A&B installed a cruise control in my E350 Ford Van. They had my van for 2.5 days. Two hours driving out of town on my way across country my gas pedal went to the floor uncontrollably. Thank God I was on a deserted State highway and was able to slam the brake on constantly, pull over and shut the engine down in full Rev. If I was on a busy highway I would have easily killed myself for another person. It was like a movie; the speedometer went 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 mph etc. I then tried to start the Van again and it went into full Rev. I then punched the brake and gas a few times and the cruise control was dead in the water. No function at all. I called A&B and informed them but it was Saturday evening and they were closed until Monday. By then I was in Texas. On the Monday they said they are glad I didnt get killed and that if I could drive back to them they could try to fix it. I said I was a 20 hour drive away and that I also had no confidence in there capability. An auto repair shop in Texas said the cruise control was installed incorrectly without a gromet through the firewall and that it was attached to an old wheelchair idle throttle and not to the gas pedal wire/cable.Also note: Ten minutes after I initially left A&B my engine light came on and an auto parts store said it was the gas pedal sensor. I drove back to A&B and they fixed it. This was two hours before my gas pedal sped uncontrollably.My only option is to put in a credit card dispute for A&B labor only bill which was 470 $As this was services promised and not delivered.

Called, Rashad told me to come in right away I did and I was in and out in 15 minutes with my car radio working! Killer manager on duty! Thank you for the incredible service!

I had an aftermarket radio in my new car,, and previous owners didnt set it up right and i had all sorts of problems.they were able to rewire the entire thing and get it all fixed up and working for me and Employees were very informative! They ran over my boots and my girlfriends boots and made me jump through hoops to get my boots replaced; the camera didnt catch my girlfriends boots, so I had to replace those as well. They deviated from what I asked for without talking to me first, and I ended up with stuff more suited to a four wheeler than my brand new car. The tore up the carpet in my car and stapled it back together.Stay far FAR away from these crooks.

Owning multiple businesses with multiple vehicle fleets we have had to use a lot of different service providers in the past decade. A&B Audio is by far the best in their industry. They did a head unit, component speakers, sub, and insulation and sound deadening in a cab and chassis commercial truck, And did so with an incredible level of install cleanliness. Sounds great and they left the interior looking even better then when I delivered it to them. Got my business for life!Edit: Rashads customer service is top notch too. As nice and genuine as they come.

This place is great, and the staff are Absolute Professionals. The food at the Cafe would be reason enough to return (I recommend the steak quesadillas; they were out of this world), but the quality of the job and the ease at which they were able to assemble an off-the-shelf product, purchased online and brought in, no less; is what really sets A & B apart.Everything works (Back up cam, blue tooth and stream-casting of the phone)! And they ask your permission and advise of any costs before moving forward with the job. Customer service A+++ I will be back for more upgrades in the future; Buy here with Confidence. :)

My friend took his Jetski over there, paid over two grand for the job, they didn’t even get it right, they messed up his paint with the heat gun, they kept trying to work with him but eventually they told him to get out of the store, bad service. Bill can’t even hook up to simple speakers, that’s pathetic. A and B audio stands for always back. But we’re never coming back!

This place is great. I have a 2020 Mustang and I wanted a different radio installed. Everyone from the owner, management and techs worked tirelessly to get this installation correct. I do appreciate all the extra hours they put into this crazy installation. They went above and beyond and I HIGHLY recommend them. Thanks again folks.

I was having trouble setting up my back up camera for my truck so I stoped in and asked for help. They took time explaining what I was doing wrong and even finished installing it for me. Billy and the crew took great care my car today. I had an issue with my rear window tint bubbling up. As I was out of warranty, and couldn’t have it replaced for free, they gave me a fair price to remove and replace my tint. Not an easy job, and time consuming but they made it me a happy customer. When I arrived, we agreed on the scope of the work and the price. The job was done quickly and VERY professionally. I am well pleased with the quality of the work that was done and with the condition of my car when they returned it to me. I can also recommend their waiting room/coffee shop. A nice latte on a cold rainy day? Life is good!

