Ive sold dozens of items through Richie and have bought a few items too. Hes great: very accommodating, friendly, fair, and great businessman. If you have nice things you need to get rid of and dont want to deal with ebay, shipping, buyers, etc. this is a fantastic alternative. He always has an amazing selection of items too. SUPER IMPRESSED!!! Ill continue working with him as long as Im in the area.

Bogus! I was high bidder and then they let someone else bid same amount to win. That is not how auctions are supposed to work! The less than intelligent response I received back devoid of grammar and spelling and capital letters was:hi there the hammer fell on the last bit that came in which was the same amount, sorry you did not won. regards chicoi

Beware this auction house is not to be trusted. Richie may appear cordial but completely ignored the reserve that was agreed upon and sold a valuable set for $100, when asked about how this could happen he and his staff became very aggressive, confrontational and rude, when we asked for a painting back that had not yet gone to auction they were very reluctant to return it, when it was finally returned it was damaged and torn.Addendum to original statement: no contract was ever presented or provided, it was made very clear at the time the Ficks Reed set was picked up that the starting bid was to be $1200 or there was no interest in selling the set. We were reassured that the opening bid would start at $1200, this was completely ignored. There was no mention of poor condition of the set other than a stain on one cushion. Although the backing of the painting was not in good shape it was NOT moldy.We were under the impression that this was an honorable auction house, Richie was presented with prices for the same set between $1400 and $2,000 later we found a restored couch alone at over $40k. Returning from her Moms memorial service, after being told feel free to stop in anytime to be met with screaming and being berated by the shop owner was more than emotionally disturbing just for asking for the oil painting to be returned, this was more than out of line, and the level of rudeness when asked about the money from the sale was just appalling. Dishonest does not even touch the level of deceit that was displayed by the owner and his staff.I cannot, in good conscience recommend this shop.

I have sold and bought through and from this auctioneer for more than two years, and have absolutely no complaints. The company works overtime to meet the highest expectations of both bidders and consigners. RBs offerings are topnotch, and upon receipt by buyers, exactly as pictured and described online. I would, and regularly do, highly recommend this house without the slightest reservation to anyone with quality merchandise to sell, or a desire to purchase the same. These are good people, who give you all the reason you need to trust them.

Nice items but during auction every piece I had waited for had ask change and bids would jump 500 plus. A little unreasonable for as many items, better off raising starting bid instead of wasting bidders time at auction. I watch these auctions and watch floor bids and internet bidding for months and after a few you see patterns and when an auction is real or not. After about 6 items I had watched and bid on I got the agenda and followed other auctions for the day. Ironically I only had issues with RBFine arts my other auctions went as usual.
