My husband and I can not say enough GREAT things about Lisa & Hugh at Granite Concepts. Our project was a 2-phase project because we just couldnt deal with having our entire kitchen - gone at once. Lisa helped us every step of the way - from telling us where to go and pick our granite - to storing the second half for a year while we took a break to tackle the rest of the kitchen.The countertop looks amazing. Her staff has an incredible skill set. They are very good at what they do. It fit perfectly and I can not tell you how many compliments we have gotten because it looks SO GOOD! In fact, while they were installing our second half, a friend up the street asked that she measure for quartz at their house which is a much bigger job then ours. That says a lot!We highly recommend them for your countertop project!

First, I would like to give this family 5 stars for their friendliness. I was so excited to get to work with them. Lisa showed us around the facility and had the exact stone we wanted. We paid the down payment in July and was told installation would be in August. August rolled by, and with many emails/texts, I was told they were swamped or had issues with their equipment. The counter tops were finally installed on October 8th. I made a big mistake by not being there in person. The installation was pretty bad. The pieces of stone do not align up, they left epoxy filler on the edges and tracked that epoxy all over the floors. My friend and I spent hours cleaning the floors with a razor blade.They pooped in my toilet with the water off. All they needed to do was make a phone call and I would have gladly told them how to turn the water on. We also have a caretaker to the house. He could have turned the water on, if he had known. They ate an ice cream and didnt throw the trash in the trash can, but instead shoved the wrapper into a drawer. They put the stove back into place without plugging it in. I wasnt strong enough to move it out, so had to call my caretaker to come over and move it out and plug it in.When Lisa came out to inspect the job, she said everything looked fine. She said it was our wall that made the slabs not line up, but that just isnt true. Two slabs on the same wall, were pushed back, but the one at the sink was way too forward.I have learned a valuable lesson, to always be there when an installation takes place.I will never use them again and I am so disappointed.

We did granite counter tops for kitchen + two baths. Granite Concepts provided quality materials, crafting, installation, and service. Highly recommended.

Granite concepts has made countertops for me three times and every time they have been great. The most recent was the most challenging. I am building an Ikea kitchen in an old adobe that is going on the market. Nothing is level or straight. The team from granite concepts did a wonderful job on the template, but when they came to install it, one of my countertops was too out of level! I worked on it for a day (after purchasing an even longer level) and fixed the problem. The next day Lisa managed to squeeze me back into their schedule. Because I had moved one cabinet, they had to trim an edge on site. Everyone was accommodating and gracious, especially nice since it was my fault things were off! The granite is beautiful. Lisa found the slab and when I said the Kitchen was yellow, she said, I have the perfect slab and it was even in my price range! I am so grateful for both their hard work and their kindness!They also did our home 2 years ago. They helped us choose the perfect granite and did a fantastic job cutting it. It is all beautiful.The first thing they ever did for me was about 10 years ago. I chose a remnant from their yard and had an island made from it. It was in the house that is getting the new kitchen. I like the work they did so much, that I have moved that island to my garage in my home! The granite surface was too nice to give up.Lisa, Hugh and the team will go out of their way to do a wonderful job. Highly recommended!

We relied upon Granite Concepts to provide quartz and marble counter and vanity tops for a new house we constructed in Taos in late 2019. Importantly, they were a local company which made it infinitely easier to work with them. More importantly, Lisa did a great job for us. Materials used were first-class. Cuts were precise for all items fabricated. Items were delivered on time and as promised. Fit and finish were excellent. There were no unpleasant surprises. Lisa communicated very well throughout and brought the job in exactly at the quoted price. We would use Granite Concepts again without hesitation, and recommend them without reservation.

I had a small (5 ft) granite kitchen counter top installed. They did a nice job with the install and even anchored the dishwasher. However the sink wasnt placed in the position I wanted. When I asked about it the mistake was blamed on the workers and no offer was made to make it right. I was changed the full price of $1212.
