Actually the food I saw come out of the kitchen looked delicious. I decided to leave before ordering food because the young lady at the bar was so rude and unhappy. It is also one of those weird Texas style gambling places. Which who cares but the place smells so strong of cigarette smoke who could eat. Sorry. No bueno

I am working at a plant in Taylor, Tx and googled this place. Real good chicken fried steak hope I can work back up here to try something different.

We are very glad we found this on Google maps. We were able to park an 18 wheeler and the food was outstanding! Very unique little diamond in the rough 💜

Grew up in Taylor I like what this place has become but, the fries and tots were pretty bad almost like they were over cooked or old but the onion rings look good. Everything else was ok. Dont get the fries, pickles, or tots.

Had the hamburger steak. It was wonderful! Did get the wrong order first then a wrong side but it was very busy and loud so I wasnt mad. Everything tasted so good!!

The Fried Chicken Special with the Texas Beer company IPA was excellent. Visited the appropriately named bait ship afterwards. Thursdays is bull riding night!

I had one of the best burgers of my life (47 years) today!! I would recommend this place to everyone but my enemies, no way they deserve this kind of pleasure 😉

Chicken fried steak was ok. Sweet tea could have passed for unsweetened. Service was great until we tried to get our waitress attention. She told us she would be right back with the check..... After about 10 minutes we asked for the check again and were told that it was at the register.

If i could give this place 10 stars i would. I had the meatloaf. It was the most amazing meatloaf i have ever had in my life. Im not kidding you have to try it. I know it has bacon in it but not sure what else. If i were to guess i would say corned beef but what do i know.

Circleville store is a rustic, family friendly eateries. Fare is simple and good. Prices are reasonable and quantity plentiful. Catfish and french fries were $9.99. There were 9 pieces of fish and heap of fries with gravy. Standard Southern food including burgers, chicken fried steak, etc. Help is courteous and attentive.

Circleville store has been modified to a restaurant food was awesome service was even better visit Lake Granger for camping trips quite often will definitely the dining at Circleville restaurant and the future

Ive avoided this place for 4 years because they allowed smoking. Now theyve gone smoke free and oh, what a wonderful experience. Down home little joint with excellent chicken fried steak, fried okra and mashed potatoes. Couldve used a little more gravy cause that stuff was GOOD! We are definitely going to be back :-)

Service is awesome and the food is great. Great place to gather for small party or hold a special event for a lot of people. Very pleased with this place.

This place is like the hole in the wall restaurant but with an awesome hometown feel. I had the 12oz. Rib eye and it was very well made my compliments to the cook! The burgers were great to with a couple of dos equis to wash the great food down.

If your looking for comfort food this is the place to go! I have only had everything fried lol but it was all fresh! You better go early if you want some fried okra! Like i said it is fresh and they run out because it is so good!

Outstanding service and food. Im addicted to the Hamburger Steak Nikkis Way, been there 4 or 5 times and every time I have ordered it. But, my family says the steak and everything else is delicious... Im just hooked on the hamburger steak...

Grew up in Taylor and remember the old Circleville store with fish bait, groceries, fresh meat for sale, burgers and beer... but times change!! Visited a while back, and its remodeled, but thankfully plenty of the old remains! ... They had the old standard bottled beers along with a great selection craft beer!! A bar!! Draft beer! Kitchen, and some nice people.. yep.. surprised me, and I loved it! Na Zdravi!
