Great store for new and used books. Great deals if you look around.

Good selection, decent prices for a small business, but every time Ive been there Ive had rude encounters with staff. First I was told that potty training books didn’t exist. On another occasion a woman working behind the desk (who wasnt even the one checking me out) made a judgmental comment about my book choice. People are all going to have different taste in reading material, and if you cant just let them enjoy that, maybe working in a book store isnt for you. I really want to support small businesses, especially book stores, but I think Ill be finding another book shop in the future.

Mostly used paperbacks. A few new books. Very basic space, no functioning restroom. Woman at cash register wearing mask as chin hammock most of the time, making me leave sooner than I normally would leave a bookstore.

HUGE selection of used books, with a few tables of new and local releases. In addition, you can order almost any book from their website and have it delivered to the store. They are a little old school... Online communication was lacking; my email was never answered and it’s a 50/50 shot messaging through Facebook. You’re better off calling or visiting in person. Staff highly prefer cash and checks for payment as they cannot accept card payments less than $10. If you’re a book lover, it’s worth a visit.

I love this place! They will buy back some of your books when you bring them in, only at a certain percentage though, and give you a receipt for the book cost that the bought. With that, you can use it to buy other used books that you may want to buy. If you like to read, this is the place to be. I never leave here with an empty bag!

I love this book store. Huge huge selection, and all used titles are half off the cover price. Ive been going here since I was a kid. Brings back great memories of my grandmother who I used to frequent with when I visited the area in the summer time

I was verbally attacked by a very rude, unprofessional and possibly senile cashier. Was making a delivery on the behave of Amazon and she exploded on me about how “you people” weren’t allowed to deliver here only FedEx, UPS, and USPS. She continued on her rant and her disgust for Amazon (Rightly so as we are her direct competition) nevertheless she was extremely unprofessional as two customers stood and witnessed this scene. I can see why people prefer to order books from Amazon while not having to deal with senile rants from Paula Deen.

Been going since I was a kid and now my kids love it too. Friendly and helpful staff, tons of selection, great deals on new and used books....and you can even get credit trading in your old books. Highly recommended.

Great place. Books in good condition. Cheap prices. They know their inventory and can help you find what you want. Soooo many books.

Interesting bookstore. If you have a bunch of old books around your house you dont want thry will give you store credit for them (with some limitations, look on their website) and you can use it toward the purchase of used books. Its fun to hunt around for a new book (to you that is) and clean out your bookshelf at the same time. Definitely a rainy day distraction.

Quaint local bookstore with a good selection. Super friendly staff make occasionally visiting to see whats new a pleasure. Try to bring cash if you can, there is a credit limit and they prefer it regardless.

Read more books is a wonderful place! The ppl are nice and helpful. I have been going to this book store since I was a kid and now I take my children there.

I had a good time visiting this book store. I found the prices to be rather high for the vintage books. It could be that they dont have as much inventory as places closer to Boston. They do have inventory for all ages. I will stop by again if Im ever in the Taunton area. I did enjoy their new England focused section.

Beautiful small business. Constant new inventory, good prices, and they’ll order a book for you if it’s not in store. This is the first place I go when looking for books.

Readmore book store is the best store in the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Selection is good and the prices are the same as going to Walmart if not a bit lower. If they don’t have what you are looking for they are happy to order it for you.

They sell both new and used books, which is great, but they try to sell used books as new if they are in good condition... Unethical! I went there when I moved into town, and while browsing the new books, I found one mixed in that looked like new, but had a handwritten price written inside the cover, as many used book stores do, so I went up to buy it. When I pointed it out to buy it, not only did they deny it and say they dont mark their used books that way, they accused me of marking it, myself. I buy used books all the time, but would NEVER go to this place again, knowing the kind of scheme they are running and how they treat customers.

Bad attitude and bad customer service. Made mistakes at check out and when questioned, blamed customer. Prices too high as well. Better buying new .

I went searching for a very old book to replace a ruined one, and found exactly one copy there, after much assistance and searching by the available employee. I couldnt be happier with the result, the treatment, or the overall demeanor of everyone Ive had the pleasure of encountering here. I will always come here before searching another bookstore for anything. I wish I had more than 5 stars to give!

This place has a wealth of used books. As book stores are dyimg this gem has almost everything you need. Before going on amazon I recommend you go tp read more books and see what your options are.

Though it has been here for a longtime I just learned of its existence this week and made my first visit today. Though I occassionally buy new books my habit is almost exclusively used and Readmore has plenty to fulfill my fix. It is now added to my destinations of quality independent privately owned businesses to support.

Love Readmore Books, Ive been coming here since i was a little kid, about 30 years. Its family owned & family friendly, the owners are super nice, theres a great selection of books for every age, great prices & deals, & if they dont have the book(s) youre looking for, theyre able 2 order it for you for a reasonable price. I would have given this a 5 star rating except they didnt have to books I wanted. They where on the website, but I didnt look closely enough, so I didnt see they where only available online.

They are a great local store and are always very kind. They have a good book selection, and if for some reason they do not have what you are looking for they will order it for you. I highly recommend giving them a try.

They have a very large selection of books and the staff is very nice but they are very overpriced. Unfortunately, book stores like this with suxh high prices are why Amazon is basically taking over and causing so many book stores to disappear.

Sales associates were SO sociable amd knowledgeable. They made great suggestions based on open dialogue. Easy off street parking AND interesting and unexpected vinyl collection.

Dont judge a book by its cover! Third trip in a month. 27 childrens books for approx $80...nephew in HEAVEN!!! I just bought 9 books for $20!

Extremely rude cashier thats freaks out on you if you dont want to special order. Shes lost her mind on quite a few customers in my presence. Has very few books published in the last two decades, its hard to find even the most common books there. Dirty and dingy. Its too bad it has a lot of potential, and I root for the independent stores, but the staff is just unapproachable and the store is understocked.

Easily accessed. Small parking area, rarely busy though. Used book selection is hit or miss but if you are into the number 1-5 bestsellers you should have no problems with their backstock (patterson, kellerman, evanovich, grishom etc). Staff is friendly. Able to order modt anything if not available. Credit cards accepted for purchases over $10.

New and used books. But used are expensive, like half of the listed publishers price...good selection, but kinda pricey since cashiers told me they go to saverscand salvation army to buy stock.
