understand that things happen. But, this is the kind of thing that just should not happen. You get paid to provide good service, if you don’t want to do that, then you should not be getting paid.

Ordered chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Waited an hour to have cold food delivered the mozzarella sticks were not cooked all the way through so the center was hard and cold, my chicken tenders and fries were cold, ordered to work so didn’t even get to eat today the food was pretty nasty. Its not bad, just not particularly good. Great location for all the drunk college kids; which Im sure is where they make all their money, but the prices are a bit nuts for the food they offer. Taste is alright, portions are good, and price sucks. Evens out to a 3-star experience.

Today I ordered my usual Manhattan Rolls from NY NY Pizza. I always order them with extra marinara sauce and they always come in pretty large. When I received them today they came in burnt and half the size they usually are and they forgot the extra marinara (that I pay for). I called to talk to the manager and let him know the situation. The manager told me I always make them that size, and I make them that size all the time. I tried explaining that I always order Manhattan Rolls (at least once a week) and he wouldnt hear it. He brushed me off and said if I want he would send the extra marinara that I purchased. I am a manger myself and go above and beyond for a nice sincere repeating customer. I will no longer be recommending this establishment and will be taking my business else where.

Amazing authentic NY style pizza

I have never dealt with such a barbaric company in my life. I paid almost 50.00 for one cold pizza and hot wings that were dry and didnt have a spec of hot sauce on them. I called them and only told them about the wings not having hot sauce on them. They put me on hold several times and then started to interrogate me about the sauce because they said their cook was positive he put hot sauce on them. I offered to send them a picture of them and then was put on hold again. Then they told me that hed have someone bring out hot sauce to me. That was their solution, to send a guy out with sauce that would take another 30 minutes for us to put on wings that were already cold. I requested just a refund for the wings and offered to even have them pick them up so he didnt think we were just looking for a discount. They refused.Oh, FYI, even if there Pizza warm it was nothing to write home about.

I have lived in Tampa for over 35 years and have seen many pizzerias come & go. I moved here from the Northeast.Whenever I want the best thin-crust Pizza I have found since I have lived here, I go to New York New York. I also think it is the best food value for the money not to mention the friendly staff. Often, when I have had to wait for my order, I have been given a little taste to tide me over.Why go anywhere else when the best local pizza is right here on South Howard.Oh- I forgot to mention- they also deliver!!!