I had a complete new stereo system installed here a few months ago. Since then, I had 1 rear co-axial start rattling around the rear door and almost fall out entirely. That didnt bother me too much, but what happened with my front speakers is completely unacceptable.... I had them install a pair of Morel 6.5 components. I specifically asked that they dynamat the door speaker area. I was pretty sure I paid for this especially since my final invoice came in about $200.00 more than the original estimate. I noticed the front mids never had much midbass, and lacked any kind of punch for a 6.5 woofer. Well just last week one of my mids up front started making a popping sound. I decided to remove the front door panel myself and investigate. I was shocked to see that no dynamat was used! Also, the speaker adapter plate didnt even cover the whole opening, and the tweeter mount section wasnt even sealed off! See the enclosed picture. I decided to swap out the mids myself and install new ones properly with some sound deadening material. See additional enclosed pic of the new mid I installed. Now my front stage sounds great! Im amazed at how horrible the front mids were originally installed, and the fact that they used no dynamat when I specifically asked for it. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Got my marine stereo here and she is a beaut with remote! Actually shes got a bit too many features. lol They also offered a great price on tinting my boats windows ... I decided not to so??? on that there. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and ready to discuss your audiophile needs.

Honestly, most audio places are not very customer service oriented but this location made me think differently, came in for a quote on window tints and the same day got them installed. The said they would take 2 hours and on the dot they were done 2 hours later. Very pleased with results too!

The people at this place are great. I haven’t had any work done on my car here but I did go in looking for a speaker to replace the factory 8” sub in my car and they said they didn’t have any and that I’d have to order a factory one which I expected. But they knew the replacement OEM was almost 500 for one speaker so they told me about a website that people can find used parts, I had never heard of the site but I looked at it and ended up finding a part. They ended up saying me about 400$ over buying the new part through Lexus. They could have tried to sell me a product and said I would have have to upgrade amp and everything but they were honest and helped me find the part somewhere else. For that I am thankful and I will be coming back if I ever want to get any aftermarket speakers for the car.Would defiantly recommend them. Good peoples.

When I first went in there for a subwoofer and head unit install, I didn’t have any issues. I was having a problem with my sub cutting in and out, so I brought it back in. They didn’t charge me for the amplifier diagnosis however, they tried to tell me my amp and sub were dead and needed to buy a new one. I had a feeling something was going on so I decided to do the research and do it myself. I found that whoever installed it, scratched the paint with a SCREWDRIVER and I didn’t have a good ground connection. I got a wire brush, ran the cables myself and everything worked fine. I don’t know if they were trying to scam me or if the dude who did it just had no clue what he was doing. Either way, don’t do business here.

I wasnt sure what I needed done to fix my radio. They were super helpful and figured out what the problem was. After that they fixed it quickly and inexpensively. I would highly recommend going here for any of your audio needs! As well, they have a great little cafe attached and can make a really good breakfast sandwich while you wait.

I totally recommend A&B Audio. To be a shop it stays clean and smells good! The employees are respectful, honest, and very detailed. Specially Jonathan who takes the time to explain my concerns in a very detailed way. He gave me the best window tint presentation ever! You must come and get your car pimped up here you certainly won’t regret it!!!

$413 just to install a sub, complete rip off don’t waste your money here. Also was quoted 350 (still very high for just an install) and after was said and done got told they took longer than they thought they would and got charged $60 more. Was also told about 1:50 that it would only be another 10 minutes “they’re putting everything back together” I didn’t leave until about 2:40

Needed some aftermarket headlights switched back to stock and some wiring disconnected/cleaned up. Work was performed quickly and efficiently with several options presented. Also a helpful tip was given on a separate issue.

Go in for a quote last week and get told 4hrs labor. I call today to schedule the job for tomorrow and get told 6hrs-7hrs.I actually returned with all brand new parts and the same exact part numbers that you supplied on the quote. So the price went up because I didnt purchase the parts from you? The install is exactly the same. Then you question me about the last time I actually had audio installed and tell me how long you have been in the business. Everything was setup and good when I was speaking to your employees...when you got involved it all changed. You are rude and should just let the employees do the job you hired them to do. It seems like they have better people skills. Non the less, tint world has me taken care of. Thanks again for your help.

I went to A&B Audio based on a recommendation from my auto detailer. I needed to have a subwoofer box and amp installed in my 2019 Audi RS5, that came from my 2018 Audi S4. They did a great job on the installation and it definitely sounds better in the RS5 than the S4, where the audio systems are basically the same. Not only that, the price was very reasonable and fair. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again for my car stereo needs.

I would not recommend this place to anyone I made and appointment for my job to get done and after they did half the job they told me that they wouldnt be able to finish the same day like the promised. Overall workers are pretty stretchy.

