The staff is very helpful. Shortly after I walked in, they offered to help. They showed me where to look for the item I wanted. They didnt have another item I was looking for and even recommended another nearby store that did have it. Thank you!

The store is always stocked with all our seasonal products for our boat.Even when we cant find what we need, the staff educates us on what we need, and sometimes give us advice to help us if they know.I also love the clothing selections here.

The last 3 times Ive been to this store they are always sold out of whatever Im there for.Just sold the last one.I ask advice for a backup plan.Were out of those too.Whats happened to West Marine? This used to be the mack daddy of boating stores. Now I think I could do better at Big Lots.

This is a nice location and a large store. They have pretty much anything you need for boating & fishing. If you need something and cannot find it they may have it here. Compared to Walmart, which is in same shopping center their prices are pretty even. This is based on the fishing lures and bait prices. Staff was very helpful too.

Went for a plug. Left with 2 dresses on sale. They go above and beyond to help you find what you need. Boat supplies and fashion.💕

Went to west marine to get some stainless screws for my boat, almost all of the bins were empty and what the do have is expensive. They are missing a lot of other inventory, I tried to get some life jackets, they didnt have them either. I ended up going to another boat store that had plenty of hardware.

Service is excellent, but the inventory levels seem very low.

Most of thr younger guys working there are always helpful and more then pleasing to work with but the manager DJ is the most unappealing person to have to work with. He is not only not helpful at all he has this miserable attitude. Asked a simple question and he made it seem like it was out if his way. He made the task 10 times harder then it needed to probably so he wouldnt have to do it. Ended up calling a different store.

Went in looking for a fishing kayak. No other patrons in the store. The woman at the counter ignored us for at least 10 minutes while we were looking, right next to her! We walked out and she made no eye contact or acknowledgement that we even entered the store! Lost a big sale. We ordered on line.

We started going here after the Holiday store closed. The staff and experience is excellent. Our recent return of a gps/fish finder was a breeze. We prefer to frequent local fish and tackle stores for lures, rods and reels however some things including electronics we go to West Marine for. They are better then Bass pro Shop and more knowledgeable.

They have NEVER honored their price match promise always claiming the item is NOT EXACTLY the same as the “same” lower priced item at any other store.I will add since this first review... they have hired some excellent employees. It makes a huge difference when you have no choice but pay a high price for a hard to get item or are in a pinch.UPDATE: prices are ridiculously high. As much as I like to support locally, locally needs to support and not scalp local buyers as well.All the nice employees are gone and the grumpy ones are left.. ALL THE STORES not just one.Im sorry but I have to buy equipment online. That stinks..

Called to see if they had a starter for my engine.. They did and held it for me to pick up later in the day. Staff was very helpful with the transaction and transferred my West Advantage card to reflect my FL address. The price was higher than from others on the net, but West Marine had it, there was no shipping charge and I got it the same day. Was worth the difference in cost just to have it immediately. Would recommend them if youre looking for good service.

I called the store today and asked if my order came in. The lady said the reel came in but the rod has not. I asked if I could come in and get the reel spooled and I wanted to buy two new heaver rods for the Penn Clash 8000 reels I just bought, she told me to come in today if I wanted them spooled and I responded I could be there in about one hour. When I arrived the lady I spoke with on the phone said there is no way for me to get the reels spooled today. When I reminded her of our conversation earlier she made a face and scruged her shoulders and mentioned it was not her I spoke with. She later said she is the only woman in the store and before I walked out, she mentioned she made a mistake to the manager standing next to her. I canceled the order for the rod, I will purchase the other two rods, have them spooled, and purchase my fishing and boating supplies from someone else from now on. West Marine lost out on a $900 order today because of your sales people being rude. Being a West Marine Advantage member has no benefit if you have to deal with unprofessional people. Sad!

Used to Go there often to just look and price things, and not once in two years has any employee ever approached me to ask if i needed anything... excessively expensive and poor customer service.

A bit pricey but they have a decent selection. Everything from deep cycle marine batteries to Guy Harvey apparel.

You need car mounts for kayaks, not just wall mounts. Most of us buy kayaks to use them, not look at them hanging on the wall.

Customer service is just ok. Help offered after 15 minutes after I came into the store. However they have a very good selection.
