Rod is absolutely the BEST. After purchasing a boat and beginning to head across the Gulf we experienced issues. We called on a Friday morning and Rod welcomed us in and took unbelievable care of us and our boat.Not only did he make repairs, he made arrangements for repairs outside of his shop and made sure they were performed properly. He even found us a Captain to bring the boat across the Gulf because the weather was so bad.He went way out of his way to accommodate us and make sure everything was correct. After receiving his invoice (after we already had the boat back) the price was reasonable and the work was great. He gets our full recommendation!!!

This boat yard experience was disappointing, with work left undone despite six weeks time in the yard. Rod is professional but too busy and does not adequately supervise his staff. His staff expressed direct resentment about having to talk with the customer to answer questions (me), did not complete their work, left battery covers and partitions off, a bilge full of diesel and oil from engine work, no gasket replacement on the water pump, a hose cracked open due to innapropriate placement/tightening of a clamp, non functioning guages they were tasked with replacing, loss of an oil pressure alarm that had been working prior to the boat yard. It was splashed down with six weeks of yard grime covering the deck, secured to a cement dock without adequate fenders or lines, and left plugged into power but without the AC switched on in the cabin, resulting in battery depletion. If you need only bottom paint and a short stay, this yard may be adequate. Go elsewhere if additional services will be needed.

ATW just finished bottom painting my boat and it looks great! Their quote was competitive to other shops and kept me informed throughout the process and sent me pictures of the progression from start to finish. Additionally ATW didn’t try to up sell me on any additional services but provided straight forward answers and advice to questions about whether the OB, trim tabs or underwater lights need to be bottom painted too. I would definitely call Rod again at ATW for any other marine service needs!

Our boat is not exactly a megayacht, but Rod and crew have serviced and repaired from top to bottom many diverse systems. Basics such as bottom paint and waxing at fair rates. Underwater fittings like rudder posts that are difficult to do. Radar diagnostics, diesel maintenance and generator.

Work done to a boat I got from my father done here. Service and quality of the work were both great. Pricing was very far. I would recommend ATW Marine to anyone who needs work done ..