That’s what you’ll find in the low ratings on Google and this is what I experienced June 15th, 2020 when I came in to install a radio for Sirius radio.When I went to pay the price was higher then the quote. At no time throughout the service was I informed it would be higher. Only at checkout was I told there was an extra part needed. Also, confirm labor prices here. They charged me $109.99 per hour. Bait and Switch plus overcharge.They told me the job would take 2 to 2.5 hours. I scheduled my day accordingly. 4.5 hours later the service was completed. Three times I was told it would only be 30 minutes more. The last time was the best! I paid the bill at 5:22 pm after being told the vehicle was finished. Once they had my money I waited another 43 minutes until I actually received the car. Bait and SwitchThis business clearly doesn’t know how to fiscally quote a job. They clearly don’t know how to schedule a job.Through all this the owner dressed me down twice. The first time ended with him literally stomping away like a child and with his back to me giving me the finger. The final time was after I was told the vehicle was ready. I paid, and then was forced to wait an extra 43 minutes because I was clearly lied to. The vehicle wasn’t ready. But it was 40 minutes into this wait when I asked the owner where my car was and he responded again in a sarcastic/mocking fashion “Listen, if you want me to take the new radio out and put your old one back in I can.”Guess what? I still don’t have Sirius radio and that’s what I came in for. Was I shown how to use the radio? Nope. Even the clock wasn’t set to the right time.Bait and Switch. Overcharges. Rude Owner. Be prepared for all three.

I stopped by to purchase a 2/0 cable for an installation on our Motorhome. Unfortunately they didnt have wire stock that size, its really big. I found it at a local truck parts store but was unable to crimp the terminals. I stopped by A&B and they were kind enough to crimp the ends for me even though it was purchased at another location.Great staff with a wonderful outlook on customer service.

Decided to upgrade my 2016 Toyota Avalon with an Amp and some 12 JL Audio subs and a Pioneer monoblock 1600 watt amp. Been out of the game for years. Wanted to get back in and increase the enjoyability of my music in my car. Personally I am an audiophile who enjoys high end headphones and higher end home theater and music. I read the reviews here and was a little leary. Boy was I wrong. Started with my phone call from a week prior with Rashaad. Very knowledgeable and comforting. I told him what I was working with. It was all my own equipment. At no time did he try to sell me something from their shop. He gave me a ballpark of what it would cost. Very reasonable. Took two hours. Went to pick the car up. Sounded amazing. They put the bass knob by my leg in the drivers seat for easy adjustment. Did a little extra. Very impressed. Met the owner too. Told me how good the car sounded. After recently moving to Tampa the remote start on our minivan stopped working. I contacted the local Honda dealership who they would recommend and was given the contact for A&B. They were very friendly on the phone when I initially called (I had contacted another MUCH closer shop that I did not have a friendly phone conversation with - clearly decided over the phone who I wanted to do business with). I (foolishly) didnt make an appointment before packing my three young kids into the car to make the 40 minute trek. They were booked solid but the owner and his staff quickly took a look and assessed what had happened. They were so kind to make time for us and easily diagnose why the remote wasnt functioning the same (it had gone back to a factory preset). Their kindness and willingness to help a mama with her hands full was more than appreciated - I kick myself for not getting in there sooner as weve been jumping into our scorching hot car all summer needlessly. Thank you so much and I know where Im heading back to when I have a need!

Ive had A&B install an audio system in my vehicle AND a video system in my home. I am happy with the service I received on both occasions and have referred them to neighbors, friends and family. Where are you able to get reasonable pricing AND customer service these days? Its the internet (no warranty, installation or customer service) OR big box stores ( no specialty items, no personal service and high retail pricing) - - - Didnt find ANY of this with A&B. Ill be back!

Had them do a exterior & interior detail on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler (black exterior, interior & soft top). Joe did a superior job, 2 coats of wax, buffed out exterior surface scratches, conditioned soft top, bumpers & etc. Interior detail was superior as well. Highly recommend for detail work.

These guys are great! Gave me an appointment that suited my needs and had my car done by the end I the day. They perfectly tinted my widows and installed 6 new JL speakers in my car, wow what a difference. I will refer any friend or family member to this place, specifically for tinting windows. The second you walk in the store portion you feel welcome and have a big selection of speakers, subwoofers, head units, and viper systems to choose from. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

A&B Audio has a knowledgeable, helpful staff and extremely accommodating service! My husband upgraded our factory radio on our Jeep Wrangler to a Sony with Apple-Car Play and a back-up camera. The unit is excellent and highly recommend it for teenagers driving. We had a glitch with the installation, but Rashad was very helpful with not only resolving the problem, but getting it done quickly!! Also, Ellas cafe and creperie (attached to A & B audio) is incredibly delicious!

