He is awesome! Very responsive and reasonably priced. Quality of work is top notched!
I bought a non-returnable KW lift kit off eBay for my R8 in order to help me get in an out of the steep driveway of my new home. As it turned out, the kit was sized for the OEM magnetic ride struts that came on the car, which I had replaced a year and a half ago. That made it a tad short for the after-market struts I had put on the car. Robert had a machine shop fabricate a set of spacer washers to make the kit fit, a $50.00 solution to help me avoid a $5,000 mistake. The man is a truly solid mechanic and a pleasure to work with.
I had an emergency before my long trip and had my engine belt changed on my diesel X5 at this shop. Very professional and experienced auto repair service - I would definitely use this place again.
Nice guy, super clean shop and seems honest and did a good job.
First off, I only ever take the time to review things that worked out great... or were horrible. Got Robert to put a new clutch on my 2013 BMW 328i and I couldnt be happier with the experience! Hes a knowledgeable, seasoned mechanic with a passion for these vehicles. His prices are very fair and blow any dealership away by miles. He takes the time to explain things and on top of it... hes a hell of a nice guy. I would without hesitation recommend him to my friends/family and hes definitely earned my future business! Thanks again Robert, she runs great.
Great mechanic. Replaced the water pump in my Buick enclave in a timely manner. I called around he was reasonably priced, Would not hesitate to use Robert again.
Greatest European mechanic in the area if you ever need work done I highly recommend him.
Robert runs an immaculate shop. . .the place is spotless and all supplies/equipment are stored in a neat and orderly manner. Thats a great indicator of pride in ones work. Robert serviced our Mini Cooper S, and the work was timely and reasonably priced. I wouldnt hesitate to have him work on any of my vehicles.
I have to say, Im rather disappointed. Robert seems like a nice enough guy, I guess. But, he had my vehicle for over a month. He claims to employ the most advanced Mercedes dealership equipment. Although, he was able to handle a minor issue with the door lock, he was never able to accurately diagnose the electrical. problem and was totally perplexed by it. He eventually threw in the towel. I guess Im getting old. I remember when taking your car to the shop meant they actually fixed it. Bottom line: A bill for over $1000 for a door lock repair and transmission oil change. Cant endorse results like this. What this tells us about the big picture these days? Why can you get away with charging for nothing, other than wasting customers time is a more complex and serious question. The answer is not good.
Unbelivable service. I could write a novel about my experience and satisfaction from Robert. I wont take my vehicle to any other shop. If only there were more mechanics as skilled and knowledgable as this man.
Just spoke with Robert. I will not bring my BMW (2000M roadster) to him again. The airbag fault light was staying on. He charge $400.00 to diagnose: Clockspring and seat buckles. He replaced those items. The airbag fault is constantly on again. Most annoying was his labor charge of $300.00 to install a radio/rear view camera. He could not install it. Charged me anyway. Best Buy installed without difficulty.
Great guy, spent time with me on the phone prior to us bringing our car in.Roberts price quotes were lower than others, saved the old parts for me.Will have no problem bringing our VW Tiguans back to him for service.
Made appointment to have the water pump on my Jetta fixed...was finished when promised & was very nice to deal with.
About 7 years ago I bought my fathers 1999 Mercedes. The car was in excellent condition except for a very light rattling noise it would occasionally make when I would slow down at traffic lights. My father said his mechanic in Ft. Walton Bch quoted a pretty high price with a questionable issue, and claimed the car would break down if he didnt repair it right away. My dad was skeptical and didnt do it. I took it to Robert a few months later, he quoted a lower price, and said nothing to worry about but eventually your AC will go and youll need a new compressor. So I decided to do nothing since the noise was so low. The car ran well for years till I just recently brought it in for transmission issues, AC repair, horn...etc. Robert did a great job at a reasonable price and my 17 year old Benz is running beautifully again. Robert is sincerely a nice guy, explains your auto issues well without rushing you, and does excellent work.
Simply stated... Robert Stuart is the most experienced and qualified Mercedes and BMW mechanic in the Tampa Bay area that I have ever come across. His service fees are very competitive and the quality of his workmanship is unparalleled. I have had him work on both my Mercedes and BMW and have never had a follow-up problem yet. Robert certainly seems to know his stuff about Volkswagens. However, I would share the same cautions as are wise to use with any auto repair person. If you have diagnostics done, be sure you ask for any logues Robert prints out. We did not do this, even though we had paid to have the car gone over.Get a written estimate. Robert gave us a good price on a transmission replacement, but when we went back it had doubled. Another time he offered to do something for free, and when I called about it again, he had forgotten so he quoted me a price. I was too embarrassed to remind him of his orignal offer and did not have the work done.Get the old parts after a repair. One time we had a repair that Robert said he was waiting for the parts for. A little later, he called saying the repair was done. Later, someone else told us that sensor still needed to be replaced.Shop around. Get your estimate, then call around for prices. Roberts price for the sensor seemed twice as high as what a dealer later quoted. Some of his prices were good, though.Sorry if all this seems ignorant. Were girls, so we didnt know what we were doing. Hope you can navigate auto mechanics well.
Absolutely excellent customer care.
I have degree in auto mechanics from the 70s I did all back then. Dont feel you you are tied to the dealerships high prices, deceits and lies. Robert Stuart is the answer.
