Purchased sugar free chocolate from this chain for years and always good, but not in Taos. The four pieces of light and dark were so stale and old tasting that i wanted to return them for my money back. Didn’t finish them- can’t get that old taste out of my mouth!

Wonderful service. Delicious chocolate and MANY more options! Under new ownership and we would highly recommend you stop in to check them out! Chocolate covered strawberries were delicious as was the Truffle we had.

Honestly hands dow the best chocolate around in Taos the owners were extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back!!!

This place is dangerous- in a good way. The smell alone is heaven. Try the candied apples. They have some dipped in chocolate. All I can say is that I am glad i am not employed there!!!

We waited a day to come in because we arrived in Taos when the plaza stores were closed so we came back the next day. We were so excited. An older lady was very rude about my mask even tho I was wearing it properly. I “adjusted” my mask. I was looking at the caramel apples when we saw flies in the cases. We left disgusted and disappointed. I find it funny I got yelled out for my mask (even tho it was on correctly) for safety and sanitary issues but they let flies nest in their products.

We got candied apples from them and they’re really good. But giving them two stars because the cashier lady is very rude. As a new customer you expect them to be friendly or atleast help you about their best products. But she seemed to be in a hurry and just want us out.

We will miss having the opportunity to enjoy a sweet confection at our local Taos Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I had dipped carmel apples with pecans. It was delicious and the chocolate was off the charts. Very good to get your sweets.

Being a local here in Taos I wanted to support local businesses and I went by to get some ice cream and i don’t know who it was but she was So Rude ! She seemed to be picky who she wanted to have go in for business so we ended up leaving empty handed and I would Never go back! I wouldn’t waste the time if your traveling by or locally, hope who ever it was they think about what vibe they give out to Important Customers.

I just had one of the best ice cream flavors ever. It was incredibly creamy, rich raspberry with chocolate bits and some of the chocolate pieces had a raspberry liquor inside. Absolute decadence!!😋

We like to go to the RMCF, but the last two times were not great or even good. It wasnt the treats that were not good it was the counter person! And no not one of the teens they are always professional. The first time was last Tuesday night I asked for a dipped pretzel and got a Graham cracker dipped in chocolate instead. Also, the counter person was very rude. The next day was on Halloween. I understand that it was busy but once again the counter person who may be the owner was very rude and hard to deal with. I do love the treats here but not worth being treated poorly. So on this note, I will no longer be purchasing treats from RMCF!!!

The lady in the store was very rude she ended up running two groups of people off while we were in there before we were even able to pay for our stuff.

Unfriendly staff, chocolate was fine,. They acted like it was an imposition to serve us.Asked about a restroom and they just mumbled No. No mention of a public bathroom which we saw later.

My family and I were on vacation and stopped in today for some ice cream. The ice cream was scattered and didnt match the labels (no big deal) I wasnt sure if I just wasnt seeing the cookies and cream. I asked a young hispanic girl with lots of eye make up on if they had any. She responded no rudely and looked bothered that she even had to help customers. She continued to behave crappie to my family and other customers. I feel she needs to find another job that isnt customer service.....young lady you work in a tourist town and will have to deal with people from all around the world.... trust me when I say they dont want to have to deal with your unhappy face and rude attitude. The young man working with her made up for her bad attitude and turned my familys experience into an enjoyable one. We love RMC Co. and their product never lets us down. We will of course go back for more sweets, but Im hoping we will be treated with respect and kindness.

Wonderful little store. Lots of varieties of candies. Lots of different Carmel apples to choose from. My youngest got the snowman marshmallows covered in white chocolate and my oldest got scoops of ice cream.

Their treats are always yummy, friendly service. They have a wide variety of chocolates, caramels, ice cream and caramel apples. They even have quite a few sugar free options. My kids love the big bear outfront.

This place is so wonderful, and the staff is always friendly.

The best hot chocolate weve ever drunk! Spicy, just right after the cool summer rain. The only sad part was that we could not buy a hot chocolate mix to take it with us home. Any time our life takes us to Taos well visit this place!

Great Shop! Holds true to the chains typical offerings, but with a distinctly Toas feel. A nice place for adventurous types to get a sweet treat before heading out into the surrounding wilds...Or upon their return.

This place sounds Great and all and it is but dont expect the place to have everything ready to sell. I wanted ice cream with got fudge. No hot fudge, the hot fudge warmer wasnt even on. I went through 3 different types of ice cream before I picked one they actually had available. The guy helping me out forgot about me and the Girl helping him took over my order. Idk I might have had a rough experience at this place but I dont think I would visit again its that kind of place you go in because it looks cool and then you dont care anymore (especially after looking at some of the prices)

Try the Taos mountain apple and the chocolate cover cheesecake with nuts they are the best. I Take my family here all the time.

It’s chocolate, so it tastes great, but I was a little taken aback by how expensive things were. Even fair trade, organic chocolate (don’t know if they source either) shouldn’t cost $25/lb. Even in a tourist town.

Owner was very rude when we (my wife and I) entered with our service dogs who were on leashes and well trained in behavioral actions. I/we would NOT reccomend to anyone to shop at this business.

We made it into the shop 12min before close, and they were fine with that. The size of the scoops are giant, and the ice cream tasted great.