After being referred by a friend, I was very pleased with the service I received and the install in my car. My radio looks great and the speakers sound great too. The coffee shop was a nice treat while I waited.

I dont usually write reviews and when I do I write both good and bad. I spent about 30 minutes with the owner and the top installer. They quoted me $1200 to install a stereo and a bunch of other things. About 2 days into the install they change their quote. Bait and switch. They raised the price to about $2500. Nothing can be done there without an extra fee. I asked them to install a simple illuminated switch from amazon, they told me that it couldnt be lit during operation unless they modified it. I read through the instructions on amazon and that is exactly how it is supposed to be installed. Too many other items to list. They dimple dented my car in 2 places. If you choose to take your vehicle here be prepared for the bait and switch and a LOT of hidden costs.

The good stars you see here on these reviews are either fake or they have never had to go back for an issue. They are friendly only if your going to spend money. They will trick you into buying anything. Pay attention to these signs they are fast talkers, they will lie, they will damage something and not take ownership or responsibility for their mistakes. If it has to do with reimbursement or in any form of the company coming out of pocket you can forget about it. If your amp blows a fuse they will just replace the fuse and keep you coming back. if your amp blows they will tell you its up to the manufacturer, then they will tell you the manufacturer wont cover it because they cant determine if it was the amp or anything else. but they will tell you that they will give you store balance, assuming you will spend more or sell you something cheaper, but if you ask for store balance (not store credit) then they will have to look into it that they will have to call you back but never receive a call back. When you express your treatment then they hang up on you. If you ask for your damaged property back from the manufacturer, they will tell you that you will have to pay for it to be shipped back to their store. Their products are over priced. check online prices before you buy. I paid $1,800 for a $400 product. I spent with them $3,500 in one day and $1,000 on another day to not be reimbursed for a $300 item. I saw all the signs but still fell for their scams. I dont wish this on no one. Proceed with caution, Please dont make the same mistakes that I did and if you do, tell others about it for they can be warned.

They did work on my 2012 Chevy Camaro. Tried to help me figure out what type of white LED bulb would go in my fog lights to replace the tan factory bulb in there now. After 35 or 45 mins of trying different sizes, which I clearly told them how the factory bulb size is not the same type of what you may think. But they tried what I already did and other things. charged me $50 and said sorry man we have no idea what kind of bulbs you need. So i got charged $50 for nothing. I used to love this place because they helped me install things for a reasonable price. Then things got expensive. Now they just take money and move on.*RESPONSE*Unfortunately your records are not correct. If you go back to June 1, 2016 you will see a charge for $65.57. Thats when it hit my card. The payment was taken on May 31, 2016. And yes I agree, the technicians are amazing and always did the very best for the previous times I was there and one time did more than what was expected. But a technician is supposed to at least give me a type of bulb that I should buy and come back with. If the technician spent all that time trying out different types of bulbs and finally knew which one I needed to get for installation or explained to me some sort of conversion kit to get for a bulb to fit, I would have walked away happy knowing I got an answer and can return with the right products to have it installed. But that is what did not happen. I was told they have no idea and cannot figure it out. So I paid for labor when nothing got done and no answer was given. I had a great experience! Rahshad is veru knowledgeable and really listened to me. I went in with a simple question and left with a complete new system. The installers did a clean job with wiring the amp and the subs. Perfect installation of my double din and backup camera as well. Nick even gave me a ride home while they did the work. Dropped the car off at 9 and the job was done perfectly the same day. Being in the automotive business myself I couldnt have been more satisfied!

Great job...We are full time RVers living in a Class C Motorhome. Were having some Electrical Problems draining our Chassis Battery. Had a Ford Dealer take a look and nothing they wanted to do because of aftermarket Systems. Referred us to A and B Audio..... Fantastic results. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance for car window tint as as surprise birthday present. They cancelled 30 minutes before my appointment and I had already driven 45 minutes from Tampa to make the appointment.No tint and totally ruined the surprise since I had to tell my boyfriend why I couldnt give him his gift. Very disappointed.

Johnathan & Nick took excellant care of me . Johnathan diagosed the problem and we decided the best route was a new head unit ( radio, GPS, audio system) amp, sub woofer and add crossovers to existing speakers. clean sound with bass punch that was needed. thanks guys. Good Job
